My life was just great ever since Renea and I had become friends. We would work together to keep my secret from the world. I had met a few of her friends but didn't get close with any of them. 

Things were going well. That was until Renea came to me with bad news. "I'm moving." She said simply, getting right into it. "I'm really sorry."

I thought about it for a second. What was I going to do without her? Then I thought of it. "What-what if I came with? I'm too close to my old home anyway and I've been here too long!" I suggested. 

She looked unsure. "Well...how would you get there?" She asked.

I had to think for a second before I came up with something. "You could offer to drive your parent car since they have to drive the moving truck, that way they won't  have to hire someone. You have a license, I could sneak and hide in the back." I explained. 

"Well..." She stopped for a second, I held my breath."You know what, let's do it!"

Starting that moment, we put our plan into action. Renea asked her parents and they said yes. We left three days later.

I was glad to leave but also sad. This was where I first ran away too. I made my first friend. This town was great but it was time to move on.

Her parents were in the truck and everything was going as plan.  Her parents took off just as I jumped in the back of their car.

"Ready to go?" Renea asked.

"Ready as ever." I smiled. This was going to be awesome.

It was about thirty minutes into the drive when we both got bored. "What do you want to do?" I asked.

"I don't know." She kept her eyes on the road. 

"I'm bored," I complained.

"Same here."

"Then let's do something."

"What? There's nothing to do and I'm driving!" 

"Fine." We didn't talk for a few minutes before I turned on the radio and my favorite song started to play.

"I love this song." I heard Renea say over the music as she sang along.

"I love it too!" We both sang along.

After the song, we just asked each other a bunch of questions and we really got to know each other. It was a nice drive. For the next four days, we continued to learn more about each other. It was nice until the last day. We were both tired and just wanted to get to her new home.

We just argued over everything but at the end of the day we made up. We watched the town as we drove into the new city. It looks fine from the outside. I was just excited to get out of the car.
