Snowdin and The Promises We've Made
Rachel's POV
We continued to walk around, with us stopping every once in awhile so I could revive a dead monster. We stopped for a moment after reviving one monster, and I turned to the others. Toriel and Asriel were talking and Flowey was on the ground looking around. I sat down, but then stood right back up cause the ground was cold. Wait, if we are inside a mountain, WHY IS THERE SNOW?! LIKE REALLY! I sighed. I walked over to Flowey and picked him up. Asriel and Toriel waked over to me. "Come on. Let's keep moving." We continued walking. We passed by a few puzzles, I revived some monsters. All in all, besides being cold and all the piles of dust I had to revive, it felt like we were walking in a winter wonderland. We walked into a town called Snowdin. I remember Sans telling me about it. A lot of monsters were walking in their houses and soon there was no one outside.
"It's so..." Toriel started.
"Empty? Desolate? Uh, bleak?" Flowey asked.
"Quiet." I answered.
"It's just because everyone is inside hiding from Chara." Asriel said.
"Yeah, well if I died, and I was brought back to life, I would hide too if my killer was still out there." We walked into Grillby's and I saw Grillby packing up some boxes. "Grillby? What's going on?" Grillby looked up at me before sighing.
"Everyone went into hiding after you revived them."
"Wait, how do you remember?" Flowey asked.
"Sans told me about the reset." I nodded.
"Thanks Grillby." He nodded before going through the fire exit. "Come on." We walked outside and walked through the town. Luckily there were no dust piles so my powers got to rest. We walked till we stopped in front of a pile of dust with body armor surrounding it. Papyrus. My soul appeared in front of me, but not golden. It was half rainbow, half grey. I closed my eyes as a tear fell to the ground. I am losing my powers. Just because I can lose my powers but the other Golden Girls can't, doesn't mean their perfect either. They have their problems. I looked at my soul and gave it a small nod. It turned gold and as did my hair and eyes. A gold mist surrounded the dust, then the dust disappeared from view, and the mist disappeared revealing Papyrus.
"Human Rachel? IS THAT YOU?"
"Yeah Pap. It's me." I said. I think a few more tears fell. "Come on, we have to find Frisk." He nodded.
"YES! LET'S!" We walked through a tunnel. "HUMAN RACHEL! WHY ISN'T SANS WITH YOU!"
"My guess is that he's looking for Frisk?" I didn't know. We walked through the caves. Stopping at every dust pile to revive the dead monsters. I was growing tired, though. I think Asriel and Flowey could tell. Flowey helped us with the puzzles. We continued walking till something ran into me. I fell to the ground and looked up to see- "Monster Kid?" He looked up at me with tears in his eyes.
"She... S-she killed... Undyne."
"Wait, what? Monster Kid, what happened."
"I-I tried to stop Frisk, a-and... she attacked me, but... U-Undyne stood in the way."
"Is Frisk still here?"
"I-I don't know."
"What about Sans?" Papyrus asked, his voice cracking a little.
"Monster Kid, was there a skeleton with Frisk?"
"N-no."
"OK. Go home to your parents were you'll be safe."
"W-what about y-you?"
"We'll be fine. Now go. Go!" Monster Kid ran out of the cave and disappeared from sight. I turned to the others. "Come on, we have to move. Undyne could probably tell us where Sans is, or where Frisk is going." They nodded. We ran and came to a bridge with a pile of dust. "Hold on. Let me me go first." They nodded and I walked slowly to the pile of dust. My soul appeared in front of me already golden, but my hair and eyes didn't turn gold. I resurrected Undyne and fell to my knees. My breathing became heavy.
"WHERE'S THAT LITTLE PUNK! I'LL DESTROY HER!"
"Rachel." Asriel ran up to me and grabbed my shoulder.
"I'm... O-OK." I said, giving him a small smile. there was a sickening crack under us and me and Asriel looked down. "Oh no." I said as the wooden bridge cracked under us, before breaking, causing me, Asriel and Flowey to fall.
"ASRIEL! FLOWEY! RACHEL!"

"FRISK!" My bedroom door opened and a young girl came running in.
"Ray-Ray, what's wrong!?" Frisk said. I was shaking and sobbing in my bed, not looking up at the girl who was trying to comfort me. "Sissy? Please, are you ok?"
"Frisk?"
"I'm here, sissy. Are you ok? Did you have another nightmare?" I nodded. "Was it about the monsters?" I nodded, and Frisk gave me a hug. "Don't worry, Ray-ray. The monsters can't hurt you here."
"Frisk, don't you get it? I am the monster."
"No, not you, Ray. You can't be a monster. You're the nicest person I know. Just like our parents, like you told me, right?" She asked with a smile.
"Yeah. I'm just like our parents..."
"Sissy... am I like our parents?" Frisk asked.
"No, you're so much better then them, then me. But, that doesn't mean you can't be corrupt. Frisk, can you promise me, that no matter what happens, you'll be kind and give mercy to everyone you meet?"
"Of course I promise, Ray. I promise every night you ask me, but why do you ask me this?"
"Cause everyone deserves mercy, even monsters."
"Even the ones that hurt us?"
"Especially those."
"Ok, Ray. But, can you promise me something?"
"Of course, sweetie."
"Can you promise me, that you'll always be there to protect me."

"I PROMISE."

I woke up in what appeared to be a lab. A pain erupted in my head, and out of instinct, I reach up and grab it, trying to massage the pain out. I stood up from the ground, looking at my surroundings. "You're ok!" A voice said. I turned to see a black female skeleton, with dark purple glowing hair, and two different colored eyes, that changed colors, and the bone color around her right eye was white. She wore a long sleeve purple sweater, jeans, white boots, and a long purple scarf. "I was worried you weren't going to wake up." She said. "I'm Art. It's a pleasure to meet you, Rachel." My eyes widen.
"H-how do you know my name?" I asked.
"Oh! My parents talk about you to me and my brother PJ a lot!"
"PJ?"
"Ah! Paperjam, my brother. My parents are Error and Ink. They said they were friends of your's..."
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait. Error and Ink are your parents?"
"Yes!"
"They're together?"
"Yes."
"They've had kids!?"
"Yes..."
"AND THEY DIDN'T TELL ME!"
...
"Now I'm starting to think this was a bad idea like Jammy said." Then something popped into my mind and I looked around franticly. "What's wrong?"
"Where's Asriel and Flowey?"
"Oh! They already woke up and are with Alphys."
"And everyone else?"
"On their way here. Now come on. I'll take you to Alphys!" She said, and began to walk off.
