18. Twin Flames

Amber POV

She had it so bad for this girl.

Now she started seeing her everywhere. Maybe because she hung out with her sister more, since they were on line together. There was no way she could tell her sister she had a crush on a straight girl.

So she kept her focus on school and MAX.

Then one day she came home from a session with MAX, and there sitting on her bed was the girl of her dreams.

She stopped, stood there, and watched her with her mouth wide open. Jade was laid out in her bed, nothing but panties and a little t-shirt on. Did she feel so comfortable around this girl like that already?

"Oh, my bad," the girl said and hopped off her bed. "Your sis said it was okay."

"Ummm..." She did not know what to say. Her sister knew she did not like people sitting on her bed, why would she tell her that it was okay? But somehow, she did not care if this hot chick sat on her bed in her clothes.

"Chill Am, this is Jodi...my LS."

Jodi opened her mouth, shocked that her sister probably spilled the beans, but it was no secret to her.

"Damn Jodi, it's my twin, we know everything about each other. She knows you're pledging with me."

How did her sister know she knew? Up until now, she did not even know her name.

Jodi. Jodi and Amber sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes...okay, she needed to slow down now.

"No for real, I'm sorry about sitting on your bed." Jodi grabbed the chair from under Jade's desk swung it around and sat in it backward, legs spread apart and slouched over a bit.

It was sexy as hell. With her short curly hair and tattoos on her arm, the low-cut tank top showing off well-sized breasts she could not keep her eyes off of her.

"Amber, sit down, chill, stop being a weirdo," her sister said.

She could not believe her sister would say that, embarrassing her. She placed her backpack under her desk, afraid to even take off her shoes for maybe her feet stank. She for sure was not undressing with her there. She was on her period, maybe she could tell.

"I'm just hiding out in you guys' room because my roommates are GDIs and I'm trying to keep this lowkey." She snapped at the green rubber band on her wrist. "People ask about this I say this is to stop me from smoking."

"You smoke?" she asked her. Not that it was a turnoff for her. She did not mind.

"Cigga-weed yes, cigarettes, no. That shit stank."

Weed stank to her, but whatever.

"Girl, I do not like the rest of them bougie ass broads," Jade said. "You're the realest one out of them. Two of them are legacies, the other ones just think they are the prettiest thing walking."

Legacy meant their mother, sister, or grandmother was in the organization as well, at least that was how it worked in MAX. She was a legacy because of Lark. It granted her no special treatment.

She wondered if Jade told Jodi she was on line for MAX. She was not going to say anything. Let Jade do all the talking about what they were doing on line. She had not said a word to her about her process.

Jade jumped up from her bed and went into her closet. "Jodi is staying the night. She's gonna sleep with me."

What? Her sister was going to sleep with her crush? In the bed across from her. In what kind of hell was she living? Was the girl straight or gay? She just needed to know so she could stop lusting over her. She had no skills to turn a straight girl gay.

Jade handed Jodi some towels. Jodi stood up and grabbed a duffle bag that was near on the floor.

"I'm hitting the shower and getting in my PJs. Be right back."

She watched Jade walk out of the room, almost licked her lips as she watched her ass. She was worse than a guy.

As soon as Jodi was gone, she groaned and lay back on her bed grabbing her pillow.

"Get it out yo head, twin. Jodi is totally straight."

That was the fifty-million-dollar question she wanted answered.

"Are you sure?"

"Hell yeah."

She looked a little soft stud to her. It was those sexy tattoos or something.

"Aren't you in the Pride and LGBTQ clubs to know where your peeps are? Is your gaydar not working? I mean, are we going to go through another heartbreak like with Alisha in high school?"

"No!" she shouted out. "I'm good. I just think she's pretty is all." It was oh so more than that.

"Well hell, we are all pretty," Jade said with a laugh. "That's why they call us pretty, pretty girls."

That's why she was not going to tell her sister about Roscoe, the EU pledge calling her hot. His rude ass. What was she, chopped liver? Sure, she had no attraction whatsoever to boys, but it would be nice to be acknowledged that she was cute too.

While Jodi took her shower, she grabbed her shower things so she could take hers. No way was she going in there while Jodi was in there, but as soon as she came back, she was going to take hers. And she would wear the biggest T-shirt and shorts to sleep.

"How was your session?"

"Good."

Jade smacked her lips. "You never tell me anything. I tell you everything."

"You're not supposed to tell, that's your problem."

Jodi walked back into the room, wearing only a long t-shirt that covered her ass, but showed off her long, lean legs. She had to look away.

"Bedtime girls, I'm tired." Jodi sat her towel and things down on the desk.

She jumped up and headed out of the room to take her shower, maybe cool herself, off. Nope, did not help. She had erotic thoughts about Jodi being in the shower with her like she was with Daysha last year.

They had not even done much but touching and kissing. She was still a virgin, technically. No penetrative sex. Now she was horny with a hot girl in bed with her twin sister.

Needless to say, she got little sleep that night.

As soon as she met up with Laila and Marketta later the next day, she had to confess all her sins to them.

"I think I'm in lust with my sister's line sister. And she's straight!"

"Damn!" they both said while they were in a library study room.

"That is some drama!" Marketta said.

"It's so hard when you don't know if a person likes you or not, even harder when you know there is no chance because they have no interest in same sex. What am I going to do?"

"Girl, what can you do? Leave that alone. Find someone else," Laila said to her.

"And on line for AKA? Girl, the messiness!"

It was so unfair. Both of them were talking to guys that were in fraternities. So what she liked a girl in a sorority? A lot of them were gay, or at least bi. Maybe curious.

Either way, like her sister and her line sisters told her, give it up. Get over her.

Easier said than done.

A/N: I feel so bad for Amber. But maybe Jade is wrong.
