The night was peaceful.

The moon was in its ultimate stage as it was the 14th lunar day. Stars were shining brightly all over the sky, giving it the appearance of a diamond studded apparel. The wind was blowing softly, making the atmosphere feel slightly cold.

During this pleasant weather, a young woman was looking out of the window with misty eyes and staring at the brightly glowing moon.

The beautiful moon, the cool wind and the gentle rustling of the leaves seemed to give some peace to her badly messed up mind.

She just couldn't understand what was happening in her life.

What had she ever done for this to happen to her?

Maybe she was just being punished for some grave crime she committed in her past life.

A sigh escaped through her mouth when she realised that her mind went on a train of thoughts, yet again.

She glanced at the clock hung on the wall, adjacent to the window, and decided to just sleep as it was past midnight now.

She slowly walked towards her bed and laid down on the soft mattress, making herself comfortable. Her eyes soon began drooping and she was just about to drift into sleep when,

'Hello.' 

 A voice suddenly echoed.

Her eyes flew open and she sat up straight, hearing an unknown voice in her room. She looked around in fear, and searched for the owner of the voice.

'...Don't be scared,' The voice said, this time with much more gentleness. But sadly it did not help with the situation.

"W-where are you...?" She asked, still looking around, as the essence of fear still lingered within her.

"Within you,"

Her face paled as she suddenly realised that the voice was really coming from inside her.

Has she gone crazy now?

"You're not crazy," The voice replied.

.

Her eyes widened.

The voice had heard her even when she didn't speak!

"Hey, don't be stupid, I just told you that I'm inside you," This was the longest sentence said by the voice yet.

"Who are you...?" She asked slowly.

.

"I'm you. And him."
