I, Nico, was trapped in a prison by the Japanese with my friend Michael. We had gone nicely, and surrendered our ships. Our decision let our friends, Joey, Aaron, Lucas, and Maggie, be free to continue fighting for the allies. Maggie was the pilot of a silver B-24 named Glory. A little over a week ago, she helped lead an attack on Japan. We have been slowly getting gunpowder from bullets at the factory to escape. We have a gun, some ammo, and hope. Another Sunday. No work. There was a knock on the cell door.

"Mail." A guard said, throwing three letters at us.

We looked at the letters. One had my name on it, one with Michael's, one for both. I opened mine to see it was from my parents. They were scared, but knew I was brave. And smart enough to know what to do. Michael's was the same from his parents. The last one was from our friends. They said they were worried, and working to set us free. Maggie would help fly raids, and Aaron was learning to be a captain for the Air Navy. Lucas was interested in manning a tank gun, but decided to stay with Joey and serve with Aaron.
It was good to know they were okay. But we needed out. Now. It didn't matter if our friends were there to get us free, we had to go.
