Compartment One

Aziza runs through the crowded aisle, wanting her usual compartment. She arrives at the door to find that nobody had taken it. She puts her bag down and sits, waiting for her sisters. Minutes later they walk into the compartment, "Azzy, why did you run off?" Amber asks, puffing.

"I wanted to get out compartment!" she replies. The three girls sit down. "I can't believe we are going for our final year!" Alexandrite exclaims and Amethyst rolls her eyes, taking a book from her bag. Amber notices and frowns, "Emmy, you ok?" She doesn't look up from the book, "I'm fine!" she says simply with a hint of sarcasm.

"THAT WAS SOOOO SARCASTIC!" Aziza laughs, "Seriously though...what's wrong?" Amethyst sighs frustrated, "Nothing! Leave me alone!" she scolds, still not looking up. Suddenly three more students open the door, "Guys...what is happening? We heard some commotion..." Kaeon starts, before Amethyst cuts him off, " Nothing!"

Kaeon widens his eyes putting up his hands in defence, "Hey, I didn't do nothing!" He sits next to Alexandrite and moves towards her ear, "What did you guys do?" he whispers slowly and she moves towards his ear, "Nothing...I am laughing my ass off at the result though!" Halley sits beside Aziza and Oakley beside Amber.

Everyone stars at Amethyst confused and she slams her book shut. "What?!" she asks, her voice raised. "Emmy...I think you need to calm down..." Halley starts but Aziza elbows her. "Calm down?! CALM DOWN?!" Amethyst replies but Aziza stands up, grabbing her arm and pulling her outside before she could say anything more.

Everyone else watches the argument until they come back in several minutes later. Aziza looks satisfied as she sits down and Amethyst sits. "Um...I'm sorry for my rudeness...I am very stressed and still recovering from...you know...so I have been on edge all morning," she says with an apologetic frown.

"It's ok Em! We were just worried that you were sad about something," Halley says, standing to give her a hug. Amethyst hugs her back and they continue to talk about their holidays.

Compartment 2

Kathrine walks along the Slytherin Car aisle. She finds a compartment with only one girl and opens the door. "Excuse me, could I sit here? All the other compartments are full," she asks, sitting down. The girl turns to look at her and scowls. "Uh...I'm Kathrine Gray, 7th year...I prefer Kat though," Kathrine says but still gets no reply. "...I'm new to Hogwarts...what about you?" she says again, but the girl just stares at her.

"Do you speak?" Kat asks sarcastically, now getting frustrated. "If you haven't noticed, I don't want to answer you nor did I say yes to you sitting here," the girl replies coldly. "Jeez! Rude much!" Kat laughs. "Why are you laughing?" the girl asks confused and Kat smirks. " I like you! You are a lot like me!" she says and the other girl's face softens slightly.

"Uh...ok..." she says slowly, still a bit confused. "How about we try again? Hi, I'm Kat! What's your name?" Kat replies. "...Hello...I am Glacier..." the girl says and Kat smiles. "What year are you in, what's your house? I am in 7th year and a Slytherin," Kat says and Glacier nods. "I am in 7th year as well, in Ravenclaw and I am new this year," she says. "Ooo cool! So am I!" Kat laughs and Glacier smiles slightly before the compartment door opens again.

"Hello! I'm Cloud Granger! Can I sit with you guys since the other compartments are full?" the girl who opened the door said. "Um, yea ok! Hi Cloud, I'm Kat and this is Glacier, we are new this year!" Kat says confidently. "Oh awesome!" Cloud says and sits down, "What year are you two in?"

"7th! What about you?" Kat asks. "Same as you!" Cloud laughs, "What house?" Glacier sits back in her seat, a frown now appeared back on her face. "I am Slytherin, Glacier is Ravenclaw..." Kat replies looking at Glacier confused. "Oh! I'm a Gryffindor!" Cloud announces and follows Kat's gaze to Glacier, "Um...are you alright Glacier?"

Glacier glares at her but does not speak. "Uh...no need to be rude...I was asking if you were ok..." Cloud says softly. "I'm fine!" Glacier snaps and scowls at her. Cloud pouts and looks at Kat who just shrugs at her. "Well...I guess I should find another compartment...sorry to bother you..."Cloud sighs, standing and walking out of the compartment.

Moments later, Jack and Severus enter the compartment laughing. "Oh...uh, this is our compartment..." Jack says looking at the two girls. "Oh, I don't see your name on it!" Kathrine replies sarcastically and Severus scowls at her, "What? You got something to say?"

