My paws swiftly run through the forest dodging the trees and vines. They were close, to close, I have to lead them away from my family. Ever since father disappeared I took on all the responsibilities he had.

I miss place my footing and fell face first into the mud, and I was surrounded. Four wolves surrounded me, I was no match, but better to die trying. I growled at them.

Wolf 1: *laughs* you call that a growl

They inched closer. They licked their teeth, just before they were going to slaughter me a hear a roar from the trees.

Wolf 2: w-what was that?!

Wolf 3: i t-think it was a lion!

Wolf 1: stop being such scaredy cats

Wolf 4: this is not a time for puns!

Idiots. As they were arguing I quietly slipped away and ran. I ran for a while to make sure they weren't fallowing, and I slowed down and got caught in a net. Today has just been fantastic! I look around and see a cat walk up to me.

Cat: hello I'm Sharlet, did you hear my roar!? It was awesome right! Your probably wondering why you are in my net, well I doubted that you wouldn't kill me if I didn't take precautions, so I trapped you

I growled.
"Let me out cat!"

Sharlet: hey I saved you so if I let you out you promise not to kill me?

"Fine"
She undid the net with her claws and she jumped up into the tree just to be sure.
"Stay at least 20 yards away from me"
I started walking, I turned to see her tail sticking out behind a bush only two feet away. I sighed, knowing that she was probably going to fallow him for a long while..........
