While Mike was in surgery, Rebecca rushed to the hospital and met up with Micky.

"H-How is he?" She was in tears.

"In surgery right now. They..." Micky looked down. "They don't know if he'll make it."

Rebecca nodded. She pulled a tissue out of her pocket and dabbed at her wet, red eyes.

"Are you..." Micky looked up again, but refused to meet Rebecca's eyes. "Are you going to send him away i-if he survives?"

"No," Rebecca whispered. "It's my fault he even—" she broke down again.

Micky felt tears gather in his eyes and had to look away. He looked at the doors leading to the operating room. Mike was in there.
