A CODE MADE BY DUNECLAN AND RIDGECLAN ANCESTORS PART

 OF AN EMPIRE, IT HAS NEVER CHANGED SINCE. 

I. NEVER betray your loyalty to your clan. your destiny in your clan must be kept in that clan.

II. DO NOT take advantage of the monarch or deputy, or you will be exiled.

III. MEDICINE CATS must not have a mate or kits unless said so by the monarch. 

IV. QUEENS, ELDERS, and kits must eat first after the monarch does, in order to keep up their strength.

V. SKY-WATCHERS must keep themselves on duty so they can watch the sky accurately.

VI. TERRITORY LINES and boundaries must be kept in tact with the other clan. patrols will be sent each few days for this check-up unless said otherwise.

VII. EACH CAT MUST contribute to the clan. if they do not, they will be questioned.

VIII. THERE WILL BE NO clanmates of halfblood who have transferred. you can not have a mate from another clan unless you're monarch or deputy.

IX. IF YOU KILL prey, you must eat it or give it up. there will be no killing for fun. if you do, or do not feed those desired first, you will be in depth of exile.

X. RESPECT YOUR clan with all of your heart. you put them first, but do not let the other clan fall or fade out if they're on the edge. 

XI. GIVE YOUR DAILY respect to your spirit and deceased friends. once a year, there will be a frozen lake where spirits can be seen. you may attend to do so.

XII. THE MONARCH'S children may not become monarch unless said so. 

XIII. DO NOT destroy sacred tradition or any artifacts from the past. you will be exiled. 

XIV. APPRENTICES WILL BECOME warriors at fifteen moons only. no less or more unless held back.

XV. WHEN ON PATROLS, make sure that you follow the leader. 

XVI. THE HIGH PRIEST must be fully trained by the chief priest before they can move up a rank.

XVII. A VIGIL must be held whenever a cat passes or becomes injured.

XVIII. THERE WILL BE no interclan fighting. it is not tolerated or allowed.

XIX. THE LEADER'S word is gold, and what they say is true. you must follow it.

XX. MAKE SURE YOU follow with the terms and beliefs of the clan. they are important.
