Shivaay stopped his car infront of the same temple where he had met Anika. His heartbeats were telling him that Anika was near him. They searched the whole temple and finally, he saw her. He couldn't compensate for his sins, he thought because her vulnerable state told him what he has done.

He took slow steps towards her as his eyes were locked with her brown orbs. She was standing still but suddenly she ran towards him. After that, what he remembered was being pushed by her and there she lied, drenched in blood.

Four hours passed, but they got no news about Anika's condition. Nurses kept going in and out of the operation theatre but no-one told them about Anika. The family was informed about Anika's accident and the way she saved Shivaay, again. Their every breathe was sending prayers to the almighty for the safety of Anika.

Shivaay didn't move an inch from the place where Anika's hand got separated from his hand. He hardly remembers whether he blinked his eyes or not after that. It was, as if he lost his direction without the pole star, as if he lost his light without his sun.

His happiness knew no boundaries when the doctor declared that Anika was out of danger. The nurse brought out Anika's belongings and gave them to Shivaay as he said that she was Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi, his wife.

Her belongings included her Chand bracelet and..the mangal sutra, that means this marriage means to her. He vowed to give her all the rights of a wife, to fulfil all the duties of a husband, to give her the immense love he was trying to hide from the world and himself.

Shivaay rushed inside to see Anika before anybody else could even move. But his heart broke into pieces when Anika turned her face to the other side to not look at him. Everybody came in to meet Anika.

"I'm sorry Dadi, I hurt you a lot by talking rudely with you all these days. I feel ashamed to even look at you." Anika said to dadi while crying.

"Shhh... I should be the one to apologise. You still saved my family despite the grave mistakes that my Grandson did." Dadi said caressing her face and looking at Shivaay with hurt and anger.

Anika could sense the tension between the family members and Shivaay and she felt bad. He did bad with her but at least he doesn't deserve hatered from his family for whom he can die. She knew by looking at OmRu that they were angry on Shivaay and this must be killing him from within. She could see the tears in his eyes. Shivaay left the room not able to hold back his guilt.

"Anika, I want to ask something from you." Dadi asked from Anika breaking her thoughts about Shivaay.

"Dadi you don't need to ask my permission, you are elder to me so you just order." Anika said to dadi.

"Will you give a chance to this marriage ?" Dadi asked not beating around the bush.

"D..dadi... I don't believe in this marriage." Anika told without looking at Dadi.

"Agar aisa hai toh abb tak uske naam ka mangal sutra kyun pehna tha ? Kyun bachaya use, apni jaan khatre mein daal ke ?" Dadi asked her directly, knowing her inner battles.

Anika had nothing to say to dadi. Marriage wasn't a joke. She never had any family and this thing made her learn the value of every relation. She believes in this marriage that doesn't mean she will forgive Shivaay for forcing her, for blaming her of being characterless.

"main nahi keh rahi hoon ke use maaf kar do, par use ek mauka de do. Maine uske aankhon mein khwaish dekhi hai, apne liye jeene ki. Aur voh apne liye jeeyega jab tum uska sath dogi. Mai janti hun ki apne swarth mein bhut badi cheez maang rahi hoon, par sirf ek mauka de do use Anika ( I'm not asking you to forgive him but give him a chance. I've seen the wish in his eyes to live for himself and he will live for himself when you will be with him. Please give him a chance )." Dadi asked from Anika joining her hands infront other.

"Dadi you're embarrassing me...I..." Anika tried to deny.

"Please Anika, please..." Dadi pleaded.

"Hmm.." Anika couldn't say anything else. Dadi and the other family members were very happy. They were about to leave when Anika stopped OmRu.

"Why are you both ignoring Shivaay ?" She asked from both of them once everybody left.

"Bhabi he did wrong, and he deserves this." Om said to Anika, surprising her by calling her bhabi.

"I'm even ashamed to call him my brother." Rudra said in anger only to be scolded by Anika.

"Rudra ! He is your elder brother, you shouldn't talk like this." Anika scolded him.

"What about whatever he did with you, bhabi ? Even I'm ashamed of his actions." Om said to Anika.

"If you both are embarassed to call him your brother then with which right you both are calling me bhabi ?" Anika asked them. "I never had anyone as my family, to love me. He did wrong with me, but he did all of this for his family. You've got this love, respect it. Those who don't get such love, ask from them how much they crave for it." She said as a tear fell from her eyes.

