Prologue

Elizabeth’s POV

I felt his gaze on my lips.

I really wanted him to kiss me.

My heart was racing so fast, I was almost positive he could hear it.

We’ve been together for a long time now, and he still had an effect on me.

I look into his eyes, they were sparkling.

My arms hung loosely from his neck.

His around my waist.

As he leaned down to kiss me, my eyes shut.

Our kisses were always full of passion.

His connected with mine.

Our lips moved in perfect sync.

He soon pulled away, much too quickly for me.

I went to open my eyes, going as slowly as possible, staying in the moment.

But, I didn’t see him.

I saw my bedroom.
