The morning of the wedding had been busy. All of the citizens of Arendelle are preparing for the big wedding as the different royalties arrive from all over Auradon. Even Mal and Ben are here. Mal dressed in a signature purple dress, designed by Evie to keep Mal looking good while pregnant. Ben also arrived in his signature blue.
Another royalty arrived, being it Audrey, together with two of her other friends. Jane and Lonny. Jane was able to have her assistant Headmistress take over for a few days while she was gone and Lonny took a day off from fencing training. She would be on another competition in a few weeks.
A ship arrived in the docks, having passengers like Rapunzel her family. Her elderly parents, her husband, Eugene and their young daughter. With them are Jay and Gil who also took a few days off from their web show. They took a lift from the royalties after featuring their kingdom in their adventures.
Evie was the last one to arrive with her two top employees and personal friends, Dizzy and Celia. They arrived later than expected due to some misplaced cargo to another branch of Evie's 4 Hearts.
"Mavros!" Dizzy cheered when she saw the all too familiar hell hound just outside the gate of the castle. He recognized her and quickly galloped towards her, Celia, and Evie.
"So Hedith hadn't left yet," Celia said, checking her phone, "I swear that she told me she was leaving yesterday."
Evie chuckled and puts a hand on her shoulder, "Maybe it's a last minute decision."
"Hmm...oh well. We'll see her later."
The ceremony was a half hour away and almost everyone are in their seats. Mal and Evie are seated next to each other while the two younger girls sat on Evie's other side. Jay also sat on Ben's other side as the two converse. They were positioned around the front where the organizers but there were two vacant seats just behind Mal and Ben.
Meanwhile, Carlos has been waiting outside of Hedith's door for half an hour already. Only another half till the ceremony starts and his date is taking her precious time.
"So...how long does a man has to wait?" He asked, already expecting a blasting angry response from the Princess of the Underworld.
"Just shut up already!"
"We're gonna be late," he said, anxiously between gritted teeth. He looked into his watch as his foot started tapping. It only stopped when he heard the lock in her door clicking.
He stood straight, fixing his red and white jacket so that it wouldn't look wrinkled.
"You better look..." he looked at Hedith astonished. He hadn't seen the dress she found yesterday so it was truly a surprise for him to see her in a periwinkle dress with a touch of Greek tunic in it.
A slightly darker ribbon is tied around her waist and her shoulders were bare as the sole strap of her dress is on her left shoulder. She had done her hair and make up, herself for the reason that she doesn't trust just anyone to get what she wanted and even with that, she did it well.
Her hair is in half bun while the rest of her hair flow gracefully to the lower part of her back. A few hair framed her face while her forehead lays bare and seen.
Carlos can't help but smile at the sight of her, "...beautiful."
Hedith was quick to walk ahead of Carlos to hide the heat of her face and brushed off the speed of her beating heart.
"Yes, now don't we have a wedding to attend to?"
---
It was a close five minutes till the ceremony when Carlos and Hedith arrived. They quickly went to their seats, shocking their friends that Hedith didn't even noticed.
"Hedith?" Mal called and Hedith quickly turned around. She was too preoccupied with the thought that they might be late to realize that her sister and her friends are also in the venue. She smiled at the sight of both Mal and Evie and if she wasn't in a different row from them, she would've hugged the two.
"I see you came in as late as the usual," Celia teased.
"Classic Hedith," Dizzy added.
"Where were you two?" Evie asked, looking at the two suspiciously.
"Hedith thought it was a grand idea to sleep in," Carlos said with a smile which earned a smack on the arm from the said person.
"It was his idea to wait," she tried defending herself, but failed miserably.
"It would be rude to have your date come by herself," he said, cheekily. All four girls looked at Hedith with a shock expression and then back to Carlos. Mal was about to speak when the wedding march started to play.
"We'll talk later."

Wedding is always a wonderful occasion. A wonderful moment where two souls shines bright for a unity. Mal and Hedith ravels at the sight of Anna and Kristoff's soul shining together once their wedding vows were sealed. Many cried, many cheered for the newlyweds and some were silently clapping from their seats.
The reception was held in the ballroom of the castle. The couple sat in front of everyone in their own table. Elsa sat not far from them together with Olaff, Sven and Marshmallow. Yes, even the gentle giant snowman was invited. However, Olaff's other siblings were left back in Elsa's ice castle.
Meanwhile, Mal and Ben are tabled together their friends. Hedith is sitting beside her sister as Carlos sits on her other side. Ben sat on Mal's other side. Evie, Jane, Audrey, Jay and Lonny also sat with them. Celia and Dizzy's at the next table.
"I love your dress, Hedith," Evie said, leaning her head against her palm.