"He loves you the same way infact more than that, just never told you. It was his biggest mistake to not accept his feelings earlier. But now he has accepted those feelings and now, he will not leave any stone unturned to make you feel the happiest person of the world." Om said to Anika causing a fluttering feeling to Anika.

"But, don't forget that we love you bhabi." Rudra hugged Anika.

OmRu left the room. Shivaay was not there. They searched everywhere in the hospital and at last, they found him on the terrace. He was back facing OmRu. So they went towards him and back hugged him. Shivaay didn't turn but cried.

"Sorry bhai/bhaiya." OmRu said together. Shivaay turned towards them and nodded in no, wiping their tears.

"No. You both were not at fault, I was the one who was wrong but you both forgave me. I don't know how will I apologise to Anika, I don't want to lose Anika." He told them about his fear, of losing her.

"As far as our forgiveness is concerned, after marriage bhabi asked something from us for the first time so we had to give her that. And you have to earn your apology from her." Om told Shivaay making him smile a bit.

"Bhaiya you've got a chance, don't lose it. I know you won't but still, if I saw bhabi crying then I won't tolerate." Rudra threatened Shivaay.

"me too." Om also said.

"Bhabi ke chamche." Shivaay said as he hugged both of them.

"Shivaay, Svetlana whispered something in your ear, and that misunderstanding or something. What it was ?" Om asked from Shivaay.

Shivaay closed his eyes feeling ashamed of himself and told everything about what daksh told him and he believed it like a fool and also, the way he taunted Anika for this. He told them that he felt betrayed.

"Are you mad ? How could you think so low of Anika ? And what did you just say, You felt betrayed. Why ? She was your employee so she had no relation with you. Daksh was her fiancee right ? So even if this was true, it was her choice." Om tried to hit the right chord.

"I know om. But...But mere the thought of her being with anyone else was intolerable for me. That time I was denying my feelings, because of my stupid ideologies, or ego or whatever I don't know. But now I can't deny, I don't want to deny infact, I want to shout it infront of everyone that yes ! I love her, I love my Anika." Shivaay said as the only thoughts he had were of Anika.

"Ahem ahem... My Anika." OmRu teased Shivaay to which Shivaay looked away like a shy bride.

"But seriously Shivaay, what you've said to bhabi it won't be easy for her to forgive you. It depends on you to what extent you can go to earn that apology." Om again said to which Rudra nodded.

"And if I saw bhabi crying hereafter, then...." Rudra was cut off in middle by Shivaay who said, "I know you both won't leave me."

After an Obro hug, they went towards Anika's ward. Shivaay decided to talk to Anika and entered inside the ward. Anika was talking to the doctor about something rather she was arguing.

"Please understand Mrs. Oberoi that I can't let you go home. You need to stay here at least for a weak. And after that too you will have to be on bed rest atleast for a month." The doctor tried to make Anika understand.

"First of all I'm Anika, only Anika and I don't want to stay here." Anika said in frustration as she was already weak and this argument was sucking her energy more.

"I'll complete the discharge formalities doctor, she will be taken care of at home. I'll make sure of that." Shivaay said to the doctor and the doctor nodded knowing the consequences of not agreeing with SSO.

"And doctor, it's Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi." Shivaay informed the doctor with pride dripping from his voice calling her his. Anika didn't look at him even for once which was hurting him. He sat beside her and held her hand in his hands. Anika looked at him with a jerk and then at their hands. She tried to take it back but he didn't leave her hand.

"This is going to be like this, forever. So don't try it." Shivaay said to Anika while looking at their entangled hands.

"Will you not be ashamed to hold a characterless girl's hand forever, Mr. Oberoi ?" Anika asked, rather taunted him while trying to hold back her tears.

"I don't have answer to this question Anika as I know what you are talking about. What I've done is unforgivable. And for that, I'm ready to bear any punishment. I'm ready to pay my life as a price. You just say a word, I'm ready to do anything." Shivaay said as he caressed her face.

"Whenever I try to understand you, you make it more difficult for me. Is it so easy for you to say all those filthy things and then, to say that you are sorry for that ? Am I a doll ? whom you married for a day. I don't understand you, I don't understand what you do ? What you want ?" Anika cried helplessly.

Shivaay got up from his seat and made Anika look at him by holding her chin. He put his hand in his pocket and brought out her mangal sutra. He made her wear that and kissed her forhead.

