A girl in her mid twenties was standing beside the big window of her room, staring at the cloudy sky. The loud thundering of clouds and lightening might scare anyone, but she was standing unaffected. Why would she even care ? This heavy storm is nothing as compared to the storm that her life has faced a few minutes ago. Her Heart has been crushed into tiny pieces by that storm, all her dreams are shattered in a single second,
The moment she saw her love with someone else, the moment he said "Whatever we had between us was mere attraction, Anika. Just forget it."

Anika, the girl who never believed in love, whose sole reasons of existence after her mother's death were her father Harshwardhan Malhotra and Sahil, her brother. Then fate played the cruel game with her in the name of love. After that Incident She never wanted anyone to enter her life because she doesn't trust her two rupee fate. Her fate has a never ending enmity with her. Whenever she loved someone from the deepest corner of her heart, her two rupee fate snatched that person from her. First, her parents. Then, she loved her best friend Bhavya more than herself, but she died in an accident. Her father met with an accident and now he was in coma. She loved Shivaay and fate took him away too.

Shivaay and Anika had met a year ago when Anika was organising the wedding of Mr. Rana's son. Shivaay was one of the important guests of Mr. Rana as he was his business partner. Anika, being the clumsy girl, was once again in a mess. The beautiful fairy herself was tangled in the fairy lights. Somehow, freeing herself from the mess Anika moved towards the food counter to look at the food arrangements. Being frustrated because of the lack of attention paid to the work by the other helpers, she was walking like a beautiful hurricane, muttering curses to the poor people. Not paying any attention to the person coming from the opposite direction, resulting in their collision with each other, making them fall on ground. Correction ! making the person fall on the ground, with Anika on top of him with his hands on her petite waist and her hands on his shoulders. In the first meet itself, both of them had casted a spell over each other. After stabling their position, they moved away from each other muttering a sorry.

The sorry thing didn't go well with two people who were looking at the these two. First, a certain, long haired man, Omkara. And second,  a body builder and flirtatious boy Rudra. How could it even go well when THE SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI muttered SORRY for the first time ever in his life.

The two brothers of SSO got a topic to tease their brother and they utilised this opportunity to the fullest. The teasing was, that he has finally got himself a true soulmate and Om and Rudra, a bhabhi. Shivaay didn't stop them and it surprised them more.

The first conversation of Shivaay and Anika happened when the two met at the beachside, late at night. Shivaay was there to release his stress and Anika, to release the pain of being away from her mother. This beach was the only place where Anika could let her tears flow freely. At home, she didn't want to make her father feel sad because of her tears. Shivaay had given her, his handkerchief . First time ever in her life, Anika had let someone come close to her. After sharing the stress of each other's life that day, it became their daily routine. The day they couldn't meet each other, wasn't a day for them. When they became friends from strangers and turned lovers from friends, they had no Idea. In mere six months, the two became each other's solace.

Anika liked Shivaay's unconditional love for his family, especially his brothers. Although she didn't know about Shivaay being The Shivaay Singh oberoi, She knew he is a bussinessman and a successful one. Shivaay liked Anika's brave and bold, yet kind and sweet nature. Her quality of making others laugh, when, her own heart is crying was what made her special in his eyes. Everything was going good, infact perfect but suddenly Shivaay had to go to Paris for the setup of a business project, that too for whole six months. Anika cried thinking that she had to stay away from shivaay. Shivaay didn't know how to console her when he himself knew he would miss her more than anything. Somehow, he assured her that they'll be in touch with each other through video calls and messages.

One month, two months, then three and then four months passed with Shivaay and Anika calling each other daily and talk for hours no matter how busy they were. Then, suddenly something changed. Shivaay started talking less with Anika. He was often busy. He hardly replied to any of her messages, or received her calls. Anika, thought he was busy and due to work load he isn't able to talk to her.

The other two months passed, but these two months were like centuries for Anika. She had hope, that Shivaay would call her once he comes back. Four more months passed but Shivaay didn't call her. She thought, may be his work wasn't finished yet. In the mean time, she got job of the event organiser and Tej's PA in Oberoi Industries. She had organised only three Events, but was loved by Tej and Shakti because of her hard work and bubbly nature. They loved her not only for these two reasons, but also because she was the daughter of their friend. Tej and shakti knew about her being Harsh's daughter but Anika didn't know that they know her father.

Anika, was in Sahil's favorite five star restaurant to bring his favourite Chinese food for him and to give him a surprise. From past one week she was busy in office work so did not get enough time to spend with Sahil. She was going towards her car in the parking lot and that's when she dashed in someone and the food packet fell from her hand. She was going to shout on the person infront of her but she was left speechless. It was SHIVAAY, her
Shivaay. Her eyes started glistened with tears seeing him infront of her after almost a year. As soon as she recovered from the shock, she hugged Shivaay tightly. She was continously blabbering. "Finally, you're back Shivaay. I missed you so much."

