Sanskar and Aakash moved inside the house after few minutes to see Ragini is still hugging Sapna. Sapna is caressing her hair while Rivan is sitting other side of Ragini. Sanskar looks at her painfully but composes himself.

“Rivan are you ready?” Sanskar asked.

“I will be coming in the evening jiju.” Rivan says.

Sapna and Aakash look at him surprised as he addressed Sanskar as jiju but then smiled while Ragini didn’t paid heed to him as she is still scared. Sanskar was about to deny but Rivan puts a puppy face stopping him.

“You take di home. She needs rest.” Rivan continues.

“Sapna we need to leave!” Aakash says.

“But… she needs me now!” Sapna says.

Ragini hears her and slowly breaks the hug.

“It’s okay di. I will be fine. You go.” Ragini says composing.

“Pakka?” Sapna asks.

Ragini nods. Sapna pats her cheek and nods. Sapna and Aakash leave to office as they have some important work to wrap up. They left the work in middle and came there as Sanskar asked them to.

“Di listen. I will come and stay with you till your delivery. I don’t want to leave you and stay here alone. You go with jiju now I will come in the evening.” Rivan says cupping her face.

“Jiju?” she whispers questioningly.

Rivan looks at her and about to speak but his phone rang. He goes from there to take the call leaving RagSan alone. Ragini doesn’t look at him atleast once while he keeps staring her lovingly. Rivan comes back.

“Jiju it’s call from café. I need to go for atleast half day. So you please take di and go.” Rivan says.

Sanskar nods. He forwards his hand to her. She puts her hand on his hand and gets up from the couch. She doesn’t look at him atleast now. But she has no other option as she knows only with him she can feel safe now. She doesn’t want to disturb her brother who has taken the responsibility of her just after the few days of fighting the death. It was always her who has been taking care of him but this time she gave him a chance but only for few days. She thought to speak later with her brother. For now all she needs is rest as she herself felt very weak after all the drama that had happened. She came there to speak to her brother and get his help but now she herself backed off.

Both of them are in car. Sanskar is silently driving the car. He doesn’t even try to look at her now. But it is her who kept taking glances of him every now and then. He stopped the car as they reached and he moved towards her helping her. He didn’t look at her even while helping her while she is looking at him. He made her sit in her room and went out.

She kept looking the way he went. He came back with a glass of juice for her. She had it silently.

“Take rest!” he said.

She just nodded and laid down while he covered her with comforter.

Two days he didn’t come in front of her. He stayed in his room and came out only making sure she isn’t outside her room. Rivan is also staying with them now. Rivan got ready for his work and about to go but saw her thinking something deep.

“Di!” he called her sitting beside her.

She looked at him blankly.

“What are you thinking di?” he asked her.

She looked down as her tears made their way.

“Di what happened?” he asked worried.

“I… I am not able to control myself.” She says crying.

He looked confused from what she is controlling herself. He took her into his embrace.

“What are you trying to control di?” He asked caressing her hair.

“My…my feelings for… him!” she said in between her sobs.

“Then why are you even trying to?” he asked smiling.

“I… I am not the right one for him Rivu… he deserves much more better than me.” She says with teary eyes.

“Eh?” he asks confused.

“He doesn’t deserve someone like me. He is rich, handsome, smart and what not. While I am just a normal middle class girl who has been struggling for even having food few days ago. It’s god’s grace I got this surrogacy offer and got you treated otherwise I would have lost you. I am unlucky to anybody Rivan. First it was ma, then choti ma and then papa. I had almost lost you too. I can’t just let my bad luck to affect him or this family.” She says and stops as her tears kept flowing.

“Di I think we should get your brain checked. From when these stupid thoughts are running in your mind? UNLUCKY! Seriously you have lost everything. Are you even understanding what you are speaking?” Rivan asks her angrily breaking the hug.

She nods wiping her tears.

“Yes I am speaking with all my senses. And you stop calling him jiju. And no more questions. You go you are getting late.” She pushes him not letting him talk.

She wanted to share and she shared that’s all. She doesn’t want to hear him. He gives her a strict look and goes from there.

He is walking thinking deeply when Sanskar spotted him.

“Oye!” Sanskar called him.

“Yes bhai!” Rivan responds.

“Bhai?” he asked raising his one eyebrow.

Rivan shakes his head and goes out leaving Sanskar behind. Sanskar sighed and went out but stopped seeing Rivan there. Rivan suddenly hugged him.

“Rivan what happened?” he asked concerned.

Rivan broke the hug.

“She feels she isn’t the right one for you jiju. She feels she is unlucky!” He says with teary eyes.

Sanskar looks on. He doesn’t understand what to do.

“Let’s wait Rivan. She must be thinking those all because of pregnancy. You know many things go abnormal during this time. Just give her time. I told you not to talk right, then why did you talk to her about this?” Sanskar explains and asks.

“She herself spoke. I didn’t ask anything.” Rivan says.

“It’s okay leave it. Don’t talk regarding this again. We just need to wait.” Sanskar consoles him.

Rivan nods. Sanskar hugs him again and pats his back.