"That day, I forced you to wear this. But today, I'm making you wear this with full pride. I know you are still not ready for this. But I promise, no no...I...I give a pinky promise to you that you will be happy. I don't regret the marriage but the way it happened was wrong and I'll make it fine." Shivaay kissed her forhead again.

After that, Anika got discharged from the hospital and as expected by OmRu, Shivaay didn't let anyone else touch Anika and picked her up in his arms embarrassing Anika a lot. Anika's grah Pravesh was done with lots of happiness as well as teasings.

It's been four days since Anika came to Oberoi mansion as the daughter in law of the house. From day one when she entered this mansion as a weeding planner, she was loved by everyone. But being pampered like a queen, it was so new to her. Especially the way she was treated by Shivaay. Sometimes he behaved like a fool around her. It wasn't unpleasant to see him doing the cute stuff like making breakfast for her and not going to office because he didn't want to leave her alone.

With Shivaay's care, Anika recovered soon. She started talking normally with Shivaay and their silly fights were still there. Around Anika, Shivaay would be a completely different person with only smile playing on his lips. If one hour he had to stay without seeing Anika's face, his mood would become bad.

Rudy organised a pool party where only the family members were present. Rudy couldn't mix alcohol in his famous fruit punch as elders were there. Shivaay's silent care and love was getting frustrating for OmRu as well as Dadi because he never voiced out his real feelings to Anika. So they decided to fix this problem.

They decided to play passing the parcel. When it was Anika's turn, Rudy asked her to kiss Shivaay. It was embarrassing for her despite the elders had no problem. So she had to do it. Shivaay was just sitting beside her so she gave a quick peck on his cheek and looked away.

Shivaay was the last person in the game. Rudra and om did their silent discussion and then whispered something in Shivaay's ear. Shivaay tried to deny but a glare from Dadi was enough for him to agree.

He intertwined his hand with Anika's hand and took her in the centre of the circle where everybody were sitting. He looked in her eyes and smiled seeing her blushing as well as getting nervous. He could tell by looking at her face that she was thinking what he was going to do.

"Anika, you must be thinking what I'm going to do. I don't know. It's Rudy who asked me to do this but trust me, what I'm gonna say is not even point zero one percent fake." He took hold of both of her hands and pulled her a little closer.

"I'm not at all good in the matters of expressing myself, to anyone and nobody knows it better then you. You've always managed to see beyond what I say or do. I hope today also, you will understand me even if I fail to say something." He looked at her for some minutes having an eyelock with her.

"From the day one you entered my life, you've changed me. That time it was ego that stopped me to admit that you were first and may be last person to talk to me with the same attitude as me. I never told anyone but ( He chuckled )You were the first person for whom I used to wait. You were different and that was what attracted me towards you. The way you understood my dysfunctional family and changed them into a happy family, I...I fell for you more and more. I Love you Anika and I can't imagine if anyone would ever be able to handle me the way you do. I will never be able to live if you are not there with me." Shivaay sat on his knees and took out a small ring from his pocket and made her wear that.

Anika wasn't able to understand anything and ran from there towards their room. Shivaay also went behind her leaving the family to pray for the best for Shivika.

Anika just stood infront of the mirror looking at her reflection. She is changed so much. She was confused with all those 'What ifs' troubling her. "What if Shivaay break her heart once again ?" "What if he left her ?" What if he again breaks her trust by showing distrust on her ?"

Shivaay came in the room and stood behind her. Anika looked at him unknown to the fact that her eyes were filled with tears. Shivaay made her turn around.

"What happened Anika, why you came here all of a sudden ? If you didn't like what I did infront of everyone then you should have stopped me. I don't mind if you don't reciprocate these feelings, I don't expect you to love me after...after What I did to you in the past. But please don't cry. I know you don't love me but..." Shivaay was trying to stop her from crying but Anika stopped him in middle of his sentence.

Anika couldn't hold herself back and said, "I do love you, a lot. But...But I'm scared. What if you broke my heart again and left me alone ? I won't be able to handle myself again. I would di..."
Shivaay didn't let her say What she was going to say. Instead, he kissed her as gently as possible, holding her closer to himself.

"Don't say that word, you just can't leave me, never ever. You were mine, you are, and will always be mine. I love you, you love me and it's enough for both of us." Shivaay said as he broke the kiss.

Anika smiled through her tears and Shivaay locked their lips once again. After that, he picked her up in his arms and laid her on the bed hovering over her to claim her as his possession in all senses, forever.
