Skeletons, when attracting a mate, like to give gifts.

In ancient times, a skeleton would give another the dead body of a animal or human, rocks or branches, or practically any shiny object to attract them.

In modern days Skeletons will gift large meals, jewelry, or potted plants to attract a potential mate.

If two become mates, then they will mate for life. Rarely do Skeletons split up or find another mate.

Carriers or the birth parents will be the sole caretaker for their young until they are Skeles. They will be very protective and loving to their offspring, even if the young is from an unwanted carry.

Sires usually stay away during this time, as Carriers are very protective with their young and will attack anyone who gets to close. Even their own mate or the young's sire.

Sires will come around and teach them things during their Skele years if they decide to stay.

It's rare for Sires to actively want to care for Skullies.

Skullies themselves show little interest in their Sires, being more emotionally attached to their Carrier.
