Chapter6
I blinked open my tired eyes. I saw Via sitting next to me fingering her scar. She traced it all the way to her chin. "Good morning." She smiled. Her hair was full of sand and messy. Mine probably looked like that too. Sunny groaned and stretched her arms. She rubbed her eyes. "Good morning Sabrina." Sunny smiled weakly. Everyone looked so tired. Geminisis yawned. He scratched his head and gazed at Via worriedly. "Via, that scar looks worse." He ran over to her and traced the scar with his finger. He pulled out a spray and squirted some on Via's scar. I guess Sunny told him what herbs had healing properties. He rubbed it in. "I'm fine." Via grunted. I stared at the ocean, thinking about the events of yesterday. I heard a strange music. The music created an invisible rope that pulled me towards a rotted shipwreck. The boy from yesterday walked up and sat next to me. "By the way, I'm Theo." He looked at me with those eyes. I kept staring at the ocean. I pulled off my sandals and dipped my feet into the water. It was cold. I shivered. "Did you even hear me?" Theo asked annoyed. I payed him no attention. I couldn't think. I continued into the ocean until water was up to my knees. I rolled my pants up all the way. The water swirled and mesmerized me with its beauty. "Hello? Sorry I don't know your name; do you hear me?" Theo followed me into the water. "Hello?" Theo ran towards me and when he caught up, he waved his hand in front of my face. I was drowsy. I couldn't stop going in. It was pulling me in. I was in a trance. I couldn't think. He looked at me weird. He widened his eyes. "Stop!! You're going to die!" Theo shouted. He grabbed my arm. I didn't care, as long as I got to that shipwreck. Theos skinny arms pulled me towards the beach. Via and Sunny ran towards me. I payed them no mind. My eyes were glazed over. I could tell Via and Sunny were pulling me too. I snarled, pulling free of their grasp. I continued to the shipwreck. The water was up to my waist. Via shrieked. Theo screamed. Sunny sang. It was a weird noise. They kept doing it. I could hear them. What were they doing? My mind pulled free of the invisible rope pulling me towards the ship. I could think! My mind was free from that weird trance! My legs kept moving. I glanced around worriedly. My body was my prison. I couldn't talk. The water was up to my chest. I tried to scream but with no avail. My mind squirmed. I was panicking. Suddenly, a claw grabbed my leg and jerked me below the depths. I could hear Theo, Via and Sunny screaming. My eyes burned in the salty water. I cried. I'm going to be fine, I can breathe underwater. I told myself this over and over. I tried to scream but choked on seawater instead. My vision went woozy, then I blacked out.
