Hey guys!!  And gals of course.

Quarantine has made me pretty bored.  I'm assuming it's the same for all of you guys too.  Although I do start online school on Monday, so.. *insert heavy sarcasm here* yay.

Anyway I've spent some time drawing stuff.  And I decided to compare the way I draw now to the way I drew three years ago, when I first got into digital art.  I'll be critiquing myself too (why I decided to do this I have no idea, so let's just roll with it).

Yep, today we're Miraculous 100%.

So I guess we'll start with the pics I drew three years ago.  These are... they are pretty terrible lmao.  Probably because it's the first time I ever drew these two.

First, here is the very first time I drew Ladybug.  

I don't know why I wanted to watermark this, no one would ever steal it because it's pretty... er, rough.  The outline is messy, the colouring is messy, everything is just messy.  The proportions are also WAY off (why is her neck that small????).  For a first attempt I don't think it's that bad, even though it IS bad, but I still could've done better.  I do like how I did the shading on the mask and suit tho (although I used a tool for this); I just wish I could've done so on her hair.

Moving on!!

Next up is the first time I ever drew Chat Noir.  If you thought the last one was rough, well...

Yeah I warned you.

My critiques are similar to the last one.  But most of all I just hate how I drew his hair.  IT'S NOT DROOPY!!!  IT'S FLUFFY!!!  LIKE A KITTEN!!!!!!!  Clearly 13-year-old me did not understand this.

Side note: wow, I've been a part of the Miraculous fandom for three years now.  Time sure passes by quickly.

So... now that brings me to today's drawing.  Yes, I did actually draw this all today.  Everything, including the background as well (though I drew the background before today- I was tired, okay!?), was drawn by me.

Actually, let me do this first.  Set the mood.  (Sorry for building it up, I'm just really proud of this drawing).

"Marinette, you wanted to meet me here?" Chat asked, hopping off of his staff. 

Ladybug nodded.  "I did, Adrien."

They remained silent for a few seconds, the sunlight beating upon them.  This wasn't the famous Love Lock Bridge they were standing on, but it still produced a beautiful view of the sun reflecting on the peaceful river below them.  

The slight breeze wove through their hair, waving Marinette's pigtails back and forth, her ribbons along with them.  Chat smiled wistfully.  Boy, does my Lady sure look beautiful today.

"I've waited so long," she said suddenly, causing Chat to turn around and look at her.  She turned to him, showing him a smile that was brighter than the sun itself.

"I've waited so long for this moment," she told him.  "HawkMoth is finally defeated.  Which means..."

She clasped his hand, and he knew what she meant instantly.

"We can finally be together," Chat said, his eyes watery.  "We can finally... be together."

Ladybug nodded heartfully and pulled him close.  They shared a warm embrace, then they pulled apart.  

"Come," she said, beginning to lead him off the bridge.  "I saw Andre's cart.  Let's get some ice cream!"

Chat nodded, the sun still beating down on them as their tears still fell.

And I hope you enjoyed that little excerpt!  I was in the mood for some Ladynoir fluff (*'꒳'*) 

So... yeah!!  Final product.  

As for the time, it took me roughly four hours.  Four hours well spent, I say.

The hardest part to do was honestly colouring Chat's hair.  It's so spiky with tiny ends so that was annoying.  

The most enjoyable part for me to do was honestly the shading.  I find it's a really cool transformation to see something go from flat to having dimension.  It's definitely very satisfying \(-w- )/

Anyway that's my attempt at some Ladynoir fanart.  Looking back at the first time I drew these two, in comparison to now, I'd say that I have improved a lot, no?

Fun fact: I only have two digital drawings of Chat, both of which are in this part.  The only other times when I've drawn Chat are in doodles during class.  Sorry Chat, it's just that Ladybug is easier to draw.. (;'・')>
