Nngh... What... What is that noise...? ... I can't see anything... And I can't move. Ohhh my head hurts...

Crack

That's a bit better... I can feel my arm again... But the rest of me is still stuck. I can't even move my mouth or open my eyes. Okay Vikk... Concentrate...

Crrrrraccckk

Just... A little more...

CRACK

Just like that, all movement returns to my body. I slowly curl my fingers, finding the sensation strange. Which in all honestly is pretty odd seeing as simply moving my fingers shouldn't be such a challenge. But it feels like I haven't moved for ages. The air surrounding me in the darkness is damp and freezing, sending a shiver down my spine. I panic for a moment, fearing I've gone blind, but force myself to stay calm. I still my shaking body, and ever so slowly do my eyes begin to adjust to the darkness. Although still frustratingly black, I can pick out the rugged blocky terrain of some sort of sloppily built hall. Gently kneeling down I brush my hand over the smooth texture of the ground, taking a guess that it must be stone. Which means this 'sloppily built hall' is actually a cave.

"Hello...? Can anyone hear me?" I call out, my voice echoing back in an eerie manor.

The hiss of an unseen spider brings reality slapping me in the face. I'm standing in an unknown cave system, in complete darkness, with absolutely no weapon to defend myself from the horrifying mobs, and not a single other person in sight. My breathing falls uneven due to fear, and I find myself spinning frantically around to try and determine where I am. I try to scramble backwards, but stumble on some loose rocks and trip backwards. Pain momentarily shoots through me as I make impact with the hard ground, and I desperately scoot backwards until my back meets the cave wall. Panic flooding my mind, and my heart pounding in my chest, the floor seems to sway under my feet. Tears starting to tumble down my cheeks, I curl up into a small ball, trying to disappear from existence as quiet sobs spill from my mouth (quiet as to not draw any lurking mobs nearby).

But as I sit there in the unnerving darkness, it all starts to come back. It's like suddenly I've woken from a trance, and now I can remember everything.

"W-wait..." I sniffle, "Wasn't I turned to stone...? Along with Preston, Jerome, Rob, Mitch, a-and Lachlan...?"

I frown and wipe the salty tears away with the back of my hand. I rub my temples slowly, trying to piece everything together.

"That's right... We defeated Herobrine but got turned to stone..." I recall while slowly pushing myself to my feet. "But why then... Did I come back to life? Shouldn't I still be stone?"

I sigh in frustration, unable to grasp the reasoning for my return. Wiping away the rouge tear that started to trickle down my face I try to make out my surroundings. Ugh I have so many questions... Like how long has it been? Are the others back to normal too? Where even am I? Why am I alive again?

"Okay, first things first. I need to find a way out of this cave." I interrupt myself, deciding that overwhelming myself with questions probably isn't the smartest choice to make.

By now my eyes have adjusted well to the darkness, and I can faintly see that I'm standing in a small space, pathways splitting off to the right and the left of me. The left path seems to slope downwards before veering off and the right one climbs upwards. Okay up is always the way to go when you're lost in a cave.

With that thought I stumble forward, the motion of walking still foreign to me. Who knows how long it's been since I've taken a single step? Cautiously inching towards the right path, I'm pleased to see it does indeed lead up. And hopefully to the surface. I'm actually surprised I haven't run into any mobs yet. I note silently, beginning to trek blindly up the path. But not a minutes later, and the path splits up into two. Both of the new paths continue up.

"Hmm... Left... Or right...? Left or right... Left or right? Ah screw it, right is always right."

And so I begin up the right path, trying to feel my way as the blocks bring me higher and higher. Some time later the ground levels out and turns sharply left. After rounding the corner I freeze up catching movement just ahead of me. Diving back behind the corner I squint through the darkness and try to determine what kinda of mob it is. Although to my surprise, at least from what I can see, it isn't actually mob but rather another player. It's the right height... The right build... It has to be another person. I sigh in relief, my guard dropping as I reveal myself.

"Hey, you over there!" I call out, successfully getting the persons attention as they turn and start to walk towards me. "I'm so glad I actually found another person! My name is Vikk... I was hoping you could help me get out of here." I explain, walking to meet the stranger who is presumably male.

But as I approach, something seems a little bit off. This 'person' seems to be shuffling towards me, arms outstretched in what I thought at first to be a motion of greeting. And with one sniff of the rancid fumes floating towards me, I realize I've made a huge mistake. The zombie stumbles closer, groaning viciously. I screech and jump back as its rotting hand swings forward to try and strike me down. I continue backwards until my back hits the stone wall, and watch paralyzed as the zombie advances upon me. So as the zombie nears striking range once again I do the only thing I can... And club it over the head with my fist.

