The movie was surprisingly fun for Jungkook. He kept staring at the black screen after the TV was already turned off by the human.

"That was amazing," he said and turned his head to Taehyung, who was cleaning their empty glasses. It was past midnight and they really should go to sleep. At least, Taehyung should.

"I'm glad you liked it, it's one of my favorites!"

"so, those green people, what were they again?"

"orcs, a made up creature from the fantasy genre."

"They looked funny. So, you think they are scary?"

"well, if they were real i would definitely be scared of them"

Jungkook hummed and compared himself to those orcs. He did look nothing like them, yet he brought people absolute bone chilling fear. He wondered how human's their brains work.

"Are you ready for bed?"

"ready when you are, '' Jungkook smiled. and stood up to follow taehyung around until he headed to the bedrooms. Smiling all the way, Jungkook was clearly just happy to be here.

He didnt even ask for anything other than glasses of water. it surprised taehyung at first how jungkook was not hungry, but then he got why. Jungkook didnt want to tell him what he did to those men, but seeing how Jungkook refused all his snack offers saying he was already full revealed the truth to him. It did shake him inside, knowing he saw them alive and now they were no longer alive. a strange and scary thought. But he kept his opinions neutral.

"so, uhm if you want you can sleep in the guest room?" Taehyung said as they stood in the hallway.

"won't you let me sleep next to you? i would feel so lonely"

"a-ah well, uhm. well..." taehyung didnt know what to say. he doesn't want to say 'no' but also not immediately saying 'yes'. He actually kind of wanted jungkook to be close to him. It just felt right. But he doesn't want to rush things, maybe jungkook didnt even like him like that.

who was he kidding... Jungkook literally said he likes him... yet he couldn't believe it was real.

"pleeeaaseee? ~"Jungkook said cutely and made puppy eyes. And who was taehyung to say no to that, he sighed at the raven's action.

"Fine, you can sleep in my bed. but i lay left side"

"whatever you say cutie" jungkook grinned and followed the human into the bedroom where they brushed their teeth and got ready for bed. Taehyung was the first in the bed scrolling through his phone while he waited for Jungkook to finish in the bathroom, who was washing himself before sleep. He doesn't want taehyung to have his bed smell like the salty sea, which was almost impossible to prevent because it was literally Jungkook's natural smell, he doesn't smell like roses or fresh soap, he was born and raised in the sea, sea water was a part of him.

It took him a while to get out all fresh and his hair loose. Taehyung glanced past his phone screen and his eyes got captured by the figure of the siren. his tall frame walking out of the bathroom, wearing the grey shorts taehyung gave him without a shirt. It wasn't like he hadn't seen Jungkook's torso naked before, but this was different. Jungkook was almost like him now. Pale legs sticking out from under the shorts, the bumps that hid the spikes underneath his skin. he just looked so sexy.

When Jungkook noticed him staring, the human quickly looked away pretending he was just about to put his phone away and he wasn't looking. But Jungkook had already seen it, and you couldn't not miss the shy look on Taehyung's face while he struggled to get the charger in the phone correctly.

"Were you looking at meee?~"Jungkook sang softly, his voice sounded like a soft ocean wave. It was so calming yet angelic. Siren's voices were really enchanting, Taehyung could listen to his voice all day.

He wondered what it would be like if he sang to him.... but that would be dangerous.

"N-no"

"Oh really? then why are you blushing?" Jungkook chuckled and turned off the main lights of the room before getting on the bed, standing on his knees and hands to look at the human with a smirk.

"im not! don't say that" taehyung averted his eyes and tried his best to calm down his heart. but it won't listen. So after a few seconds he looked back at the raven to see him still staring at him, and this time he couldn't look away.

He felt drawn into these eyes, these glowing eyes that held a whole sky. The icy blue color didnt scare him, it was quite inviting the more he looked into them. Slowly a smile appeared on Jungkook's face and he laid down pulling the covers over himself. "you're so cute!" He said, making Taehyung flustered again.

Why was Jungkook affecting him so much? He never thought these feelings would feel so intense, he just wants everything. He felt like locking his doors and never let the siren leave. But obviously he won't do that. but he would be lying if he said wouldn't be sad when jungkook had to go back again. And just like that he felt a bit disappointed when Jungkook looked away and started staring at the ceiling. He wanted to look at him some longer... he enjoyed it when Jungkook looked at him with those eyes, he liked it when he calls him cute.

