Blazekit watched as Ragingstar told the clan what to do.
"We will have many patrols and search through the whole forest until we find Foxkit!" he yowled angrily. 

"Can we go Redwillow?" Ashkit asked. "No." Redwillow said strictly then stood up.
"What patrol will I join?" she asked. "Icewing will take you, who will look after all of the kits?" Ragingstar asked the queens.
"The elders have the capability of looking after them. Only a couple warriors and all apprentices will stay in camp, correct?" The ginger she-cat asked in a husky voice.
"Correct" Ragingstar confirmed
"Now for patrols" Icewing said stepping up to the rock. 

"Ashfur, Rainsplash, Sootvine, Cloudflank, Brightshine, Snowscorch, and Firesapphire will lead a patrol." the large white tom mewed. 

"Ashfur you will take ShrewNettle, Squrrieltimber, Leafsong, Brambletail, and Berrystem." The white pelted deputy took a breath then continued "Rainsplash, will take Poppytuft, Honeydove, Shadowpelt, Firerose, and Heavydrift."                     Blazekit watched as the warriors mentioned began to find their specific patrols 
"Sootvine will lead his patrol containing Chestnutfox, Scartail, Redstripe, Snowwhisker, and Swiftpath"                                 "Cloudflank will take Suncloud, Tansyflight, Direfox, Cloudstorm, and Blackpuddle"                             "Brightshine will follow with Hazelsneeze, Snowslash, Sparrowwish, Haresneeze, and Flamelight"                  
"Frostfleet will then take Ivybreeze, Midnighttail, Firetimber, Emberheart, and Gingerleaf" Icewing looked around the gorge at all of his clanmates and nodded.
"The rest of you will be with me" Ragingstar yowled. "Only Owlbranch, Silentcall, Lilywhisker, Petalwatcher, Nightferret, Whitefeather, Ashspeck, and Crownight will stay here in camp"
Icewing twitched his tail. "I will also take a patrol with Hollybranch, Silvervixen, Mountainrush, and Crystalshimmer"

The patrols got ready at the entrance as the night, like the sun disappearing in the nursery tales. "Good luck" Redwillow told Icewing as he departed.

Blazekit watched with stunned eyes as the clan began to leave. "Why does everyone have to go to find Foxkit?" he asked.
Lionflame, a newly made warrior put his tail on her should. "A kit missing is a big thing for Fireclan, if Foxkit isn't found then the leader will make him an apprentice and so he can be sent to Starclan with the gift of the whole clan" he told the ginger kit. 
"So if I die I will be made an apprentice?" Blazekit asked.
"If you do die on purpose and the leader know's that then you die without your apprentice name. It's better to die in battle for the clan's safety." Lionflame said as grief over took him.
"I understand..." Blazekit rest his tiny fluffy head on to his paws. 

At Moonhigh when everyone in camp was sleeping a patrol returned with many battle scars and oozing blood. "Fox. Territory." Frostfleet mewed, trying to lick a wound on his back. "Let me get Breezewing" Silentcall called from the far corner near the medicine cats den. 

"Get the apprentices up" Nightferret cried out as a large ginger shape lunged out of the shadows. All of the warriors in camp swarmed to the nursery and let there claws unsheathed
"ATTACK!"
