Matthew and Stephanie were on the couch, Jason and Chris behind the camera.

"What just happened??" Stephanie clutched Peepachu.

"I-"

The Hand Unit began talking and the room moved down again. "Welcome back to another night of intellectual stimulation, pivotal career choices, and self-reflection on past mistakes. We're committed to creating a unique and fulfilling work experience. One part of that commitment is ensuring that you don't get tired of the voice that you're hearing right now. Using the keypad below, please select a new companion voice. For male, press 1. For female, press 2. For text only, press 3. For other options, press 4." The keypad popped up again.

"What if we don't do anything?" Matthew asked.

"It's worth a try."

Steph and Mat sat for a few minutes, then Hand Unit talked again. "Using the keypad below, please select a new companion voice. For male, press 1. For female, press 2. For text only, press 3. For other options, press 4." Stephanie sighed and ran her hand over all the letters on the keypad (AKA me, trying to write a good story.).

"It seems that you had some trouble with the keypad. I see what you were trying to type, and I will autocorrect it for you. Thank you for choosing... Angsty Teen."

"Great." Matthew sighed.

"Hey, it might not be all that ba-" The room stopped.

"The elevator's stopped. You know the routine. Get out now, or whatever. Stay here if you want."

Stephanie got up and went to press the button. She turned back around. Matthew was still on the couch. "Are you coming or not?"

"He specifically said, 'Stay here if you want.'. So, I'm staying."

"Matthew."

Mat sighed heavily and got up, pressing the button next to the entrance. The door opened and he and Steph went through the vent.

"So, funny story, a dead body was found in this vent once. M'kay, so, not that funny, but, it's a story." Angsty teen spat.

"I wondered why it smelled weird in here..." Steph held her nose.

The soon entered the Primary Control Module. "Alright, so, let's start with your nightly chores. You should check on Ballora, and make sure she's on her stage, but, whatever."

Matthew pressed the light.

"Huh. I guess Ballora has better things to do. Let's zap her! That should be fun."

Matthew pressed the button and some weird sounds came from inside the room. "NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. I'M OUT, BYE." He turned around to leave and Stephanie pulled him back.

"Let's check on Funtime Foxy, make sure he's ready for showtime tomorrow."

"But we didn't-? What about-?" Matthew asked in chunks. Stephanie pressed the light.

"Great... Great... Great..." Angsty Teen said in a deep voice.

Matthew had a horrified look on his face.

"There seems to have been a problem with the voice synthesizer. Default settings have been restored. Please proceed through the vent ahead of you to Circus Baby's Auditorium."

Stephanie let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god we don't have to listen to that anymore." he dragged Matthew through the vent.

Halfway through the vent, a female automated voice said, "Motion Trigger: Circus Gallery vent."

They entered the Circus Gallery Control Module. "Circus Baby had a busy day today. Let's check the light and make sure she's in proper working order." Stephanie turned on the light and Baby wasn't there.

"Oh, Circus Baby! We aren't here to play hide and seek. Let's encourage Baby to come out of hiding with a controlled shock." Stephanie pressed the button dismissively. It didn't do anything. "Let's try another controlled shock." She pressed it again. Nothing. "There seems to be a power malfunction that is affecting our ability to properly motivate Baby. Please stand by while I reboot the system. I will be offline momentarily during this process. Various other systems may be offline as well, such as security doors, vent locks, and oxygen. Commencing system restart."

"NOOO-" All the lights shut off and a female voice began speaking.

"I don't recognize you. You are new. I remember this... scenario, however. It's a strange thing to want to do, to come here. I'm curious what events would lead a person to want to spend their nights in a place like this, willingly. Maybe curiosity? Maybe ignorance. There is a space under the desk; someone before you crafted it into a hiding place, and it worked for him. I recommend that you hurry, though. You will be safe there. Just try not to make eye contact. It will be over soon. They will lose interest."

Matthew looked very confused as Stephanie pulled him under the desk and squished in beside him. She pulled the door shut. Matthew had the camera in his hands. Jason and Chris hid in the shadows. Something tapped on the outside of the door. "Nopenopenopenopenope-" The door began to open and Stephanie held it shut, terrified. A small eye peeked in through one of the holes in the door and the began opening again. Stephanie and Mat both had to hold it shut yo keep it from opening all the way.