"Are you tired?" he asked, trying to get a conversation going, he wanted to listen to his voice just a little more before he would fall asleep. What if Jungkook won't be there when he wakes up? What if he goes back? What if this was just a dream?

"Not really... but i'm awake mostly during the night... I am just awake for you in the mornings."

"for me? really, ahw, "Taehyung smiled. it made him feel special, knowing that Jungkook woke up at a different time just to see him.

"Of course, I like you. If i dont match your times i wont get to see you"

"in...'' Taehyung wanted to ask about it. but he felt shy to do so. What if he was just joking about it? What if it wasn't that serious? still... he had to ask this, he didn't have the feeling jungkook would bully him for asking such things. He gathered his courage and finished the sentence. "in.. what way you like me?"

"What a funny question" Jungkook chuckled and turned to his side. "i was expecting you to ask me at one point" The creature really took his time to make taehyung even more nervous by delaying his answer instead of directly replying to the question. "Like it said, I like you. you amuse me" the siren leaned his head on his hand so he could look at the human at a higher angle. "You are even prettier than us Sirens" he grinned and leaned closer, his now minty fresh breath fanning when he spoke his words. "i like you more than a normal person would, not like.... friends"

Taehyung's heart was going to explode if Jungkook did not stop. He was losing it at each word that came from his mouth. Unconsciously his hands gripped the bedsheets. The siren glanced at those hands and he chuckled, moving his hand from under the sheets to place them on top of Taehyung's, loosening the tight grip on the blankets to let the raven wrap his cold fingers around them.

That's it, Taehyung can't do this anymore. He closed his eyes and hid himself behind his hand. He whined softly to himself, Jungkook was doing things to him and Jungkook knew damn well the effect he has.there is no way the raven can do all this co confidently without noticing the effect he has.

"Are you getting flustered now?" Jungkook chuckled again and his hand let go of the human's to place it gently against taehyung's warm cheek.

"You're crazy," Taehyung mumbled and looked at the other.

"maybe i am, but i know what i want." jungkook sand and pulled his hand back brushing a strand of his black hair behind his ear so he can loo at the human without anything blocking his view. "and that's you"

Taehyung was at a loss for words. Did he just hear this correctly? did jungkook actually say that. he could barely believe it. Jungkook wants him? This was a new feeling that opened up inside of him. His whole body felt like it was on fire, the thought that this siren liked him like that really had a strong effect on him.

"You don't have to say anything, ''Jungkook said, noticing the lips parting and closing. The human was unable to form words. "Just sleep," Jungkook whispered and it was like his eyes were getting brighter. Taehyung instinctively stared into them and felt the raven brush his fingers through his head, an angelic tone filled his ears... then everything turned black.

Taehyung felt the weight of the blankets over his shoulders, the soft pillow under his head. and oh what a strange dream. slowly coming back to reality he fluttered his eyes open, looking at the same white door of his room that he woke up to almost every morning. He took a deep breath and stretched his legs out before rolling around.

He almost yelped when he saw that someone was sleeping next to him. The most beautiful person he had ever laid eyes on.

"Jungkook.." he whispered softly to himself. a name he liked pronouncing. He thought it was all just a dream, but it really happened. and Jungkook was still here. A smile formed on his lips and he examined the siren's face. This time he won't be disturbed or get flirty comments from the other, he had all the peace to look at him.

Taking in his long black lashes that rested on his cheeks with his closed eyes. or the perfect skin that had still a slight scaled texture on the edges near his jawline and nose. Even if he looked just normal from a distance, if you were looking as closely like Taehyung did, you would see the small details that revealed he was in fact not a human. He just looked like them, pretending to be one of them.

But the thing that really caught his eyes were the closed grills that were on his neck. they were just lines on his skin, no gap to breathe the water through. but still, they were there. Taehyung hasn't noticed it before because he is used to seeing them. and a lot of the time his long hair would cover most of them. He never really paid attention to it before.

As much jungkook might look like a human, he was and would always still be a creature from the sea. This was all just temporarily.... That's a thought that saddened Taehyung a little... Jungkook might be here now, but he can't stay forever.

Jungkook did not belong here...
