donghyuck and jaemin were back in the car, driving towards what donghyuck claimed to be the 'fallen forest', or basically, a place where dozens of fallen demons lived.

jaemin was a bit reluctant at the idea of going to this place.

it was full of fallen demons, beings with red eyes and shitty behaviours.

plus, they had to be criminals or just out-of-laws

donghyuck had reassured him saying that those beings didn't have powers anymore, and that he was stronger than any of them, but jaemin wasn't 100% convinced by this idea.

let's say he wasn't very confident.

"you've been awfully silent." donghyuck said, looking at jaemin while driving.

"hmm..." the human hummed, not really paying attention to what the demon had said.

"why is that?"

"hmm..." he repeated.

jaemin's thoughts were a mess at the moment.

the scene of his parents' death kept repeating in his mind, his vision of the demon that killed them getting clearer every time.

will killing him help jaemin?

will he stop having these visions?

will he be healed?

will NA disappear?

these questions seemed so easy, and yet it was so hard to find a decent answer to them...

jaemin hit his head against the dashboard as donghyuck slammed on the breaks.

the demon looked at jaemin with his arms crossed on his chest as the human rubbed his forehead.

"why did you do that?" jaemin whined.

"what are you thinking about?" donghyuck asked sternly.

"i thought demons could read the mind of their human." jaemin retorted.

"yeah, but i promised to stop using my powers on you." donghyuck poked jaemin's forehead. "and i'm a man of trust."

jaemin lowered his gaze, looking at his fidgety hands on his lap.

"baby... tell me what is bothering you..." donghyuck said in a softer voice, placing his hand on jaemin's lap.

"it's just... i don't know... the fallen demons... and the fallen forest... and just... my parents..." jaemin listed. "it has nothing do you with you, don't worry..."

donghyuck smiled sadly at his human's broken persona.

jaemin was hurt.

he was a boy full of traumas.

traumas that didn't fade so easily...

"come here." donghyuck said, unbuckling jaemin's seatbelt and his own before pulling the boy onto his lap.

jaemin let out a yelp of surprise as he was carried by the demon and plopped onto his lap, a knee on each side of donghyuck's body.

donghyuck tucked a strand of hair behind jaemin's ear, letting his hand linger on the boy's jaw just after.

"we're close to the fallen forest." he whispered. "but we'll go there tomorrow, okay? i'll let you rest and do everything you want this evening, then we'll have a long night of sleep, and we'll head there tomorrow, when you feel comfortable."

jaemin nodded at donghyuck's idea.

he wasn't in the mood to go there right now.

he felt too lost.

he felt too weak.

something wasn't right.

jaemin was cut into his negative thoughts by donghyuck's lips.

the demon placed his soft lips on the human's delicate ones, caressing his jaw with his thumb as both boys closed their eyes to enjoy the warm feeling of their kiss.

donghyuck led the kiss, moving his lips to the rhythm of jaemin's heartbeat, and caressing the boy's body to make him feel his presence.

jaemin responded to the kiss, imitating donghyuck's slow movements as he leaned in further against the demon's body.

"nana?" donghyuck asked after they had parted.

"hmm...?" the human hummed, his eyes still closed as the feeling of the demon's lips still lingered onto his mouth.

"will you be my boyfriend?"

jaemin's eyes snapped open, meeting the two red orbs he had learned to love.

was everything real?

had donghyuck asked him to be his boyfriend? for real?

"b-boyfriend...?" jaemin stuttered, his heart beating madly in his chest to the point he started asking himself if it wasn't sick.

"i love you so much, nana. i know i always call you my human, because that's what you are, but i'd like you to be mine for real. so... will you make me the honour of being my boyfriend?"

happy tears left jaemin's eyes to cascade on his cheeks as he nodded his head energetically.

"y-yes. i want to be your boyfriend!"

jaemin was lying on the soft mattress at the back of the car, his hands crossed under his head as he looked at the ceiling of the car.

his earphones were pressed in his ears, blasting full-volume a playlist he had never dared to listen since his parents' death.

donghyuck had gone away for a while, saying that he needed to get information about the place to other demons. he had left jaemin alone, and jaemin was quite happy about it.

sure, he wanted to stay with his demon boyfriend, but he felt like he needed to be alone for a while today.

he would go to the 'fallen forest' the following day.

he would find the demon that killed his parents the following day.

he would kill this demon the following day.

and so, he needed time to think. time to be with his parents.

just him and his memories.

him and riles' songs.

that was why he had been crying silently for the past hour, listening to his mother's favourite artist on shuffle while thinking about them.

that was something he needed to do, as an homage to his deceased parents.

this whole hour had been triggering for the boy.

he had completely lost him mind, allowing NA to resurface.

however, for once, jaemin had managed to tame his devilish persona.

NA was there, lying in the boot of a car they had stolen.

NA was there, crying.

NA was there, listening to songs that triggered him.

but NA didn't feel the need to kill someone for once.

he just felt good, resting in the car in silence and in peace.

the human took his phone out, closing the music app and pulling the earphones out of his ears as he tossed them away, just enjoying the peaceful silence.

it felt good not to be violent sometimes...

"jaemin, baby! i'm back!"

the boot of the car opened, revealing a beaming donghyuck.

NA's persona being the one having control over the body, jaemin pulled donghyuck by his collar, pinning him onto the mattress before jumping on top of him.

"god, jaemin, you scared me." the demon chuckled as the human straddled his body.

"sorry..." jaemin said in a low voice, caging donghyuck's face between his arms.

"i see your beast-like side has appeared..." donghyuck smirked, wrapping his arms around the boy's neck only to get them pinned above his head by jaemin a second after.

"and what if...?" he growled, sending shivers through donghyuck's body.

donghyuck let out a little yelp as jaemin's hand passed under his shirt, caressing his bare skin in such a sensual way.

his skilful hand slid up donghyuck's torso, reaching his hardened nipples and lightly pinching them, causing donghyuck to moan slightly and arch his back.

"beautiful noises..." jaemin whispered, his face dangerously approaching donghyuck's.

jaemin let his hand caress donghyuck's side again until it reached his slim waist.

the human tightened his grip on his waist, making donghyuck moan again, but the noise got muffled by jaemin who has slammed his lips onto the demon's.

this kiss was way dirtier than the one jaemin and donghyuck exchanged a few hours ago on the driver seat.

this kiss was full of tongue and teeth, biting the other's lips and sucking onto his tongue harshly. moans and groans were coming out of both their mouths because of the pleasant feeling of their mouths glued together as well as the friction they were causing between their aroused bodies.

the temperature of the car had increased a lot.

"donghyuck." jaemin said as they unstuck their mouths to breathe.

"yeahhh..." the whimpering boy under him moaned as jaemin pressed his thigh between his legs.

donghyuck gulped, trying to contain a moan as jaemin's thigh pressed harder on his manhood.

it felt so different than when jaemin was his shy and bottom-like self.

but this didn't mean he didn't like it.