Jack laughs, "Well, we are going to sit here anyway, there are no more compartments."

Severus and Jack sit down. The compartment is silent for a few moments before Severus speaks up, "So...are you pure-bloods?" Jack elbows him and turns to Kat, for her to answer. "No I am a half-blood!" Kat replies confidently and Severus frowns a bit but recovers and turns to Glacier. She just stays silent and glares at him.

Jack whispers something to Severus and his face softens. Suddenly, the compartment opens yet again and a boy with curly, short black hair stumbles in. "Hey, can I hang here for a bit?" he asks and Jack nods moving over. "Hey, how's it going Jack?" the boy asks, recognizing Jack and patting him on the back.

Jack laughs, "Good! Hey, this is..." Kat nods, "Kat and Glacier! We are new, 7th year," she explains and the boy nods. "Regulus Black, 6th year!" he replies, pushing some of his hair from his face. Kat stares at him for a moment before shaking her head with a chuckle. She smiles at his laid-back, calm facial expression, "So...you got a girlfriend?" she asks impulsively. "Haha nope! I'm just not in the right headspace for dating right now...this year is going to be...tough..." he laughs and then looks nervously over at Severus during the last few words.

Aurora walks down the train aisle and finds a compartment with a few people. She opens the door and walks inside, "Um hey! Could I take a seat here with you guys?" she asks and everyone nods. "Hello, have we met? I'm Aurora Poppin!" she says turning to Kat. "No, Kathrine Gray, but call me Kat! Nice to meet you!" Kat replies. "Oh I know you, Jack and Severus right? And...Regulus?" she asks turning to the boys and they nod.

They continue to get to know each other and talk in their compartment.

Compartment 3

Antara, Lily and Severus split up. Lily finds a compartment with Marlene, Artemis and Elliana. "Lils!" Marlene cheers happily as she sits down. "Hey guys!" she replies. "We were just talking about out holidays! How were yours?" Elliana asks. "It was...ok...Tuney moved out with her boyfriend Vernon..." Lily answered sadly and Artemis pats her back.

"Oh...I'm sorry Lils..." Marlene says and gives her a small smile. Lily smiles back and the compartment door opens. "Uh...hey guys, can I sit with you? The other compartments are full," a blond girl asks softly. "Hey Stac! Of course!" Elliana greets and moves over, letting the girl sit.

"Oh! You are Stacy Osborne? I've heard of you! Your a chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team right?" Lily asks and Stacy nods shyly. "Yea, you are Lily Evans right?" she replies and Lily nods. Marlene looks at Stacy's light blue overalls and white tee, "Your outfit is...cute," she states and Elliana laughs.

"Marls! Always with the fashion!" Artemis chuckles. "Hey, fashion is important!" Marlene laughs and gestures to her own clothes. The other girls let out a laugh and two more girls appear at the door of their compartment. "Hey guys! Lily, you didn't wait for me on the platform!" one of the girls whine playfully.

"You were taking ages!" Lily exclaims and the girl laughs. "Hey Lan, Lyla!" Elliana greets and Stacy waves. They sit down opposite Lily and Elliana. "Hello! Have we met?" Atlantis asks Stacy and she nods. "Uh...yea I think so...I'm Stacy!" she replies and holds out a hand to Atlantis. She shakes it and smiles at her.

The door opens yet again and Cloud stands in the aisle, "Hey, uh...I just came from another compartment...could I sit with you guys instead?" she asks and Stacy nods enthusiastically. "Yes! Hey Cloud!" she greets and she smiles, "Thanks, hi Stac!" Lily smiles, "Who were you in a compartment with? Why did you transfer?" she asks.

"Uh, I was with two new girls...one was nice but the other was quite rude..." Cloud answers with a frown. "New girls? So there will be new students?" Marlene moans and Stacy chuckles. " I think I saw a cute blue-haired new boy in a compartment on my way here Marls!" Lily mentions and Marlene's head turns quickly to her. "Really! Blue hair is sooo hot right now! I have to meet him!" Marlene gasps and everyone laughs.

They continue to talk about the new girls and what they hope to happen during the year.

Compartment 4

Serena walks into an empty compartment and Rosalie follows eagerly. "So..." she starts awkwardly, sitting down opposite Serena. Serena rolls her eyes, "Why did you follow me?" she asks skeptically. "Because I don't know where my friends are and I couldn't be bothered to look for them right now," Rosalie laughs.

