Anastasia's POV

September 1st 1976

As I arrived at the platform  9 3/4, I saw many first year students crying their heart out as they were leaving their families for an entire year, well Christmas leave apart. I sighed as I couldn't find Lily or any of my best friends. The thought of them arriving late crossed my mind, and I again started searching for them in the crowd.
 
"Searching for me, Wilson" Black said as he came beside me flipping his hair out of his eyes.

" Why would I search for you Black, in fact who on the earth would search for an hungry lion in the jungle? If you know what I mean."

"Some people like you would search, Wilson." He replied with the smirk on his face and made his way to the Hogwarts express, without giving me a chance to reply to his comment.

I stomped my foot hard, felt angry with myself for letting Black win this argument. " Well, Anastasia what a good start of a year " muttering this to myself, I stepped onto the Hogwarts Express and made my way to our usual compartment, where my friends would always settle themselves.

"Ana!" Marlene squealed, as she grabbed me inside the compartment.
"If you don't shut your mouth now Marlene, I'll have to silence you by force." Lily warned her, with the wand in her hand and her cheeks burning with anger.

" Someone's in the bad mood I guess, Marlene" I said and asked Lily " What might be the reason for your anger Lily flower?" to which I earned a smack on my head from Lily, who in return replied "As if you don't know" and started narrating the whole Potter incident.

Soon, less than a minute, I drifted off to  sleep as I  was not interested in Lily's blah blah...
But, when I woke up we were at Hogwarts, I soon changed into my uniform and with Lily, Alice and Marlene made our way to carriages, and made our way to Hogwarts castle.

"Lily, I see someone's eager to get into the castle" commented Alice referring to me, I rolled my eyes and made a bolt towards the Great Hall.

As soon as I entered the Great hall my eyes scanned for, Black who was nowhere to be found. With the thought of no one troubling me, I made my way to the Gryffindor table and sat at my usual seat. But Boy, I was wrong to think of no one Disturbing me as Potter bombarded me with his questions.

"Hey Wilson, how are you? How's your Grandmother?"

"I'm fine Potter, and she's doing good."

"I heard that you met Padfoot on the way."

"Just tell me is there anything at all that you don't know about Black?"

"There's nothing that I don't know about him Wilson. We are more like brothers than friends, we all are" James said with a smile on his face and gaze on his friends. "Oh! Wait, why are you alone? Where are your friends?" I soon realized which friend he was talking about.

"Potter, cut the crap and come to point" I said with gritting my teeth.

"Okay, Where's Evans?" He asked with curiosity
"Potter, if you really care so much for her, you could have escorted her to great hall yourself, rather than asking me." I replied to which he glared at me, because he didn't get the expected reply from me.

Soon Lily came with Alice and Marlene, sorting of first years was completed by the time they came. Professor Dumbledore gave the same long speech, after which the dinner finally arrived.

Sirius Black came after awhile winking and smiling, but Thank to Merlin! he didn't even glance at me nor did Potter troubled Lily. Soon after the dinner, Lily and I made our way to our dorm, unpacked our trunk, and drifted off to sleep as we had to attend the first class of our 6th year tomorrow.
