Few days have passed since you and Reiji talked. He would invite you for tea in the garden and you guys would talk about the day. Subaru would take out for walks in the garden. Yui and Kanato would try to get your attention by acting cute which caused Laito and Ayato to cause a nosebleed of Yui's cuteness. Shu would just be in the same room with you and let you hear his music along with him.

Today was a normal day but you were walking and reading toward the living room. That is until you heard a familiar voice that you wouldn't forget in your life.

"I see I'm glad that (F/n) has opened up to all of you. I sure wish that she could stay here but unfortunately, I can't allow her to be gone for too long. Rouges are appearing more and are attacking the base and she is one of the best." The voice said. The others seemed like they couldn't believe it.

'So I'll be leaving earlier than expected. Might as well pack my stuff and leave now.' You were about to leave until you heard your name.

"(F/n) I know your there come join us." You did as you were told and enter the room with a book in your hand.

"Boss it's nice to see you again. How have you been?" You said to the women.

"Good now then you have another mission." She said as you grab the papers and your eyes widen.

"This is to go into the wolves territory to escort lady Veronica to the base and her people. Boss, you can't be serious about this could cause a great risk on both sides. Not only the rouges would attack lady Veronica pack but they would think we're the one plan this attack." You said.

"I know but me and Veronica are old friends since years ago. Plus we agreed to this way before I came here."

"I see then please forgive my outburst boss. I just simply worried that's all."

"It's alright now pack your things the squad will be waiting for you tonight," Jennifer said.

"Yes, ma'am I'll get started immediately." You said as went back to your room. While you left Jennifer looked at the rest of the teens she was talking with.

"Can she not stay just a bit longer," Yui said with a sad look.

"I'm afraid not we are low on hunters now. The rouges are getting stronger and we need all available hunters to help at the base." Jenniffer explains.

"Will we ever see her again?" Kanato asked.

"I don't know what the future holds for us right now. This is one of the greatest battles we will ever fight. Many might not come back no matter how good they are."

"But (F/n) will right?" Subaru said trying to convince himself.

"I don't know but thank you for letting her stay here for a while." Jennifer while getting up.

"Can I ask you a favor miss Jennifer?" Yui said while holding the cross in her hand.

"What is it young one."

"If my sister lives I want her to come back here. And I want her to live with us unless she goes on a mission." Yui said with a confident voice for the first time.

"Alright, I'll see what I can do to make that happen." She said with a kind smile.

"Boss ready to go when you are." (F/n) said as she had all her stuff in her bag.

"Alright let's go we have no time to waste." She said as they began to walk to the door.

As they rode off Yui and everyone saw them until they weren't seen anymore. Once they were long gone Yui ran back to her room. That night she cried in her sleep she didn't come out at all.

At base

"Wish us luck boss we'll be back before you know it." You said as you and your teammates were now heading to the forest where lady Veronica and her pack were at.

"Good luck you guys make me proud." They salute her. They rode on horseback since they were walking in rough terrain. It took about three hours once they saw the waterfall where the wolf pack hid behind.

"Alright let's tie up the horses here and walk on foot." One of the guys said as you and the other guy agreed with him. Before they knew it wolves came up to them and they three times bigger than a normal wolf.

"Hi, we're here to escort lady Veronica and your package back to base. We're the vampire hunters sent by lady Jennifer." You said as they looked one another they started sniffing you and saw that you were telling the truth. They lead you behind the waterfall they saw a lot more people as well as children. A woman with blond hair but had a tan and dark brown eyes came up to them.

"Welcome, I'm Veronica leader of this pack. You must be the hunters Jennifer told me about." She said as she looked at you and your teammates.

"Yes, we're here to escort you and your pack to the base." One of the guys said.

"Alright then please show us." She said as she turns into a golden wolf with the same eyes color. Soon all the people turn and so did some children.

"Alright, then we shall lead you one of us will be at the rear and the others in front. (F/n) you'll take the rear." You nodded as the guys took the front.

After a three-hour trip back they manage to get back to base with the wolf pack. No enemy came at them while coming back. That made you more worried that they could be following to attack them all at once.

'I'm getting a bad feeling right now.'
