Sira's pov
We pushed open the second door with ease then shivered as a stiff and icy wind hit me. John looked perfectly fine as i tucked my wings in close in an attempt to stay warm. My tail slid across the snow, making a small trail in the fresh snow. After a few minutes of walking we come across a long branch that covered the trail. I step over it with ease and john follows behind. A silence held the forest as we were amazed at the beauty of this snowy forest. After walking a ways we hear a large snapping sound and john and i turn quickly to see the large branch completely shattered. My hand rested on my sword handle, ready to grab at any second as i turn and keep walking, quickly spying a bridge that looked like someone had tried to put bars on it but horribly failed. Crunching steps sounded behind me, causing my ears to raise and for my right hand to grasp my sword. John looked to me as a deep voice rang out." Don't you two know how to greet a new pal? Turn around and shake my hands." I turned and grabbed a hand as john did the same. Pppfpfffffffffftttttttttttttt. I chuckle and so does john, my grip relaxing on my sword. The figure, who i could now see was a skeleton shorter than me by 6 inches at least, white eyelights and a never dimming smile says" the old whoopie cushion in the hands trick, its always funny." I nod and he says" my names Sans, Sans the skeleton, you guys don't look human, and you definatly aren't monsters, i would've known about a demon looking monster and one with dragon wings." " were definatly not human, not anymore anyways. My names Sira Dragonflame, and this is John, my older brother. We fell from the Void to here. The lady behind the door helped us out and sent us on our way to find our own journey." Sans nods, seeming to take in all this information" why don't i take you through the puzzles and my bro's craziness, and dragon lady you can borrow my coat, you look like your freezing out here." He hands my his faded blue coat that had fluff lining the hood. I took the coat and put it on, it fit well enough and even had some room for my wings." Thanks sans, but you will be getting this back later." He nods" its alright, you need it right now, don't want you freezing up am i right?" I chuckle softly" you said you had a brother as well?" He nods" he's a human hunting fanatic but if you fold your ears, he won't notice the tail you look human enough for him to have a good day. Don't worry he's as harmless as me, just don't hurt him." I nod" never sans, he sounds awesome." I hide my ears in my hair and we continue foward and he tells john to hide behind a lamp that looked too inconspicious to be true. I stand behind the station as the brothers bickered for a few minutes till the taller brother Papyrus took off with a roar cause of sans's puns and both of us come out and i burst out laughing from holding in the amusement from the puns. John struggles to stay standing from all the jokes that sans had said. Sans even chuckled a bit when i fell into a snowdrift out of laughter. In a minute we had all calmed down and i used my inner flame to warm myself back up. Sans then asked" i guess you two don't hear many jokes?" We shake our heads and i go to walk past him and he says as i pass," well then, expect me to launch more your ways as you continue, you've been missing on a snicker of a time!" I smile as we continue. Hours into the puzzles when we had just finished an ice block puzzle and we were climbing onto a large bridge that swayed with each step. I grabbed Johns hand in fear as we continued. John gives me a encouraging nod saying," i've got you sis, besides i see the skelebros just ahead, sans said this was the final puzzle so we're safe." I nod" i'm more worried about this bridge, it feels like theres almost nothing holding us up here." He nods and grips my arm tighter as we walk on the unsteady bridge till we reached the end and i saw something odd with my sharp eyes, the ropes were either worn by the snow and ice or someone had cut them. I nod to sans to look and in mid conversation noticed it and his eyelights darken to black and he sees papyrus flip a switch and several things came underneath and above, but that was all that the bridge could take and a snap of rope sounded, john and i start running for the safe edge of snow. But my foot catches on a plank and something blooms inside of me as i slam my hand against the plank, shattering it and a few slivers nicking me on my hands and face as the planks fell away from under us. John spread his wings and caught himself. My wings fought against the fabric that held it as i tried to remove it until i felt something grab my Soul and start pulling me up. I gasp as i look up and see sans with one eye blazing blue with papyrus holding his hand and sans's hand extended to me and i slowly raised and grabbed his hand. Fear dimmed from my senses as the two skeletons pulled me to safety and john grabbed me quickly, holding me close and safely pulling me to the snow. I gasped as i said in pure relief," thank you two so much, i don't know if i could've saved myself there." Sans nods" i should've noticed the bridge failing sooner, lets bring you back to check you over, you might be injured." I nod" i wouldn't mind a much safer mode of transportation thank you." Sans chuckles" don't worry my shortcuts are much safer than a rickety bridge." I nod and stand, he grabs my shoulder and sends us through something that was cold but not dark like the Void.
