"Okay class the project will be due in 2 weeks! I will be checking around to see your progress."

The small teacher made her way around the classroom, discussing projects with students. She finally made her way to Kylo and Rey.

"So how is your project going?"

"Well-"

"Well we built the model but still have to paint it. We are doing it today and the paper needs to go started but we have notes.

Rey lifts up several sheets of paper.

"Good job you two. I'm excited to see what the final result will be. Solo hopefully this girl will turn you around."

Maz then walked away, back to the front of the class.

"I checked with all of you, most of you are on a good path but some will need some guidance. You all have the rest of the class to work on the project. I'm here if you need any help.

Rey turned to Kylo, "Hey Kylo I was wondering, since are project is basically done, maybe we could hang out today instead of painting the ship?"

Kylo was surprised, he never would've expected those words to ever come out of her mouth.

"Yeah sure. That sounds great. We could just paint the ship tomorrow?"

"Yeah. Pick me up after school?"

"Yeah," Rey looked at him and noticed his ears have turned red.

It was cute.

She blushed and turned back to the front.

"Class dismissed! I hope you all good luck on the project! Remember half your grade!"

Ren and Rey dashed out of class for the same reason: they had forgotten to check the audition list yesterday.

"Hey Ren where are you going?"

"To check the audition list. How about you?"

"Same. We could go together?"

"Yeah."

The two made their way towards the bulletin board.

Rey scanned her eyes over the list until she landed on her name:

Juliet Capulet: Rey Kenobi

She got it! She got the part!

Ren looked at the board with anticipation. He found his name:

Romeo Montague: Ben Solo

Then he looked at who was playing Juliet, it was Rey.

"Ren?"

"Rey?"

They turned to face each other in surprise.

"Your Romeo?"

"Your Juliet?"

"Yeah!" They both said at the same time.

Then it dawned on Rey

They were going to play each others love interest

Great.

Lunch breezed by, and surprisingly so did school.

Poe and Finn wouldn't leave her alone about the part she got in the play. She was to be the Juliet to Kylo's Romeo. The idea of that disgusted them.

Rey honestly didn't mind as much.

"Rey! Earth to Rey!"

"Yeah?"

"You were totally zoned out!"

"Sorry..."

"We were trying to ask if you wanted to hang out. We haven't all week! Or are you working on the project with Ren?"

"Actually I'm not..."

"Really? Yay!"

"But...I actually have plans."

"With who?"

"Ren."

Rey then walked off leaving a shocked Finn. She shrugged before making her way to Kylo's car.

"I'm here Solo."

"Okay let's go Kenobi."

Ren started the car and they made their way off.

"Kylo? Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."

"Okay. I love surprises!"

Kylo smiled.

A couple minutes later...

"We are here!"

Rey turned to the window and looked out, it was a park.

"What is this place?'

"You'll see."

Kylo got out of the car after parking and made his way to Rey. He offered his hand.

"Come on."

"Okay."

She put her hand in his and he brought her to a clearing. It was peaceful, shady, and beautiful. The area was covered in trees and flowers. It was beautiful. It was silent before Ren finally spoke.

"This was a place my father used to take me to, when I was a kid. Back when we were close, this was our spot. Now things are different but this place calms me down..."

"It's beautiful here...and so peaceful."

Rey turned to smile at Kylo, he smiled back.

For the next couple of hours they talked. They talked about everything and discovered that they had more in common then they thought.

"Ren, my grandpas calling, I have to go. It was really fun though. We should do this more often. Bye Kylo!"

"Bye Rey!"

She started to walk off before he ran to catch up.

"Rey wait! Let me drive you home!"

"No it's fine, it's fine."

"Come one I insist."

"Okay."

Ren led her back to his car and dropped her home.

"Bye Kylo!"

"Bye!" He waved through the window and smiled at her.

She smiled back.

"Ben! Where were you?"

His parents looked at him concerned and curious.

"Don't tell me you were with Hux!'

"I wasn't!"

"Then where were you?"

"With Rey."

His parents looked shocked and relieved but he didn't let them reply. Kylo had run upstairs before they could see the blush form on his pale face.

Sitting in his bed he looked down at his phone and a paper that lay next to it.

It was her number. Then he did something, Kylo Ren would never do.

He texted her

Hey Rey it's Kylo
What's up?

Her reply surprising cake quickly

Hey Kylo! Today was fun maybe we could hang out more once the projects done? Maybe Finn and Poe could come?

Kylo felt a wave of rage once she mentioned her two friends but he quickly calmed down.

"Ben! Dinner!"

Yeah maybe. I'll see you tomorrow Rey, dinner time

He smiled to himself before making his way downstairs for dinner.
