Facts: like in original Marbel Hornets, they believed Slenderman was evil at first, because a friend of theirs went missing and the person they saw with him was Slenderman.

(Rest is made up) Slenderman at the time just left Zalgo's crew and became a hero (along side with Mr Gold and Walten)and trying to protect the humans from Zalgo, but some of the pastas that still were with Zalgo need saving, and the Ancient Ones (at that time were the Chosen Ones) needed help, so Slenderman turn to Hoodie and Masky for help and he made them his first proxies/guardians.