She held his hand tight while the stretcher is being pushed into the Operation Theatre. She is screaming in pain while he is controlling himself not to burst into tears seeing her pain.

“Ma’am leave his hand. We need to take you inside.” Nurse says.

But she shakes her head as no. Sanskar looks helpless. Doctor Nitya who was present there asks them to allow him. He enters inside along with them. Rivan, Sapna and Aakash stayed outside waiting for the news of the arrival of the baby.

Sanskar kept holding her hand tight trying his best to support her. All that she needed was him beside her and he is beside her. His eyes flew with tears as he sees her screaming in pain. He kept caressing her hair trying to whisper some soothing words in her ear as he kept his head near her head. Finally the baby arrives making Ragini smile weakly in tears and fall unconscious.

“Doctor?” Sanskar called Doctor worried.

“She is fine. Don’t worry Mr. Sanskar!” Doctor said.

He nodded. He then looked at baby.

“It’s a boy!” Doctor said smiling.

Sanskar smiled happily. He looked at Ragini adoringly and slowly left her hand. He moved out with happy smile. He just hugged his sister tight.

“It’s a baby boy!” Sanskar says breaking the hug.

“Ragini?” Sapna asked worried.

“Doctor said she is fine. She is unconscious.” Sanskar said.

Sapna nodded.

Ragini slowly opened her eyes and looked at Sapna who is smiling at her. Sapna just hugs her leaning to her.

“Thank You!” She whispers.

Ragini smiles.

“Today I want to say something Ragini.” Sapna said holding Ragini’s hand.

Ragini looked questioningly.

“I might be his mother biologically but you are the one who gave birth to him. You have as much right as I have on him.” Sapna says kissing Ragini’s palm.

Ragini smiles with teary eyes. She was always worried about the attachment she got for the baby but Sapna’s words made all her worries away.

“And it has to be you who will take him first.” Sapna says.

This makes Ragini overwhelmed. She couldn’t control her sob. Nurse gets the baby towards Ragini and puts beside Ragini. Ragini caresses his cheek looking at him adoringly.

“He is so cute. Just like you di.” Ragini spoke weakly.

All smiled. That’s when Sapna took the baby into her arms.  Aakash moved to her and hugged her from back holding the baby. Both of them have happy tears. Sapna kissed his forehead lovingly and looked at Aakash who nodded with teary smile.

“Well would I get a chance to hold my nephew now?” Sanskar asked moving towards them.

He just takes him without even waiting for them to speak. He kisses his forehead lovingly. Ragini is staring him adoringly. Rivan also takes the baby and pampers him.

It’s a month now after the baby has arrived. They had named the baby ‘Aayush’ after ten days of his birth. Ragini has decided to leave next day. She doesn’t want to stay there anymore. She wants to go away from Sanskar as soon as possible. She is feeling okay now and has decided to leave and told them. Though they tried to stop her she has clearly denied. Sanskar not spoke a word or tried to stop her.

He is standing in his room’s balcony when he saw Ragini sitting on the bench in the garden. He made his way towards garden and sat beside her with a safe distance.

“So you are leaving.” He stated.

She just nodded not looking at him.

“Why?” he asks.

“Why? My work is done here Sanskar ji.” She says looking at him.

“So it’s all just about work? Nothing else?” he asked.

“There cannot be or shouldn’t be anything other than work.” Ragini says.

“Am I that bad?” Sanskar asked as he could feel his eyes getting wet.

“I have not seen someone in my life as good as you Sanskar ji. That is why I know that I am not the right one for you.” She finally says.

“How can you decide that?” Sanskar asked painfully.

“I am not deciding Sanskar ji. I am just stating fact. I am not the right one for you.” She says.

“Please don’t do this to me. Please!” he requests as he can’t force her or get rude to her.

“I am sorry!” she says and about to go.

“Okay! Then listen to my decision also. I Love You! And only You. If I will have someone as my partner then it will be only you. If not you then no one else. I will not disturb you nor will ever get this topic between us but I will be always coming in front of you, every day till you accept me even if it takes days, months or years. Sanskar is only Ragini’s and he will be only hers. He will wait for her even if it is till death!” he states and goes before she could go.

Ragini sits there crying inconsolably. She puts her face in between her palms and cries.

Next day.

She hugs Sapna, kisses baby’s forehead lovingly, side hugs Aakash. All are teary eyed. She doesn’t give a look to Sanskar while he doesn’t move his gaze from her. His eyes are red due to crying. The same is her condition.

“I will drop them and come to office.” Sanskar said looking at Aakash.

He moved out not waiting for him to atleast nod. Sapna and Aakash looked at each other sad. Sanskar has told them everything, though they want to help, Sanskar has asked them not to. They had to stay silent.

Sanskar didn’t speak a word as he dropped them and left while Ragini kept looking the way he left standing in the entrance.

“Now why are you standing there di? It’s over. Go inside and take rest.” Rivan said.

Ragini looked at him with teary eyes.

“I am leaving for work.” Saying he left ignoring her.

Ragini went inside home wiping her tears.