"I thought you would," Hedith grinned and fiddled with the skirt of her dress, "I actually only tweaked it. I liked the color and how almost Greek it looked, but I did a few touches on it."
"You did that? No wonder you slept in," Carlos said, taking a sip on his cup of iced tea.
"Hedith will do what she wants," Mal commented, smiling slyly at her sister.
"That's awesome. If you are not going to be running your dad's kingdom, why not work for me again?" Evie teased and Hedith laughed.
"That's unlikely."
"Your business had been so successful since the last time we met a few years ago," Audrey said, addressing to Evie, "It'll be a lot more busy now that you're planning on your wedding with Doug."
Evie smiled at the reminder and flexed her engagement ring to the group, "Oh, isn't Doug wonderful? He chose the perfect ring."
"Lucky," Lonny stated, "Another's one getting married in our batch. When will you be getting married, Jane?"
Jane stopped in her mid-sip and blushed at Lonny's question, "Um...well. Florent and I haven't discussed marriage yet."
"What a bomber," Lonny laughed and turned to Hedith and Carlos, "Well, how about you, Lover boy? You're now dating Hedith, right?"
The two blushed at the claim and almost choked on their foods. Mal gently rubbed her sister's back to help her calm down. Lonny eyed the two in bewilderment and wondered if her claims were wrong.
"We are not dating," Hedith was the first to clarify things.
"But you came in together," Jay said, putting an arm around Lonny, "If that's not a sign of dating, I don't know what."
"You have been crushing on him since we were teens," Audrey grinned and Hedith hid her face behind her hand before peeking through to see Jane's reaction. It just suddenly became awkward.
"Wait, does he know?" Evie gently asked, pointing at Carlos.
"Yes," Carlos answered, looking away with a blush. Jay laughed at his best friend's reaction and hits him on the arm.
"If I don't know you, I'd probably say you're still hang up on Jane."
"Mindless idiot," Hedith muttered and regained her composure.
"Of course not," Carlos was quick to say and turned to Jane for a brief second.
"Jane and I ended things clean and peacefully. Don't we, Jane?" he casually asked the woman in question and she smiled at him. One that has no other meaning in it.
"Of course. And if he started dating again, I would have no problem," she said and smiled towards Hedith. On the other hand, Hedith doesn't feel too comfortable having this as a topic so she tried finding another that will surely redirect the conversation.
"Lonny, how about before pining into someone else's life, you worry about yours and Jay's? Jay, when will you finally ask her out. You've been flirting for a long time," she said, smirking evily at the two. And as planned the attention of the group was directed to the sweetest couple on the table. Not that they're official.
Mal whispered something into Ben's ear and the king whispered something under his breath to which Mal glared at him at.
"I'm just pregnant, not helpless," she said and tapped her sister's shoulder, catching her attention, "Let's go for a walk. Evie?"
Without a word, Evie stood up and Mal excused themselves from the group. They headed towards the newlyweds first to extend their congratulations before doing a beeline to the veranda.
"Thank you for the save," Hedith sighed and leaned against a column.
"You're not really a group kind of person," Evie chuckled and helped Mal to sit on the chair, "And Mrs Preggy here need a day off from public eyes."
"True, but don't make it sound like we're introverts, extrovert," Mal chided making the blue haired girl laugh.
"Honestly, I could use a day off too," she said.
"I heard it's rare for a CEO to take a break," Hedith said, crossing her arms, "Even more tiring than a royal's job."
"I don't really know how you royalties do it," Evie replied.
"Exhausting," the sisters said in unison.
"Draining."
"How long is your stay until you return?" Evie asked Hedith and Hedith made a gesture.
"A month, dad say," she replied.
"I bet Persephone let you have an extra month," Mal added and Hedith snapped her fingers at her, signing that she, Persephone, actually did.
Evie smiled and leaned on the other column,"So about six more weeks."
"Why not stay until the baby comes?" Mal suggested making Hedith wonder, herself.
"I would love to, but I don't know what else I'd do in Auradon. The only reasons I did was for two things. The gifts and the soul snatcher," she said, still finding anything to do in Auradon, "Plus, Dad'll go crazy with only Pain and Panic with him."
"Isn't Persephone's with her mom here, too?" Mal asked, offering an idea to her sister.
"Demeter doesn't like me."
"Ahh, stingy in-laws of Hades," Evie pointed out and the sisters sighed, "You too, Mal?"
"Don't worry. Demeter's just a cranky goddess," Mal said in assurance, "She doesn't like a lot of people."
"How about you work for me for the meantime?" Evie offered again.
"You're not tricking me, Evie. And how is that a vacation for you?"
"Worth a try."
