Sirens. Some of the nastiest creatures of the sea. They have long necks and snake like bodies for wrapping around their prey.
Long spike like fins ran down the beasts back, when threatened they shot hot water out of their jaws. But what made the Sirens so terrifying was the Siren Call.
The Sirens released a call to lure their enemies into a trance leading them to their doom.
And the army of LGBT+ was smack in the center of a battle with them. Everyone in this army was, well the opposite of straight.
The army of LGBT+ fought bravely against the screaming Sirens. Swords rage against scales, shield banged against claw.
The once peaceful valley was now stained with blood and scales, nearby mountains carried the sound of battle to neighboring meadows and towns.
Even in battle the mammoth valley somehow retained its beauty. Giant, snow-tipped mountains created a half circle around the meadow, showered the land with shadows that matched the evil hearts of the Sirens.
The army had been planning a battle strategy for months. Everything had been perfectly laid out. The troops hide in the trees and bushes and would take the Sirens by storm.
However, when they were about to strike the Sirens called out to their forces and ,attacked the LGBT+ from behind, turning the tides against humans.
Seven soldiers, Flynn, Alice, Jia, Amy, Brooke, Alex, and Rhys were backed up against a circle of trees fighting for their lives.  Sword against claws.
Amy, a Pansexual girl, was cool but a cold person depending on her actions as she doesn't usually talk that much, however she wouldn't hesitate to call you out on you or your crap.
Brooke, a spunky Hetero, a care free spirit, with a sarcastic tongue, but as good as she may be on the battle field, off it she was a hot mess.
Jia, a Bisexual warrior who has been described as heartless, but mainly because she distances herself from people. However she can be very introverted and stubborn.
Alice, a Bisexual girl who can be a total loner other than when she's with her closes friends, in that case she can be a total nerd.
Fynn, a Pansexual furry, she has a very short temper and can easily be pushed of the edge. She is very introverted and prefers to be by herself. She would prefer to train in combat then spend time with others.
Rhys, a Transgender bro and a introverted lone wolf, he only really comes out to his closes friends. He is a sarcastic smol bean and won't hesitate to give you a piece of his mind.
Alex, born female but eh. Sexuality , unknown . The most extroverted of the bunch and also the angriest, also the one who swears the most.
The seven warriors balanced against one another, trying not to lose their heads. Literally.
" Sirens! Why FREAKING Sirens!!!" Alex cursed loudly, attacking her opponent with fire bending
" Oh sure, like we'd be fighting a war with bunnies!!" Brooke yelled sarcastically. Trying to hit the scaled creature with a chunk of Earth.
These seven warriors were some of the last benders alive in the land, they are able to connect to elements and bend them at will. Flynn can connect with fire, Brooke can bend Earth, Jia bends water, Rhys controls Nature, Alex can also bend fire, Alice controls Air, and Amy connects with Earth.
The scaled beast fighting Flynn and Rhys, suddenly spun its massive tail around in attempt to hit the two benders. Flynn cursed avoided the blow, however Rhys wasn't so luck.
The Siren's tail hit the warrior square in the chest threw him backward into the rocks behind him.
"Yessssssssssss" Rhys mumbled. The battling benders all stopped fighting to turn and look at their fallen companion. Sharing looks of utter confusion for the male, Amy slowly waved her hand and shifted a nearby leaf to cover Rhys's face. "He'll be fine." Jia said.
Growling, Flynn turned to face the beast, her eyes as red as the fire glowing in her hand, the flame warrior lunged toward the group of Sirens.
Flynn dodged the claws and teeth, swinging her sword around to meet the man-eating beast head on.
Within the next 3 minutes burn marks, scales, and blood littered the grass, and in the a bender with anger issues. Alice, Jia, Amy, Brooke, Alex, and Rhys just stared at the girl in shock, however all they got was a smile.
Suddenly, every warrior on the battle field lay on the ground, hands over ears, screaming in pain.
Alice lifted her head, her head spinning with pain, through her blurred vision she could barley make out the school of Sirens pooling together, singing their deadly song.
One by one soldiers stood up lost in the deadly beauty of the song.
Alice lifted her hand, gathering up all her remaining strength to bend her element creating an air prison around the her other benders and friends.
Inside Alice's air trap it was quite, the Siren's call couldn't reach the ears of the benders.
One by one they raised their heads, recovering from the call.
" .... Ow my head...what happened?" Amy groaned.
" We just got our butts kicked, that's what happened." Brooke said sarcastically.
However her witty remark was cut short by the sight in front of her.
Sirens were hovered over the valley, releasing their graceful song. Every single warrior the group had ever fought alongside with was dead within seconds. The Sirens howled in victory, thinking they had won the battle, however this wasn't the case.
Brooke, Jia, Alice, Fynn, Rhys, and Alex looked each other in the eyes, and a spark was ignited.
Alice nodded her head, and with a wave of her hand the barrier was gone.
Within minutes the group, bruised, tired, cold, and hungry, ran towards the scaled-beasts, elements in hand and a flames in their hearts.
The Sirens were so busy on their victory meal, they didn't notice the band of warriors approaching them from behind.
Amy and Brooke, crept up on the Sirens and when they least expected it, the pair trapped the devils in an earth like prison, they looked like a Siren sandwich.
Alice and Rhys, who had surprisingly recover from his blow to the head, charged towards giant man-eating sandwich and two benders. When he had reached the battle, Alice bended the air, launching the male into the sky. Using the air as a lead, Rhys summoned vines from the surrounding cliffs and rocks and tied the Sirens between the chunks of earth, trapping them.
The attack was going perfectly, Fynn, Jia, and Alex, attacking from below, and Alice, Amy, Brooke and Rhys attacking from the sides.
However the Sirens saw a flaw in their plan, the devilish creatures lashed and clawed at the rocks and vines, freeing their scaled hide.
The warriors stood in shock at the beast breaking free of their prison, till they were freed and towering over them.
" Oh crap." Brooke whimpered.
" Well... at least we made a sandwich." Fynn shrugged. Only to receive glares from her teammates.
"  What? I'm hungry. Fynn said.
"LESS CHATTING, MORE FIGHTING!!" Rhys yelled.
The benders stampede towards the enemy head on. They fought for what felt like hours, each side getting more and more tired.
All of the warriors fought bravely, however the Sirens had the advantage, and it was t long before they were backed up in another corner.
They were on the edge of the cliff.
Stones broke off the edge of the rock face as the band came closer and closer to the edge, they struck blow after blow, hit after hit, and strike after strike, but they were out of breath and had no fight left in them.
In last attempt at victory, Amy lifted a chunk of earth out from underneath the Sirens feet. But she was to weak to keep it airborne and her attack only made them angrier.
The Sirens roared together causing the ground to crack and shake. The team shared terrified looks, and one thing went through their minds.
The Sirens now towered high over the band. Their shadows loomed down on them, but the darkness didn't hide the spark that flashed through Alice's eyes.
Everything seemed to go in slow motion as the Sirens lunged toward the gang, the benders stood there in shock, the Sirens came closer and closer.
Then Alice did the most reckless thing they'ed ever seen.
Alice took a step forward and raised her arms to form an air shield.
The moment the Siren hit the barrier a massive air current battled and fought the benders.
But it was too strong.
And with that the warriors screamed as they tumbled into the ocean and disappeared under the surface.
