♣♠♥Chapter 5♣♠♥
"Damn is that really her? I thought you were kidding about the nice body.."
I punched Calum right in the arm, making him whine in pain and cringe back,"Ow!! What the hell.."
"Back off Hood.." I growled playfully, turning my gaze back to Victoria's now beautifully spinning body.
Calum scoffed while rubbing his arm,"Her hair's a bit messed up though. And she's got too many freckles for my taste. Not that I don't like redheads, and I-"
"Calum.." I warned him, turning to him with a glare.
He backed off and laughed, shaking his head,"Easy Luke...Geez I compliment her and you hit me and I say that about her and you're about to hit me again..you are crazy about her huh?"
I leaned forward a little, getting a better view from the front window. I didn't answer Calum. Instead I stayed in Luke La La Land, sure that I was grinning like a dork when I saw Victoria almost trip but caught herself on the beam. Her smile was breathtaking. She shared it with everyone else, and it was obvious her smile was contagious.
I bit my bottom lip, rolling in the lip ring and tasting metal. I didn't mind it though.
"Wow.." I sighed, completely oblivious to the world. To me, and right now, Victoria was all i could think about.
"Well...are you gonna grow a pair and waltz in there to ask her out, or am I gonna have to throw you through this window and ask her for you?" Calum asked with a smirk and nudge of my shoulder. He is such an ass, but I love him.
I chuckled deeply to myself, shrugging my shoulders,"I'm not sure yet Cal."
"You better think quicker, those girls are gonna think we're creeps if we stand here too long.." He patted my shoulder, bending down to grab his skateboard that rested by his feet. I glanced down at him before looking back at the girls who had now crowded around each other. Victoria was now out of my field of vision.
I heaved a sigh and nodded slowly, dropping my head down to see my board in my hand. Calum dropped his and pushed off. "C'mon Luke! Ash and Michael are waiting for us!"
"Yeah alright.." I nodded, waiting until he was a bit ahead of me before I dropped my board to the concrete. Calum pushed a few meters ahead of me while I stood there and watched. A weird pull had glued me to the concrete. I wasn't sure if it was my consciousness screaming: Stop being a pussy and walk in there!!" or just an odd and unexplainable force holding me back. I ruled the last one out.
I took a glance at Calum, who hadn't noticed I was lagging behind, and then turned to face the sudio doorstep. All i was really accomplishing was confirming that the door was see through, and the frame was red. Great waste of your time Luke.
As if my brain was actually controlling me, and not my consciousness, I stepped onto the first step, and then the other, and I now found myself standing righ in front of the door. I took a deep breath, looked at the crowd of girls that were loitering around in an attempt to see Victoria--as if seeing her would calm my nerves--and grabbed a hold of the handle. The door made a ringing sound as I pushed it open.

Wanda's disapproving eyes wandered over to Victoria, looking her over. Victoria didn't know what she did wrong, or why Wanda even cared.. Aside from the fact that they all needed to get the routine down to head to the stage in a few weeks.
She sighed, leaning against the beam. She wished Amelia would hurry up and come back from the bathroom already.
As she bent down to pick up a half full water bottle, a few girls crowded around her. She smiled at them. "Hey guys!" She recognized them as Aleisha, Cho, Donna and Zayden. They were beautiful girls, girls who had flawless skin unlike Victoria's pale and freckled skin. Their skin was varied since they had different origins. She really admired Cho's long black and perfect hair, along with Zayden's perfect button nose and big brown eyes. Everything about them was perfect.
"Hey Vicky!" Cho exclaimed. Victoria admired her cute enthusiasm too.
"What did you think of that new twirl the old lady made us do?" Aleisha asked, crossing her arms as Zayden beside her glanced out the window. Donna rolled her shining blue eyes,"It was easy Aleisha...did you do those stretches she told us to do before we started?"
"Guys we've been practicing for months, shouldn't you be stretched out already?" Cho asked softly, looking between the group of girls that included Victoria. She smiled as she took a sip of water.
"Yeah, she's 'stretched out'" A lower, male voice said from behind Donna. Everyone besides her giggled, seeing Kenton creep up behind her.
"Kenton Davis I swear to God if you scare me one more time..." Donna whirled around to meet his charming eyes.
He smirked,"What? You'll ruin my sexy leotard? I know you want to dear, but I play for a different team you know.." The whole group burst into laughs as the two backed out of the conversation.
"So Vicky, are you coming to Amelia's soiree at her parent's house?"
"Zay, of course she is! Amelia's like her best friend. Jesus if you weren't black I'd say you were a natural blonde.." Alleisha smirked at her as Zayden sighed, flipping her hair even though it was still up in a bun.
The group of girls laughed again, and Victoria answered her question,"Yes I am, are you bringing Freddie Zay?" This question made Zayden blush, and all the girls made sure to point it out by giggling or pinching her pretty cheeks.