The zombie moans in pain, stumbling back a few paces but quickly regains its footing and once again shuffles towards me. Instinct seems to take over the situation in the very next second, and I don't even realize what I'm doing. Just as the zombie nears, my arms snap outwards and a loud rumble rings throughout the cave. In a flash multiple spikes made entirely of stone and ores split through the ground and plunge directly through the zombie. The zombie doesn't even have time to let out a pained cry before its impaled with a pillar of stone and falling limp before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

I stand there shaking violently with my arms still outstretched, staring dumbfounded at the piece of rotten flesh spinning on the ground. I shake my head and recollect myself, yet still breathe heavily as I bend down and scoop up the piece of flesh. The putrid smell that wafts past my nose almost makes me puke, and I mentally vow to only eat is as a very last resort. Eyeing down the spike that I had created from the ground, by simply lashing out my arms, another memories clicks in my brain.

"That's right... We had powers didn't we?" I state, although the tone seems more like a question. "And we used them to defeat Herobrine. Each of us had one elemental and one ability if I recall correctly..." I continue, staring at the spike, "And judging by this mine is earth. So then... Now I've gotta figure out my ability."

I attempt to re discover my ability, but fail miserably. I try lashing out my arms, chanting random words, thinking about the use of my ability, and the like but nothing changes. That is, until, the rattle of bones echoes behind me.

I whip around just in time to see an arrow whizzing towards my head. In the blink of an eye some sort of signal in my brain activates and everything passes by in slow motion. The arrows quick spinning slows, and it's flight through the air slows down so much it gives the illusion of not moving at all. The skeleton, that was currently lowering its bow, looks as if it's a statue. Only with close inspection can you see the movement of its ivory bones shifting ever so slightly. I easily side step the arrow which is only five blocks away, and the feeling activates again, bringing everything back into its normal speed.

The arrow speeds past and lodges into the opposing wall with such a force its shaft plunges halfway into the stone. Instead of risking my energy in summoning more earth spikes I turn on my heels and dash away. So my ability is slowing down time... Sick. It's not long before the bright daylight starts creeping onto the stone, and before I know it I'm standing right at the caves entrance. I pause my flee and catch my breath, taking in the beautiful sight of the mountain range expanding before me. In the grassy lands below many cows and sheep are peacefully grazing under the welcoming shade of the trees. The sun is at its highest point, smiling down upon every shadow in the land, a big improvement from the dreariness of the cave. Some wild roses grow in a small patch off in the distance, swaying slightly in the light breeze. Rob would love those. I note, thankful that after however long I've been encased in stone, I still have my memories. Well, for the most part that is. I still don't know where the fudge I am... Just that I'm standing near the top of some mountain at the edge of a plains biome.

Suddenly a searing pain is shooting through my head. I shriek and fall to my knees, clutching onto my hair and doubling over. I scream again as the pain increases, and am brought to the ground by the amount of pain. And then suddenly, it all stops. I can't move, I can't open my eyes, but I can hear one thing... That I willingly pause and listen to.

"History shall repeat itself, a day many years away.
When good shall fall, and evil rise,
Times of anger, fear, dismay.

The six heroes of this time, have beaten back the dark.
But a sacrifice, each turned to stone,
Scattered, hidden, unmarked.

Though come the time, the need arise, Six stone souls shall stir.
One shall rise, and he must find,
His friends among the earth.

Down below, you shall find, under oceans blue.
A guarded structure, holding the one,
Who is nearest of you.

The next hero to free, is hidden amongst, trees that touch the sky.
Sealed away, behind cobblestone walls,
On the floor that opposites high.

The next to save, is a tricky one, hidden by walls of brick.
But beware chosen ones, for the man of no eyes,
Resides close with his pick.

The next one you'll find, sealed away in a tomb.
With no trees in sight,
Just dune upon dune.

And the last one to rise, shall be by far the most hard.
Hidden in the lost woods,
In a flower filled yard.

Six fallen heroes untied, shall seal away the force of dark.
By using unique powers,
Do NOT miss your mark.

For six powers combined, shall be strong enough to prevail,
But if only one misses the mark,
Turned back to stone, you shall fail."

With that I'm released from my frozen state, and I groan, rubbing at my aching head. I painstakingly push myself to my feet, standing in one place silently for a few minutes, and trying to make sense of what I just heard.

"So... I guess that means... We're needed again? Has Herobrine actually come back? Huh..." I spin around in a circle trying to catch sight of an ocean. "That... Prophecy? Yeah that prophecy said that one of my friends is in the ocean. And that he's the closest one to me right now. Which means that I need to find an ocean. But how does one know it's the right ocean...? Or even which way to go...? And what does it mean by guarded structure? Argh so many questions."

Huffing in frustration, I begin my descent of the mountain. The whole time questions repeat in my head until there jumbled in a big mess, resulting in me still having zero answers and a throbbing headache. But it's only when I reach the bottom of the mountain do I realize what a guarded structure means.

"He's in a fudging ocean monument."

My answer: I love them all equally but if I absolutely had to choose, I'd say Lachlan
