I woke up startled from the dream. I breath so heavily, and I feel my left eye burning again. What is the world was that?! I thought. Was it real?! Was it a memory?! Was that really what I saw back at the hospital?! I was freaking out so much that I didn't realise that Papyrus and Frisk were in the room, a long with Toriel, Asgore and Alphys. I felt a hand in my shoulder, and I looked up. It was Papyrus, looking terrified.

"SANS! ARE YOU OK?!" Papyrus said. I instantly stood up and hugged him, my eye not burning anymore.

"Y-Yeah, it was just a n-nightmare…" I say, hugging Papyrus tighter. Tears are welling up in my eyes sockets.

"Oh Sans…"  Papyrus said, speaking quieter. "Do you mind telling us?" I looked around, seeing everyone worried. I don't want them to worry but…maybe it's for the best.

"W-Well, there was two people, o-ne shorter than the other. The short one, they…they…" I started to cry. Why does he look so much like him? Papyrus sat right next to me, trying to comfort me. "…they cut off your head Paps." I managed to say, my voice cracking somehow. Everyone looked at me in shock. Frisk looked like she felt guilty for it. What is this kid hiding? I dismissed the thought as Papyrus hugged me.

"It was all just a dream Sans, I'm here." Papyrus started to rub my back in circles. I hug Papyrus tighter.

"D-do you know who was the attacker in your dream was?" Frisk asked, looking a bit sad.

"N-no, I-I couldn't tell. It was all blurry. B-b-but the tall figure looked alot like Paps, so that all I-I got." I say. Frisk looked like she was hiding something. She looked guilty. Was she…no, there's no way. I might need to ask her in private. Papyrus hugs me tighter.

"I'M SURE IT WAS JUST A DREAM! AFTER ALL, NOTHING CAN GET THROUGH THE GREAT PAPYRUS, NYEH HE HE!" Papyrus said, returning to his usual loud self. It brought a smile to my face seeing him like this.

"Do you feel better Sans?" Asgore said, coming next to me.

"Yeah, I-I feel better." I say, wiping the tears off my face.

"That's good, we wouldn't want you to worry." Asgore gave me a comforting smile. I smiled back at him.

"Hey Sans, what did you just call Papyrus?" Toriel asked.

"I called him… Paps…" I actually never noticed that I called him that. "I guess it must have slipped from my mouth." Paps gave me the happiest face I have ever seen him do.

"THAT WAS THE NICKNAME YOU GAVE ME!" He said half squealing. "I'M SO GLAD YOU ARE GETTING BETTER SANS!" He then picked me up and hugged me tightly.

"Paps!…ne-ed to… breathe!"(I…I give up) I say, trying to escape his grip.

"OH, SORRY SANS!" Paps said as he put me down. "YOU KNOW WHAT?! THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION!" Paps then drags me out of the door.

"Woh!! P-Paps, what was gotten into…you…"

I managed to regain my balance, and I might feel like I might fall on the spot from the shock. A whole bunch of monsters jumped out of bushes and trees, and were all yelling out "SURPRISE!" I was, in fact, surprised at this. I could even see a couple of humans here and there.

"W-what is all this?!" I asked, still surprised.

"WELL, WHEN THE PEOPLE HEARD THAT YOU GOT HURT, THEY PLANNED A SURPRISE PARTY FOR WHEN YOU GET BETTER! THEY FILLED ME IN THIS MORNING, SO I GLADLY ACCEPTED TO HELP BY DRAGGING YOU OUT OF THE HOUSE!" Paps said, making a dramatic pose. "THESE ARE ALL YOUR FRIENDS FROM SNOWDIN!"

"Wow, you guys really did all of this?" I asked, still in shock. They all nodded happily. I feel like this is going to be a looong afternoon…

So I spent most of the afternoon reintroducing myself to everyone here. I came to a liking to a fire element monster
and he said that his name was Grillby. I used to come to a bar of his all the time, he said, and he even gave me a bottle of ketchup for some reason. He said that it was my favorite drink? I'm still confused, but I didn't care. We eventually made it to lunch, and I ate so much food, and I might have to skip dinner(no silly, you just ate lunner!).

We had pizza, mac and cheese, fries, all the good food. I even ended up using the ketchup(as a condiment for the mac and cheese. You could use ketchup on mac and cheese, right?). Anywho, after the food, people started to leave. I actually ended up talking to the 2 humans that I saw.

"Wow! It's amazing to meet you in person Mr. Sans!" A girl in a blue t-shirt and blond curly hair said.

"Uh, great. Just, call me Sans." I said, not being comfortable with being called 'mister'. It gave me weird vibes. "Hey, uh, where exactly did you see me?"

"Oh! We saw you at Grillby's! You made a whole lot of puns that really made our day!" A man with the same blue shirt and brown messy hair said.

"Oh, do you really think they're 'Sans'sational?!" I say, giving out the finger guns. The 2 people laughed their butts off. But their laugh kinda sounded…forced?

"Please let us take a picture with you! It would be amazing!"

"Uh, sure, I guess." I say, still feeling uncomfortable about their laughs. They stood one side each, and used a selfie stick to take a picture. After they were done, they just thanked me for the picture and ran off. They didn't even gave me their names. Weird. But anyway the party ended at around 10, and everyone was pretty much done by now. Mainly everyone was gone, except for Toriel and Frisk. They wanted to stay a bit longer. While Toriel and Paps were taking, I took the opportunity to talk to Frisk. We started off with small talk, like how the party was, what was our favorite part of it, etc. Then I decided to drop the bomb.

"Hey Frisk?" I say, taking a deep breath before hand.

"Yeah Sans, what is it?" She asked. Her smile dropped a bit.

"Why did you look so…guilty, earlier? When you asked me about my dream?" Frisk just sat there in shock. She then looked down shamefully and a huge frown came to her face.

"…could we please talk about this someplace more…private?" The tone in her voice was actually very disarming. Frisk then looked up a bit to look at Toriel and Paps, who are walking up to us."I don't want to disappoint them…" She said in a whisper.

"Frisk, are you ready to go?" Toriel said, grabbing her handbag.

"Yeah mom." Frisk said as she stood up. She then turned around to tell me:"next time we talk alone, i'll tell you the truth.." Frisk ran up to Toriel, leaving me in shock. Toriel and Frisk said goodbye and left the house, and me and Paps immediately went to our rooms for the night. I changed into the clothes that I found in the drawer and laid in my head pondering.

"What are you hiding Frisk?" I said to myself.

"How many secrets are you hiding?"

I immediately fell asleep after that.
