Okay so I'm actually excited because I MIGHT BE RELEASING AN ORIGINAL NOVEL THAT I WOULD ACTUALLY BE PROUD OF TO WRITE???  WHAT????  CRAZY RIGHT!?

Because people seem to like it when you appear in these updates and you're going to be in the book.  Well, you, Layra, and Valerie.

Heliux: Excuse me but what!?

Okay okay I'll get there.  Hold on.

I guess I should tell you guys what this book is about, and more about it... but first, my plan.

So I'm going to graduate soon and I'm gonna be realistic about things, I know once I go to uni my time on Wattpad is gonna start to go down and down until I officially leave the platform (don't worry I don't plan on deleting the account, I just won't be active anymore).  I'll probably be gone once I graduate university (or not, idk, the universe works in strange ways) but ANYWAY.  That's a long time from now so let's not focus on it.

What I was TRYING to say is that I've been thinking about things I'd like to do before I leave the platform.

The first thing I want to do is finish The Fairy's Poison.  That has been and will be my primary goal.  

The second thing I want to do is complete an original novel that I'm actually proud of (A World of Her Own does not count because I hate it, more on that later).

I also wanted to finish Hearts of Gods and its sequel which would include my Miraculous OCs (you saw art of them in the last chapter) but to be honest, I don't think I will ever republish Hearts of Gods again.

Why?

Well my fanfiction battery is running low and I don't have a charger for it.  I can picture little scenes in my head (albeit mostly G/T lmao) but not full stories anymore.  I don't have the energy to come up with the plot nor the inspiration to write it.  If I'm to write something I want it to be fun for me to write, because I do this on my free time and it's something that's supposed to be relaxing and something that I can use to get away from the world.  If a book can't do that for me, then I'm not gonna write it.

Yes I am very disappointed in myself that I won't be able to complete that Miraculous work (I developed it for so long but the inspiration is just not there), but what can I do?  It would take me YEARS to complete the series and that's too much of a commitment for me.

Alas, I think I'm ready to admit to you all that the Miracle Gods Duology might be dead.

Heliux: So you lead everyone on for months just to say this?

ANYWAY.

So, if I'm not publishing that after TFP, what am I doing?

An original novel, that's what.

And nope, it's not Lands of Flowers of Ice or I-forget-the-title (the fantasy / romance novels I think I talked about in a previous part?)

It is a shiny-brand-new novel that I've began developing recently... but that's not the kicker.

Anyway.  This will be special to all of you that HAVE read the Fairy Duology... because this book is about faeries.  (Yes, spelled differently, because I'm going to use the traditional spelling in that book).

Essentially, it is a little bit of an alternate universe to the current Colony, but I made A LOT of changes so things make a lot more sense.  Because let's be honest, the Colony in TFC/TFP doesn't always make sense.  Why?  I made it when I was 13/14 and a lot of it went over my head.. but things have changed.

Here are a few things I can tell you about the book:

1. This novel is a combination of the fantasy and romance genres... but mainly fantasy which will suck for Wattpad's algorithm.

2. The main protagonist is an adorable fairy named [SPOILER REDACTED]- 

Heliux.. *sigh*

*sigh* Anyway.

3. The main pairing is LGBTQIA+. :D

4. There will be some G/T in the novel and it will be absolutely adorable, trust me.

5. Like I said earlier, Heliux, Layra, and Valerie will appear in the book.  I thought they should get a chance to appear because they deserve to appear in a work that isn't fanfiction... and, now that I think about it, I could insert my two Miraculous-now-not-going-to-be-published OCs too.... that's a good idea.

Heliux: Will Layra and I appear more than once?

I can't say, because I barely have any plot figured out.  But I can say for sure that while Valerie is a close friend of the protagonist, she's NOT a protagonist.  She's a side character and will be treated as such.

Heliux: I see.  So, like Layra and I.

Yes, kind of.

6. I CHANGED SO MANY THINGS ABOUT THE COLONY!!!  But they are all good changes and I think everything's really cool.  I'll reveal one change to you now... instead of one Colony, there's 12.

Okay so that's all I'm going to say for now, but before it becomes published and once I have much more plot for it I might do a small Q&A with our protagonist so you can ask him questions about the novel and about the faeries.

Yes I hand-drew everything, even the background.  For this book I wanted everything to be my own and I think it came out okay?

With a lot of books I say that I'm probably never gonna publish them.  But this one's different.  I'm working hard and once TFP is over, I hope to have it out soon!
