final note
Hello hello my favorite humans! I have decided to put this poetry book to an end.
Writing this had always been my favorite, a clear manifestation of my fifteen-year-old self and how I used to spill ideas onto pages. Wattpad of all places, is where I've had my utterly amazing firsts—where I've first chosen to write.
Sixty-Four Crayons to be exact is a first that I'd completely gotten an edge on writing. Being a first nor a poetry collection doesn't make it a downfall. In a nutshell, it's that book from your childhood you'd open with a different story every time you do.
It's not a once a upon a dream nor a happily ever after, because what I've happened to write is the many truths and if anything, it's all too real.
Just by reading this you'd know with all my grateful heart how much I want the world to see this.
I revised our little old memory lane into something more than a mouthful of gingerbread, something much more meaningful.
This poetry collection speaks for and of all the world's inequalities, but most importantly how we should put these to an end.
Always remember that as broken as you are, you'll always mend. 'Cause like broken crayons, we too still color. I hope you enjoyed the ride. I love you all too well.
hugs and cheers to our childhood,
dilagmakata
