Anastasia's POV:

The night has passed in the blink of an eye. When I opened my eyes, it was already Morning. I sprung out of the bed to get ready for the day. By the time I was ready, Alice and Marlene woke up. But the problem was Lily a heavy sleeper. I started waking her up, but from past 15 mins all she could say was "5 more Mins, Ana". Alice and Marlene left me alone to deal with Lily as it was late. It was getting late, I didn't wanted to be late on the first day for the first class, I had to wake Lily up so I said, "Lily wake up. Now. Or else, I'll have to force you". Lily woke up as soon as those words left my mouth. When we reached the Great hall, it was filled with students. Professor McGongall came to us and handed our years schedule to each of us. I didn't even bother to check my timetable, I was hungry and all I wanted now was food. To my surprise, when I reached the Great Hall the breakfast was over, and only a Goblet filled with Pumpkin juice was left. Without thinking twice, I gulped down the juice.

As I was checking my time table, Potter said " You owe me, Wilson".  "Huh?" Was all I could reply, as I was clueless of what he was talking about. I think he understood my state and replied "That was my Pumpkin juice, which you drank just now".
"Thank you, Potter. And yes I owe you". I said and continued checking my timetable.

"Pass me your timetable, Wilson". This time it was Black. "No, I won't. And, why do you want my timetable Black?" I questioned him in return.
"So that's a No?" Asked Black.
"Yes" I said.
"I guess, you'll have to get her timetable by using Summoning Charm Padfoot" said Potter. And true to the Potter's words, Black did the exact thing. "Thanks Mate" Sirius smirked at me.

 After scanning through my timetable, "Looks like we have got a company Prongs" said Black, to which Potter smiled Mischievously at me. I instantly got to know what his smile meant. "Don't Potter. Don't you even dare to think about getting me a detention" I warned. "Woman, I never thought of this in the first place. But now you've mentioned, we'll look into it" said Potter glancing at Black and smirking. "Don't worry Darling, I'll make sure you'll get a detention by none other than Professor McGongall" said Black with a smirk plastered on his face. "You're sick, Black", I said and grabbed my timetable from his hands and made my way to the DADA class, as it was our first period of the day.

I saw Lily sitting all alone in the class and went up to her and sat beside her. Lily saw my face, and started laughing like a mad woman to which she earned a glare from me. "Ana, it's clearly written on your face, that Marauders happened again. So what happened this time?" Lily asked. I narrated her the whole incident, which happened a few minutes back in the Great Hall. " Don't worry Ana, I promise you that they won't cause you any trouble. Because, those jerks have to face me first" said Lily with pride. "Sure, Sure Lily, let's see" I said not believing her words. By that time, the class was filled with Slytherins and Gryffindors. Soon, our new DADA professor Charles Sampson came and introduced himself. Professor Sampson was very cool and calm. He taught us some non-verbal spells and made us to practice with our partners. This is how our First DADA class of the year went.
Next, I and Alice had charms with Ravenclaw, whereas Lily and Marlene had Herbology with Hufflepuff. In the Charms class, Alice went and sat with Frank her boyfriend. Thanks to my introvert ass I didn't know any Ravenclaw and my eyes automatically landed on a fellow Gryffindor. I made my way to Remus who was sitting alone. "Is this seat reserved Remus?" I asked as his friends where nowhere to be seen. "Oh! Hey Anastasia. No, this seat is not reserved" said Remus.
"Can I sit here, if you don't mind?"
"Yeah, Anastasia you can sit". He said with a smile and made space for me to sit.
"Umm.. Anastasia, I saw what happened back in the Great hall, and I'm extremely sorry for what they did to you" Remus apologized, which shocked me to hell. I wonder how this guy tolerates his friends.
" Remus, it's Potter and Black who should apologize, not you. Don't worry I'll forgive them, only for this time." I said. "Thank you so much, Anastasia!" Remus said with the smile on his face. Soon Professor Flitwick arrived, gave us some notes about the Silencing Charm, taught us how to cast it and without wasting any time, made a quick revision of Substantive Charm.

By the time Charms got over, it was already Noon. I didn't feel like going to the great hall as I was in no mood to deal with Potter and Black, so I decided to go to the Black lake. But my plan failed, as Lily came running to me and dragged me with her to the Great hall. Thank Merlin! Black only glanced at me but didn't make any comment. As I was silently having my lunch, Lily's loud scream brought my attention back to her.
"Potter! You are a jerk. I'd rather date a giant squid than you. How many times do I need to repeat this? I don't like you Potter, I only hate you. Get this into your pea-sized brain" Lily said with a anger radiating off from herself. The Slytherins erupted into laughter hearing Lily's words. Without hearing Potter's reply, she again dragged me away from the great hall to Transfiguration class. After some time, Professor McGongall arrived with the strict aura which was screaming that she would take no excuses on her first class. She taught us how to transfigure cauldron cakes to cabbages, and she being superfast started giving instructions on how to cast it. With Potter and Black sitting behind us, it was hard to concentrate,  as they were disturbing us. What  Potter did next, made everyone to turn their head towards us. He had jinxed our bench, which resulted in Lily and I falling on the the floor, which not only disturbed the whole class but also disturbed Professor McGongall.
"Potter! Black!" Lily and I screamed in anger and embarrassment to which they both were smirking, thinking that they succeeded in getting us a Detention. But soon their smirk died off when Professor McGongall just glared at us and resumed her class. Finally, the bell rang, professor dismissed the class but asked us( Lily and I) to meet her at the end of the day.