For a second, Victoria zoned out on her reply and intently listened to the group next to hers. Giggles and small, distinct whispers amde it hard to comprehend but Victoria managed.
"Did you see those two boys by the window a few minutes ago? They were totally checking out Ann's ass..."
"What? No I saw those guys. They were pretty cute..."
"Whatever, they looked like rough bad boy punks. I wouldn't waste my time on them. Besides, we were practicing."
"Oohhh did you see the tall blonde one? Jesus Christ he even had a lip ring..."
"Ewww seriously? He's that kind of a guy huh?"
"Shut up Nancy, you're just jealous you didn't see him.."
Pictures started forming in Victoria's mind. The blonde hair that was styled up perfectly, a handsome face with blue eyes connected to it. Funny, they didn't mention his eye color.
"I agree with Nancy. Boys like those are so immature and low...they're not worth even looking at."
A bell noise caught Victoria's attention, but she couldn't see the door because of the group of girls she was eavesdropping on were standing well in the way.
A piercing, girly squeal made Victoria wince.
"OH my god!! Look! He's coming in here!!"
Victoria desperately tried to see by standing on her tiptoes, but Nancy was just an inch too tall. She glimpsed Mrs. Remata pass in front of her and walk to the door, and then heard her voice shortly after.
"Can I help you boy?"
That's when Victoria spit out her full mouth full of water. Bad time to be drinking.
"Yes, uh...I'm looking for a Miss Victoria? Is she here?"
The group of girls squealed at Victoria's sudden burst. They giggled, and some stared at her in shock, but the event made the group of girls part, and bright blue eyes met Victoria's deep brown. She knew those sharp ocean blue pupils anywhere, even though she only saw him in a club from last night. It was a memorable night.
Luke offered her a small wave, resulting in her cheeks flushing and the remaining water drip from her lips. More giggles erupted.
"Thanks Miss.."
Her face started burning as red as her locks of hair that she just noticed were hanging loosely from her--used to be nice looking--bun. She dropped her bottle and pretended that a tall hottie with a cute lip ring wasn't walking towards her, pushing her strands of loose hair back. The girls backed off as Luke stepped forward until he was now standing smugly in front of her. She was still averting his gaze, tucking and untucking the loose strands.
Luke's laugh made her insides fly,"Uh..excuse me?"
She glanced him before bending down to pick up her bottle. Luke chuckled at her silent response.
Luke mumbled,"Baby doll it's me. Luke? The cutie with the lip ring?"
Victoria tried her very ginger best to hold back from smiling. When she finally cracked, Luke did too. "You do remember me then.."
Victoria did a quick look around to see that most people had went back to their own buisness before answering him, daring to look up at his eyes that she swore were the most beautiful set of aquamarine gems. "Of course I do.."
Luke smirked,"Good. So, you weren't lying about the whole ballet thing.."
Victoria took the time to nod and look down shyly to not let Luke see that her hair color had reached her cheeks. She waited for Luke to speak, which seemed like forever. She couldn't believe he was actually here, standing in front of her, specifically asking for her.
"You're a lot shyer in public.."
She looked up to see his owering figure edge closer to her, making her look up. The butterflies had been let loose. She giggled and covered her mouth to hide it. "Sorry. I didn't exactly expect to see you here.."
"Yeah...well..me and my friend was just passing by...and I..saw you and I...uh.."
Victoria didn't even hesitate in smiling when she saw Luke's sly confidence wither away like a tree's leaves in the winter. She smirked, raising an eyebrow as she set a hand on her hip. She watched his nervousness grow, taking in his blushing and awkward stature. "Yes?"
Luke breathed out a laugh, looking everywhere but at her. "I was..you know..thinking..."
"About?" She dragged on, stepping just a little closer to her, shifting her weight onto her other foor to close the distance just a tad.
She watched Luke swallow the hard lump in his throat before he cleared it. He put a smile on his face, but Victoria saw through it and knew he was still super nervous, his neck rubbing only proved her point.
"I was thinking if you....wanted to..go..out? Out with m-me?" He stuttered, seemiing surprised he did so.
Victoria let out a soft laugh. She could watch him stumble around his words for hours and never get bored. He was the cutest. She smiled at him, making it as genuine and happy as she could without it being too obvious she was overjoyed. "I'd love to Luke.."
His face lit up like a Chirstmas tree, his blue pupils were dilated and a large smile spread across his lips. "Wow..uh..thanks? Nonono...I-i mean..uh..I-i'll pick you up uh..later? No..uh..maybe.."
Victoria took the liberty of shutting him up with a kiss on the cheek. She whispered to him,"Pick me up at my place. 10 o clock sound good?"
They're faces were insanely close, almost close enough for skin to touch skin. She was almost aching for him to brush his smooth skin on hers.
Luke nodded, finally with a happy smile, putting a hand on the spot where her lips touched. "Sounds great...I'll see you then.."