The door opens and Antara waves at the two girls, "Hi! Can I sit here?" she asks and Rosalie nods, moving over. "Rosalie right?" she asks and Rosalie nods. "And you're Antara?" she replies with a laugh and Antara nods back. "Oh, hello! Uh...I don't know your name..." she says, now looking at Serena.

"Serena Woods, 7th year..." Serena replies with a fake smile. "What house are you guys in?" Antara asks. "Ravenclaw!" Rosalie answers for both of them and Serena nods. "Oh cool! I am a Slytherin!" Antara says with a confident chuckle.

Serena suddenly tares her gaze from Antara to something outside the door. 5 boys slam the door open laughing their heads off. "Oh Pads! Of course she is going to say yes!" Peter exclaims and James nods. "Yea! Besides, the worst she could say is 'No, f*ck off toerag! I hate you, die in a hole!' and she to walk away and never talk to you again..." He rants and Sirius looks at him horrified. "Prongs! What the hell?!" he sighs loudly and takes a seat next to Antara.

"How you going?" he asks slyly and Antara rolls her eyes with a laugh. He shrugs and gives her a smirk. "What was that about?" Rosalie asks and Remus chuckles. " Sirius has a crush on-" he starts but Sirius launches himself over to cover his mouth. "No! Don't tell anyone!" he whispers sternly and loudly. Remus rolls his eyes with a smirk.

"Ok..." Serena says confused but turns to Hayden. " Hi!" Hayden smirks and kisses her strongly on the lips. She pulls away almost instantly and smiles shyly. He smirks and whispers something in her ear before she reluctantly nods her head sadly. Rosalie frowns at her, noticing and Serena turns away to watch the scenery outside the window.

"How were your holidays boys?" Antara asks. "Great!" Remus, Peter, Hayden and James all reply and Sirius nods. "Me and Azzy were sending owls all summer! Did you guys know that she once got a scar on her left arm because she got attacked by a death eater?!" Sirius asks and the others shake their heads.

"So...Azzy huh?" Rosalie giggles and Sirius blushes slightly. "What? No! We were just..." Sirius says, searching for an excuse. "Mhm," Antara chuckles.

They continue to bug Sirius about his crush and play some rounds of exploding snap.

Compartment 5

Vivian walks onto the train and finds the only compartment left. It already has two girls in it that looked to be in her year. "Hi Van, AJ!" she greets and walks into the compartment. They give her a smile and Van moves over. "Hey Vivi!" she exclaims, "How was your summer?" Vivian thinks for a moment before answering, "Well mother took me over to Lucius and Antara's house...and left me there..."

"What? Why?" April asks and Vivian shrugs, "I don't know...she just left me there for the rest of the summer...I haven't seen her in two weeks!" Van shales her head crossly, "That is not very good parenting..." April nods in agreeance, "I'm just surprized that she let you come home!"

Vivian frowns sadly, thinking of her parents. The door opens moments later and a boy with shocking white hair enters, "Hey ladies! Mind if I sit with you guys?" the boy asks and they nod. "Of course, hey Tommy!" Van greets and he sends her a smile. "How are you guys?" he asks. "Fine..." Vivian sighs and Thomas frowns, confused. " Not too bad! How are you?" April replies and his smile returns. "I'm doing great! Thanks!" he replies with a chuckle.

"Uh...why aren't you with the marauders? Don't you usually hang out with them?" Vivian asks and he nods. "Yea but...their compartment was full," he replies and she eyes him suspiciously but shrugs, "Ok then..." April turns to the door, "Oooo trolley time!!"

"Anything from the trolley dears?" and elderly witch asks and they nod eagerly. "Yes please! I will take 2 pumpkin pasties, a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Bean and a liquorish wand, " Thomas replies and hands the witch a few sickles. She hands him the lollies and turns to the girls. "I will take two chocolate frogs, thanks!" April replies. "Could I please have three cauldron cakes?" Van asks and the trolley witch nods, passing over their lollies.

"Anything for you dear?" she asks looking at Vivian and she shakes her head. "Oh, no thanks...I must have misplaced my money..." The trolley witch nods and continues down the aisle. "Unlucky..." April sighs, giving Vivian a pat on the back, "You can have a chocolate frog if you'd like!" Vivian smiles weakly, "No thanks...I didn't really want anything anyway."

"I can't wait for school!" Van interrupts excitedly, munching on a cauldron cake. "Ooo same!!" April nods and Thomas chuckles slightly. "Looks like we are almost there," Vivian adds, looking out the window to what looks to be the castle. They start to pack up their belongings as they reach the castle.