"He is watching us." A young voice whispered. "We have to go now. See you again soon~" When they left, Matthew let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"When your guide comes back online, he is going to tell you that he was unsuccessful. That you must restart the system manually. He will then tell you to crawl through Ballora Gallery as fast as you can to reach the breaker room. If you follow his instructions, you will die. Ballora will not return to her stage anymore. She will catch you. The power will be restored shortly. When you crawl through Ballora Gallery, go slowly. She cannot see you, and can only listen for your movement. When you hear her music become louder, she is growing near. Listening for you. Wait and be still." The female voice cut off.

The Hand Unit began speaking again. "Thank you for your patience. It seems like the power system cannot be restarted automatically. You will need to restart the power system manually. Please return to the primary control module." Matthew opened the door and crawled out, handing the camera to Jason. He helped Stephanie out and started through the vent.

About halfway through, a female automated voice said, "Motion Trigger: Circus Gallery vent."

Mat and Steph got back into the Primary Control Module and waited for instructions. "You will now be required to crawl through the Ballora gallery using the vent to your left to reach the breaker room. It is recommended that you stay low to the ground, and reach the other side as fast as possible, as to not disturb Ballora. I will deactivate myself momentarily, as to not create an auditory disturbance. Deactivating..." The vent beside them opened. Matthew turned on a flashlight and went onto Ballora Gallery. Stephanie followed close behind.

After about five minutes of trying to crawl through, Hand Unit began talking again. "It seems you are taking a long time. Please proceed as quickly and as quietly as possible." He said loudly.

They made it to the other side of the room and entered the door. "You may now interface with the breaker control box. Using the interface may disrupt nearby electronics. If you feel that you are in danger, feel free to disconnect the interface temporarily, until it is safe to reconnect." Matthew got onto the interface.

"Ok, Matthew. Just restore the power to all the places in the building You'll be finE-" Matthew gave himself a pep-talk.

Funtime Freddy began speaking. "I can see you over there in the dark! C-Come on out!"

Stephanie pressed a button. A high pitched voice began talking. "Calm down and go back to sleep! No one is here!"

Matthew restored power to the elevator.

"Bon-Bon, say "hi" to our friends!" Funtime Freddy shouted.

Stephanie pressed the button again. The high pitched voice spoke again. "Shh! Go back to your stage! Everything is ok."

Matthew restored power to Ballora Gallery and the Funtime Auditorium.

"I know you're over there somewhere!"

Stephanie pressed it again. "Everything is ok. Let's go back to sleep!"

Matthew restored power to Circus Gallery and the Primary Control Module.

"Hey, Bon-Bon! I think that's the Birthday boy over there! We should go give him a surprise!"

(This is repetitive, I know.) Stephanie pressed the button once more. "Oh, calm down. I think it was just a mouse!"

Matthew restored power to Observ. 1 and Observ. 2.

Funtime Freddy turned off.

Hand Unit began speaking again. "Great job. This completes your tasks for the night. Please proceed back through the Ballora gallery with care, and we'll see you back here tomorrow."

Stephanie and Matthew went back into Ballora Gallery. After a few minutes of hearing nothing, Ballora said, "Is someone there?" Matthew stayed silent. "I can hear someone creeping through my room." Stephanie stayed silent. "Perhaps not..."

They made it back to the "elevator" AKA their living room and sat down on the couch.

The Immortal and the Restless; Episode 2:

"Announcer: As the sun sets, so also does another chapter in the saga of love lust between Vlad and his distressed mistress. Can they be reconciled? Can their love rise again? That, and more happening now!

Vlad: So what? Lots of kids get hyper and run around and stuff.

Vlad: I have to go.

Clara: They're going to dock your paychecks.

Vlad: They can't do that; I'm a vampire! I don't get paychecks!

Clara: You work the graveyard shift at the Fry-Me! Taco. Don't lie to me!

Announcer: Ohhh, the humanity! When will the heartbreak end? When will these two ships passing in the night rekindle their long-lost love!? Tune in tomorrow to find out!"

I have a lot of fun writing this and I hope you have just as much fun reading it!
