Wow it's been a while since I posted something in here...

Anyway, I'll cut right to the chase..

I've been experiencing lots of writer's block with Hearts of Gods.  The next chapter I have to write is an akuma fight sequence and you know me and action: I hate it.  So it's a combination of me not having inspiration to write it, me not knowing how to write it, and me not having time to write it.

I've started writing chapters ahead of time and I quite like it- it means that I can edit the chapters before publishing to (hopefully) get rid of any grammatical or stylistic errors.  I like to have a certain amount of "reserve" chapters and Hearts of Gods has gotten too low considering I'm not writing in it.

I already postponed last week's update and I'm sorry, I didn't have any time then and I still don't now.  You writers out there should know that writing chapters takes A LOT quicker when you actually have inspiration to write.  I just don't have that, nor do I have the time.

So, in short, Hearts of Gods is now on hold.

HOWEVER!

It is NOT on hold indefinitely!

I'll give a little explanation.

This year because of a certain global situation my school has been divided into four semesters (quadmesters) instead of two.  My first quad finishes next week and I get a PA day that week too (I know, lucky) so that entire weekend I should hopefully be able to pull together a chapter.  Plus, in my next quad is a spare period (so I only have one course), which means I should theoretically have more time on my hands.  

So, what am I saying?

Updates for Hearts of Gods will commence once more starting on November 18th, 2020.  THIS IS PROVIDING THAT EVERYTHING GOES SMOOTHLY!  I will be sure to update you all if things change. :)

So I bet you're thinking "SK, come on, you've got to give us something to make up for it."

Well, I technically don't have to give you anything.

Too bad I'm so nice. 

I wasn't planning on saying this now because I'm still not sure, but here it goes.

SooooooOOOOOOOOoooooo I might be releasing a oneshot book come this Christmas.

If you're wondering if it'll be a Christmas Oneshot Book (like my old 2018 one.. yeesh that thing's old), no.  I was just planning to release it around Xmas, if I do.  

It will be a G/T Oneshot book.

Yes as the cover says there'll be many with original characters but also a large variety of fandom characters too.

Will there be fluff?  Yes.  Will there be angst?  Yes (I can confirm- I've already written some :3).  Will it be awesome?  Hopefully.

I've been in love with G/T since I was a kid and honestly I've always wished I had more G/T content up on my profile... especially since many fandoms' G/T department is a literal ghost town.

Like seriously.  Searching for Ash/Serena G/T stories on the internet?  I searched it up.  ONLY THE CURSE OF ESPEON AND UMBREON SHOWS UP!!  Seriously!?  I've found like one or two more but there's a serious lack.

At least Miraculous has a lot more G/T content, and so does Undertale.  

Ace Attorney, Black Butler (with the exception of TheLittleDove she writes AMAZING Black Butler G/T!!!!), and Glee also seem to avoid G/T like the plague.  Like come on I just want more G/T Klaine why is there only one fanfic that is discontinued and Klaine is in only half of the chapters... why

So yes I am doing my civic duty and publishing a G/T oneshot book with these fandoms and my ships because goddammit I need some comfort stories and if the internet isn't going to supply me with them, then I have to do it myself I guess.

But um, this isn't a sure thing yet, like I said.  I really want to, but just remember that it has to fit into my schedule.  Updates would not be scheduled- they'd be random, a.k.a. whenever I actually have time to write.  I'll leave requests open, but it might (probably will) take me a while to fulfill a request just because of TFP and HOG- they're my actual stories and have scheduled updates, as you know.

So um, yeah.  Here's an excerpt from my Klaine short series in there:

"Thank you," Kurt breathes out, snuggling into the crook of Blaine's neck. Perhaps there's one perk to being tiny after all. He feels safe when he does that, and luckily his giant boyfriend doesn't seem to protest. "Blaine?" he murmurs.

"Yeah?"

"You... you won't leave, right? Can you stay?"

Blaine knows the symbolism behind Kurt's words. "I'm not going anywhere, not now, not ever," he promises the tiny Kurt. He only smiles more when Kurt continues to snuggle with him. Why is he so adorable when he's only three inches tall?

"Thank you," Kurt says, still sounding a little tearful. Then Blaine hears sobs and feels a slight warmth from the tears being cried into his neck. "Thank you so much, Blaine."

Kurt is seriously going to snap Blaine's heartstrings. "Aww, it's okay Honey, please don't cry," he says, trying to soothe Kurt with a finger. However, because Blaine can't see Kurt's face, Kurt's smile, he doesn't realize that they are happy tears, and not sad ones.

Yeah I am kind of obsessed with Klaine at the moment, don't judge.  They are just so cute aah-

Also yes I know a lot of my followers are Pokemon and Miraculous fans so I'd write that too- although I admit that I'm growing kind of distant from the Pokemon fandom.  Don't get me wrong, I still love the franchise, I've just been growing away from it.  I guess it's just growing up, I suppose.

So yeah, that's it I guess.

Two things to take away from this:

1. Hearts of Gods is on hold until November 18th.

2. G/T Oneshot and Short Series book potentially coming out this December.  

3. Who would (honestly) read the oneshots in that book, when I have it posted?

4. Um.  Well I guess I'm typing in list format now.
