"comon Kat,you got this"Mandy,my trainer yelled across the ice,i was gonna nail this trippl toe spin,even if it was the last thing i would do, as I was up in the air,spinning I started painting,I was having a panic attack,all the stress of making it to reginals was getting to me,I fell on the cold ice in a crumpled heap felling something drip down my head,I started falling into a haze"oh my god""somebody call an ambulance"that was the end of my skating career,or so I thought.

My name is Katarina Blake,I live in  miss Julie's orphanage,and I've been professionaly ice skating all my life.it was my way of making money,but then I fell and there goes my chance to go to the olimpics,lots of pressure for a 13 year old,right? Well on with the story of how I got adopted and my new parents incureged me to skate again and I met my amazing boyfriend,Justin.
"Kat,wake up,there's a couple here to adopted and you have to get to the rink"miss Julie's assistant,Amy says as she shakes me awake,as she says rink my eyes sheet fear,that fall plays constantly in my head on a loop"no, no-no,I can't skate anymore"I mumble as I grab my cloths and walk to get my pills"yes you can,don't let the fear make you give up something you love""what if-"I say about to voice the dought I had but she interrupted me"no,no,no.you can't be like,"what if"you have to take a risk"I sigh seeing as I can't respond with Amy,I walk past her into the bathroom and change into black leggings,a black leotard gray leg warmers and a little gray wrap around sweater,and Adidas and I grab my bag with my skates and walk downstairs,heading to my little space where know one could see me soon miss julie walks a couple into the room"okay so do you guys know what age range you want"she asks a REALLY tall guy,he was holding two little boys hands and I'm just assuming is the wife,was holding a sweet little girl,"yeah,were looking for a 12,13 year old"he states"well you just in luck,we have 3 kids in that age range,jack who is 13, Olivia who is 12 and then there is Kat who just turned 13"she looks from Jack and Liv,who are Irish twins to look for me"Amy,did Kat leave for practice yet,i really want her to meat them"she says"I'm right here"I say,my Russian accent shining through just a little bit.the couple look at my gear and I say"I'm a professional skater,I'm traing for sectionals"they nod and we talk for a little while and soon the man,who's name I learnt was Jared padalekie,says "we'd like to adopt Kat"
