SooooOOoooo a couple days ago I had you guys tell me which characters you wanted to see me release the beta drawings of.  Here were the results:

1. Layra

2. Valerie and Verity

So that's the order I'll release the drawings in.  I'm going to go from top to bottom, and if I reach the limit then.. rip.

AND since he is not getting his original beta drawing posted, Heliux is going to react with me.  Well, more like he's going to laugh at me.

Heliux: Probably.

Anyway, here is the very first drawing of Layra I ever did:

You can tell this shit is old because my old username is on it.

Heliux: And you said you could draw?

SHUT UP I KNOW THIS IS TERRIBLE.  Probably because I still didn't know how to draw at that point.  Also because I didn't know what Layra was supposed to look like- because her eyes are fucking pink?????

Heliux: Wait, her wings.  Why aren't they dark?

Actually... I have no clue.  But here's the next one.

Heliux: That isn't even a full drawing... but at least you got her wings right in this.

Heliux: Alright, I'll credit you with the fact that this does not look half bad... except why are her eyes so big????

I DON'T FUCKING KNOW!!!  Poor Layra.

Heliux: Again with the eyes.  How do you not know how to draw your own characters Ms. Khallows?

Honestly idk.  Idk what this design was either... but this was the last one before her actual design:

Yeah so I went through a major phase of not knowing how to draw my own fucking OC but I'm glad that is over now.

Heliux: ... me as well.

Anyway, we'll proceed with the Valerie drawings:

Even though this was not the design I ended with, this is one of my favourite drawings of Val.  It was even my first drawing of her.. ever.

... and it goes to shit again.

Her face looks slightly better in this one but what the fUCK is up with her dress.  And I think I made her hair more of an orange-brown than a red-brown which I don't like.  No wonder why I scrapped this.

Okay truth be told this one was her actual design for a long time... but how the fuck did I forget to draw eyebrows???  Can someone explain this to me???

Also, Heliux, you've been kinda quiet.

Heliux: So?

Your daughter is very beautiful.

Heliux: ... hmph.  These drawings do not do her justice.

Exactly.  Why do you think I scrapped them?

Okay I like the skirt in this one, but I put the waist band WAY too low.

But that was the last beta, because I drew this:

And thank goodness I did because my brain would've exploded if this one didn't work out.

Heliux: Verity is next right?

Yes.

So CLEARLY at that point I had no idea what I wanted her to look like because this design just looks... bleh.

Heliux: I strongly agree with you.  Thank goodness you didn't stick with it.

Heliux: This one is... actually, not bad.  Why did you get rid of it?

I kept this one for a while until I realize that Verity isn't the kind of girl to wear a dress.  It fits her more to wear a romper, which is why I ended up going with the design below.

I also made her hair from black to brown because when I looked it up, Ash and Serena are only capable of having brown-haired children... so yeah.

Heliux: Why are her hands so small?

SHUT UP HELIUX I STILL CANNOT DRAW HANDS AT LEAST I WAS TRYING SKDFJSKDFJK

Heliux: ... calm down.

Heliux: ... take that back.

Heliux: *sigh* Just post August's drawings?

Heliux: Why does he have... that expression?

IDK I was going through a drawing phase okay!?

Lol but I do have a nickname for this one because of the expression.  I call this version of him Sexy August.

Heliux: ... I'm going to pretend I did not hear that and insert the next drawing.

So this was the drawing of August I had for a long while, until I wanted to freshen up his look a bit into:

Heliux: It does.