"Excuse me, Miss?" All three of them went to the doorway and saw Carlos leaning against the door with a smile on his face, "Mind if I borrow Hedith for a moment?"
"You dare say that to me?" Hedith asked in a playful threatening voice.
"What if I say you can't?" Mal asked, challenging him.
"Oh please, girls. Let the boy have his girl," Evie teased, smiling at Hedith who glared at her in the corner of her eyes.
"I'm just asking," Carlos said, unfazed with whatever Evie said, "But seriously. Mavros is creating a scene outside."
All three of them had an eye contact, knowing that Carlos is just making that up. But nevertheless, Hedith pushed herself off the column and waved at them. She left with Carlos as her two sisters watch with a fond smile behind them.
"Shouldn't we tell her that Teri invited him for his party?" Evie asked Mal and she shrugged.
"Maybe later. For now, let her have fun."
---
"You should really improve your lying," Hedith told Carlos as she walk along the edge of the bridge that connects the castle and the city. It wasn't a news to them that Hedith doesn't like large gatherings and party and it's not exactly a date if Hedith is spending time with other people. So Carlos decided to pull Hedith away from the party and her sisters (as impossible as it may be) to take her out on the silent night in Arendelle grounds
"It's that obvious?"
"Mavros is trained well. He wouldn't do doing something out of norms," she pointed out.
"So why did you agree then?" Carlos asked.
"Because you're cute and also I know you asked me to be your date for the wedding and it's cheating if I stay with Mal and Evie," Hedith answered, stopping on her steps and faced the waters.
"You think I'm cute?"
"Did I say that?" she feigned and Carlos shook his head, "I don't like repeating myself."
"You don't like a lot of things," Carlos pointed out to where Hedith grinned at.
"You know what? Yeah, how about I vent all that," she said, confusing Carlos for a while as she took a deep breath, "I DON'T LIKE PEOPLE NOSING INTO MY BUSINESS!"
"Seriously?" He chuckled and Hedith continued.
"I DON'T LIKE YOU, TOO, DEMETER! SO SUCK IT OFF!"
"You just cursed on a goddess."
"I DON'T LIKE JELLY BEANS!"
"Now that's random."
Hedith turned to him and offered a hand, "Try it. It's fun."
"Looks like it," he lets Hedith pull him up and now he stood beside him, "I DON'T LIKE MY MOM'S FUR COAT!"
"There you go!"
"THEY'RE SO SMELLY, I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW SHE LIKED THEM SO MUCH!"
Hedith laughed and bent down to remove her heels, "I DON'T LIKE OPEN HEELS! THEY GIVE BLISTERS TO MY FEET!"
"I DON'T LIKE FAMILY REUNIONS!"
"I DON'T LIKE PEOPLE POINTING OUT I'M MALEFICENT'S DAUGHTER!"
"I DON'T LIKE TAXES!"
"I DON'T LIKE BITTER GOURD!"
"I DON'T LIKE GETTING PUNCHED BY JAY!"
"I DON'T LIKE PINK!"
"I DON'T LIKE SWAMPS!"
"I DON'T LIKE....You know what? I'm done," Hedith said, laughing at the little activity they had.
"I have one more to scream to the Arendellan waters," Carlos said, his smile looking serene under the moonlight.
"Yeah?"
He took a deep breath and readied himself for a final blow, "AND MOST ESPECIALLY... I LIKE HEDITH!"
Carlos laughed at the last one and was glad that he had finally let it out. His growing affection for the girl started when she stepped into his clinic for the first time. He started looking at her in a new light. Something different from her mischievious younger self that always terrorized her.
His decision of being single had been brought into question that moment and he decided to try to get close to her. It was hard since she was obviously pushing him away but conversations worked and soon, she is less aggressive. And he came into the conclusion to try it.
Knowing that she had a previous crush on him doesn't hurt for a boost.
He turned to see Hedith's expression and she is shocked, to say the least. Her eyes wide and mouth agaped. Even with that expression, Carlos can't help but smile.
"You hear that?" He asked, fully facing her.
"I..." Hedith started, her voice laced with confusion. She shifted and took a step back from him, "...that's nice."
"What? Nice how?" His voice almost faltered and leaned closer to Hedith. There was a moment that he thought he could kiss her and he wants to. But knowing Hedith, if he do, she would smack him across the face.
Hedith stared at him in the eyes, her face carrying an expression that Carlos had never seen her wear. She looked almost scared. And it also brought him confusion.
"Hedith?" He grabbed her arm gently and she yanked it away.
"I'm sorry, Carlos. Let me have time to think."
She jumped off the ledge and ran into the castle. Carlos never saw her the next morning. She left during the night
