Hi everyone!  It certainly has been a while since I've posted here.  I've been semi-active on Tumblr (if posts coming out once a week even count as active lmao), but I thought I'd give you guys an update on what I've been working on during the past couple months, and what my (tentative) plans are for the future.

The world-building for the book is.. I wanna say 95% complete.  Takes a while but I REALLY love this part of the planning process.  There is still a tiny bit of stuff to add to further spice up the book, but the fundamentals are there.

Most of the characters are pretty much solidified and complete.  There are, however, some key character stories that are integral to the main plot that I still need to get down.  As for designs, that part still needs work, mostly because A) school leaves me with barely any time to create art and B) full-body sketches take too much energy out of me.  I only have solidified designs (with colour) for only a chunk of the main cast, but I do have rough ideas on what everyone will look like (and for now, that's good enough for writing purposes).

Now for the actual plot XD.  I have the major plot points figured out, I have a beginning and an end, now I'm just trying to figure out how to connect those plot points together in a way that isn't too slow or fast-paced yet shows a significant amount of development (for both the plot and characters).  Like I did with The Fairy's Cure and The Fairy's Poison, I've started writing out a full plot summary of everything that will happen.  It's currently sitting at 8.4K words with about... I wanna say 15% of the book being written.  

(Note that my entire planning document, which includes the giant plot summary, is sitting at 59 pages and growing ._."... and 40 pages of it is character stuff / worldbuilding / lore.  Send help)

So that's what I've been up to.  I used my winter break as productively as I could, but I do return to school this upcoming Monday.  

My plan for now is to prioritize writing that full plot summary and finishing it.  I can go back and tweak it as I see fit before I start the actual writing, fix any plot holes that I see or clean up some stuff- editing at the bare stages.  Obviously I won't catch everything but I'll hopefully get the major stuff.  I'm then going to write a chapter summary (not as detailed as the full plot summary lol) just like I did for both TFC and TFP, which is why I need to finish the full plot summary as I'd need to use that as a guide.  Then, and only then, will I start to write the first chapters. :D

Actually starting the writing is still a while away, but I'm realizing that I'm a lot closer to it than I thought I was.  Which is exciting, at least for me lmao.

Anyway, that's all I've got to tell you guys now.  The main point I was trying to get across is that I have made progress, but there's a lot more progress that I need to make before writing the first draft.  Right now, I like to think that I'm writing draft zero. XD

I will update you guys every once and a while- though it'll be a few months because, like I said, school.  Hopefully I'll be able to find the time to write (and praying that writer's block doesn't get the best of me...)