"Shivaay baby !" Anika heard someone's voice from behind. She turned around and saw a girl wearing a tight fitting, short dress, high heels and lots of make up on her face. She came towards Shivaay and locked her arms with his and asked, "who's she, Shivaay baby?"

"Nothing Tia, just a friend." Shivaay's reply to the girl made the land skip beneath Anika's feet. FRIEND ? Was she just a friend ? Why isn't he telling her the truth ? Her thoughts were broken by Tia's phone that was ringing. She excused herself and left the place to attend the call.

"Why did you lie to her Shivaay ? Why didn't you tell her who am I ?" Anika asked. "Whatever we had between us was mere attraction, Anika. I've moved on. I think, it's over." was his reply. Anika didn't know what to say, what to do ? She was numb. Her life made a Pappu (Fool) of her once again . But she was also Anika, She wasn't going to show her emotions to a stranger. He was a stranger for her from now on. The moment he said she was just gis friend, he became a stranger. No matter how much she loves him, but she's not going to let herself show him that she's broken. She left from there without saying anything. Ouch ! That hurt Shivaay, but why ? He should be happy that she didn't argue. But here he was standing shocked from her reaction. Tia came back after receiving the call and heard whatever happened and smirked because she wanted Shivaay to be with her and not any other girl.

At night, neither Anika could sleep nor Shivaay. Anika, being an Insomniac, couldn't sleep and today one more reason was added to her sleeplessness and that was Shivaay's words. On the other side, Shivaay wasn't able to sleep. Anika's face was haunting his memories. The look she gave him after he declared they were over, was something he couldn't infer. The look was strange, as we give to some stranger and that hurted him. He knew one thing for sure that he was feeling something in his heart, for Anika. "Is it love ?" his heart quetioned. "No it's not. You're feeling guilty that's it." Shivaay's mind replied to the question shushed his heart.

With these thoughts, Shivaay couldn't sleep and worked whole night. Anika, at last slept after gulping two sleeping pills. She just can't stay awake whole night because of a stranger, atleast that's what she kept telling her heart. She has to pay for her father's treatment, Sahil's education and ofcourse for their overall livelihood. So she has to work and for that, she need to be fresh.

Today Shivaay was coming to office after one year. Now Tej and shakti wanted to take a break from bussiness work, so they decided to leave everything to Shivaay. They were just here to tell about some changes in their current projects to Shivaay.

Tej told him that his PA will guide him about some other details and she will be Shivaay's PA from now on. As Anika was about to enter the CEO's cabin, Shivaay started feeling Anika's presence. His heart could sense her from the very beginning of their friendship and he says "It was just attraction." Who he was trying to make a fool ? The answer is, no one. He's not making fool of anyone but he himself is a fool, innate fool.

Anika entered the cabin with the necessary files and schedule of today for the new boss, about whom she didn't have any idea. She greeted Tej with a beautiful smile and next second, her smile faded seeing Shivaay. She was surprised to see him here. But, she's not a fool. Obviously shivaay is standing here with Tej, so he is her new boss, she guessed. She recovered from her shocked state and greeted Shivaay, professionally, "Good morning, SIR."

Shivaay's state wasn't any different. Infact, he was more shocked to see her there. Shocked as well as happy, "But why ?" His mind questioned. "Because she's your friend." Replied his heart rather sarcastically. But his happiness died the moment she said, "Good morning, sir." Listening the word SIR from her didn't go well with him. He had a habit to hear Shivaay, in her melodious voice. The word sir hurt him as much as he likes to hear his name from her.

Tej introduced Anika and Shivaay and left from there. Without wasting any time, Anika started telling him about his schedule for the day. Not paying any attention to what she was saying, he said, "Anika, I'm sorry for whatever happened between us. But we can be friends and.. "

He was interrupted by Anika's soft tone. "What are you talking about, sir ? I was telling you the schedule and you have a meeting in half an hour So you should now concentrate on that." She said and left without listening anything else.

Her ignorance stabbed him continously. He was brought back from his Anika land by his phone's continous ringing. The caller was Tia. He was not interested in talking to her, all thanks to a girl named Anika. But one thing Shivaay realised from this call was that Tia's call actually never created an impact on him the way Anika's one message, leave about call, used to do. Anika's one call or message could make his heart jump like a kid and flutter like a butterfly.

His phone rang again and he picked it up. "Shivaay baby, lets go for a lunch date. I'm missing you so much baby." Tia said from the other end. Shivaay hanged up the call saying he was busy. Whole day Shivaay tried to talk to Anika, but all in vain. He was dieing to listen to her, to talk to her, but she only maintained distance and talked only if was related to work.

Three days passed like this. Anika never even looked at him if there was no work, leave alone talking. This thing was frustrating him. He tried to convince her to call him by his name but she kept addressing him as Mr. Oberoi or Sir.

A month passed, but there was no change in Anika's behavior. Shivaay tried every possible way to convince her to talk to him, to make her the old Anika But she was way too stubborn than he thought. He literally begged infront of her but she ignored him.

Shivaay was already frustrated by Anika’s ignorance. Deep down his heart he already realised the grave mistake he had done by ignoring Anika and her love. He was trying to concentrate on his work which was next to impossible. Just then Tia came in with her annoying voice. "Shivaay baby !" Tia greeted him in her not so melodious voice. She didn't even care to ask him how he was. She couldn't notice the frown on his face. She kept ranting about her social media status, shopping. Shivaay noticed how she never failed to shos off that she is in a relationship with SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI. He noticed every bit of this girl's actions, that are not out of love but out of liking for his status and money. He still couldn't forget Anika and her caring nature. Anika, the girl who is so selfless that she can't see anyone in pain, not even a stranger. She helps others forgetting her own pain. She used to be there when he needed her. She could notice his happiness or stress. She could read his thoughts even before he says anything and he know that she still does. This girl, Tia is not even a tad bit infront of ANIKA, THE FAIRY.

Tia didn't stop blabbering until Shivaay received a call. As soon as the message of the deal being cancelled was conveyed to Shivaay by his his manager Mishra, Shivaay broke his phone and punched the glass table, breaking it into pieces. His knuckles started bleeding. Tia held his hand but she was careful enough that the drops of blood don't stain her designer dress. She asked him to be calm and get first aid. She said take care and left him there with his bleeding hand, a crying heart and a messed up brain.

Just a minute later Anika entered his cabin to get a file signatured. But she dropped the file as soon as she saw his state. His dishevelled state and his hand bleeding made her forget everything that he did with her. She quickly ran upto him and held his injured hand into hers, without caring about anything else. She kept blabbering that he should be careful, he should control his anger and so on. But everything she was saying, neither she realised nor he heard. He kept staring at her face that was full of concern for him. This girl whom he hurted so much, was crying for his little injury. Anika brought first aid box and started dressing his wound. He hissed in pain when she was applying the ointment. "sorry sorry ! I'll be careful." She said and blew on his wound. "Is it hurting a lot ?" She asked. "Yes, it's hurting a lot. Here." he replied pointing at his heart. Anika looked at him with tears still streaming down her face. For a moment, she was lost in his blue orbs, but realised what she was doing. She realised how badly this man had crushed her heart and now, she was giving him a chance to do that again. She went out of his cabin before he could protest or stop her.

She cried hard after she returned to her home. She had noone with her, no shoulder to cry upon. Ofcourse Sahil was there but she just can't stress that little soul who don't have a slightest idea of what's happening with his didi except for the fact that his didi just cries all the time. Sahil is unable to understand the reason of her miseries afterall she is Anika, the khidkitod girl who is khidkitod in hiding her pain and masking it with a fake smile infront of others.

After that Incident, Anika started to avoid Shivaay as much as possible. Shivaay was hell irritated with this. He decided to confront her finally. He dashed in her cabin and grabbed her wrist. He pinned her to the wall. "Talk to me, Anika." He said in his calm yet angry voice. "Excuse me sir, what are you talking about ?" Anika asked. Listening to the word sir, he lost all his control and tightened his hold on her arms causing her soft skin to be pierced by his nails. She started to wiggle in his hold, she was feeling suffocated. Her tears started flowing like an unstoppable river. "You won't stop making her cry, will you ?" whispered his heart to him. "....." his mind was out of words. He left her suddenly realising that he was hurting her. As he stepped back, Anika's phone rang making her alert. She quickly picked it up praying it to be some good news about her father. But what she heard made the land slip beneath her feet. Her phone fell down and she ran out of the office like a storm. Shivaay kept following her so that she's safe.

Anika came to the city hospital and went to the ward where her father was admitted from last two months. She stood there to wait for the doctor to come out. Shivaay didn't know why she was here ? As soon as doctor came out, Anika literally jumped over him to know about her father's health and her heart wanted to listen that her father is out of coma. But, Anika's wishes were not so easy to be fulfilled by her cruel destiny. The doctor told her that Harshwardhan's condition was deterioting instead of improving and that, he needs an operation to remove the blood clot from his brain.

Anika knew this. Doctors had already told her that but the amount needed for the operation is too much. Twenty Lakhs is not a small amount afterall. She sat on the ground like a lifeless person. Her eyes stopped shedding tears. Shivaay who was shocked listening about Harshwardhan's condition, came to Anika and wrapped his arms around her shoulders to give her the needed strength. Anika was not in a state to feel anything other than his warmth, the thing she wanted badly. She broke down in his embrace and cried terribly.

"How did it happen?" Shivaay asked when her sobs reduced. It was then that Anika realised her position and anger overpowered her. He didn't pick her phone calls or replied to her messages when she needed him the most. From the time he joined the office, Anika kept her emotions locked in her heart. But now, when he was showing his so called care, she wanted to give everything back to him. Still, she controlled herself, still.

She pushed him away from herself and got up to leave. He kept following her like a mad person. Anika came back to her house and was going to lock her room when he entered and locked it. "What are you doing here ? Just go from here." She told him. "Anika why are you not telling me, how did it happen ?" He asked without answering her. "That's none of your business." She said. Shivaay pinned her to the wall and asked her to speak to him.

Anika lost all the patience she was using to hold herself from bursting out at him. She pushed him away from herself with all her might.

"Why the hell do you expect me to share everything with you ? Who the hell you are to me ? Noone, You. Are. No one to me. Where were you ? Where were you when I wanted you ? Where were you when I was calling you, sending messages to you ? Let me tell you. You were busy ignoring someone who was mere an attraction. You know I spent most of my time thinking about you. Whether you're ok or not, have you eaten something or not ? I kept consoling my stupid self that he must be busy and I was right. You were really busy, In ignoring YOUR MERE ATTRACTION. You said we could be friends, right ? No we can't. We can't be anything. A person like you can't be my anything. A person who don't have guts to say anything. It was a mere coincidence that I met you in the restaurant with your NEW LOVE. Otherwise you would have never told me that we are over and I, like a stupid, would have kept telling myself that he must be busy. Now, I don't want anything from you. I don't even want to see your face. Just go from here. Just go !" she poured her frustration out that hit Shivaay like a tsunami. He died with each and every word of hers that was showing hatred for him. She was right. If he wanted to break up, then he should have told her through a call, Atleast she would not have waited for him like a mad person. He gave her pain when she was already suffering so much. But now, he wanted to set everything right. He tried to speak but Anika asked him to leave. When he didn't move, she held his hand, dragged him and ousted him from her room. She closed the door on his face. She ran to the bathroom and stood under the shower to let go all the pain, but as much as she was crying, the pain was increasing.

Shivaay returned home like a lifeless person after hearing the accusations hurled at him by her. But all those accusations were true. He just came to his room to think what to do next. His trance was broken by his brothers' voice who were waiting for him. "You are the one who is responsible for everything Shivaay, you yourself ruined everything." Said om. Shivaay looked at him perplexed but the look on their faces made it clear that they knew everything.

"Bhaiya, you did wrong with Anika didi. She loved you so much. " said rudra in a sad tone.

"Shivaay, you know you lost a precious gem for a roadside stone. She was perfect for you Shivaay but... you destroyed everything. You still have time my brother, get her back or else, you will lose her, for ever." Said Om to put some brain in his stupid brother.

"I know what I have to do, Om. All these days when my Anika wasn't talking to me, I was dieing every minute, because of her ignorance. Her silence kills me, Om. She is my solace and I want her back, I'll win her back Om. I'll apologies. I'll woo her at any cost, even if I have to beg infront of her. I'll win my fairy's heart. " Said Shivaay with determination.

Om smiled and Rudra's happiness knew no bounds when he heard that Anika will be his bhabhi and not the universe shop, Tia. "Thank God ab voh Tia meri Bhabhi nahi banegi. Bada bol rahi thi aaj ki..... " Rudra was stopped by Om, who stomped his foot on Rudra's foot to stop him from telling Shivaay anything.

"What happened, Rudra ? What did She say ?" Asked shivaay about the matter but Om denied it saying it to be something stupid. Shivaay nodded in a yes but he wasn't convinced as it was about his brothers. Om and Rudra left the room. Shivaay called khanna and asked him if anything happened between OmRu and Tia. And what khanna told him was shocking for him. He was once again in a pool of guilt for leaving Anika for a girl like Tia. Anika never tried to keep him away from his brothers. Infact, She rebuked him for Ignoring OmRu's calls for her. And Here, Tia was trying to separate him from his brothers. She was telling his brothers that she'll keep him away from them. How dare she ? Who was she to do that ? He definitely wanted to teach her a lesson.

He went to Tia's home to break all chords with her, those fake chords that were nothing. He was, is and will always be attached to his Anika. As he was about to ring the door bell, he saw the door slightly open. He peeped through the door and the sight made his blood boil. Tia, along with her mother and a young man, were making plans to destroy the Oberois by doing all this drama. He recorded their evil plans and entered the hall making the trio shocked as well as scared. Tia was sweating badly as she is gone now. Shivaay slapped her across her face and called the police to arrest them.
