|II|Episode●009● Dimwit
Sera had the forethought to drive to Etiquettes hoping Yoongi would just meet her there. On the text message that offered to her -rather ordered- a transport, she complied to switch. It was in the weakness of the moment after having to deal with a furious Jimin and an obscene emergency at work the previous day that Sera said yes to Yoongi's proposal. The man had phone-called on the buff man's(who abused Jimin) notification about the whole deal. On hearing Sera's part of the misery he proposed to take her to the place he promised would help her out of it.
She had plans to shelve the consultation, it was sceptical, but she had no aim of lending Yoongi a chance to postpone the anger which he could've otherwise showcased during their phonecall the previous night; It had been Jimin's fault majorly, after all.
Not detecting Yoongi's car anywhere after a minute of her waiting by the gate of her house, she decided to cross the threshold. Just as she turned she was met with a gasping man, the one from the grocery store the other day. He was by the gate of Kim's and Jeon's shared house. Sera feigned disregarding his presence and just as she was about to walk any further away from him, he yelled a 'wait'.
"So you live here?" he spoke getting all excited. "What a coincidence! Now we're neighbours?! I'm Jung Hoseok, the owner and choreographer of HopeWorld."
Detecting no sound waves from the other he spoke, "Oh, you might not be familiar with it. It's a dance studio. I have a youtube channel of the same name, quite popular. Not heard of it? Might've at least heard about '1million' dance studio then, I used to work there earlier."
"Do I know you, mister?"
The man dramatically brought his hands to his chest. "Oh, that definitely did hurt, I've been speaking all this time and you didn't even recognize me," he frowned playfully. "We met at the grocery yesterday, ring any bells?"
"Aahhh," Sera faked an epiphany. "Mr flirty-guy-who-can't-keep-his-mouth-shut, are you? I'm sorry, I don't bother remembering strangers I, unfortunately, stumbled upon on the streets. Now if you'll excuse me, I have somewhere to be."
"But you didn't tell me your name."
"Judging by how Kim was when I first met him, I'm sure he'd have spilt it. If not, then go ask the boy."
"Oh, Sera noona? Good morning!" Both were interrupted by the charming voice of the man-kid, Jeongguk.
Sera smiled at him warmly giving him a subtle nod before storming away to find Yoongi's car somewhere along the road.
"How come she's nice just to Ggukie, but not to me and hyung?" Taehyung who was on the terrace watching the whole drama commented out aloud.
○◆○
During the phone call, Sera had confessed two of her miseries to the man. One being the original Jimin drama which had been the cause of the whole Sera-Yoongi conversation, and, her weakening business, on further progress of the talk. When the white-haired man promised Sera he'd help her, she hadn't any idea of which issue and what potion to it he was referring to.
It was as silent as a sepulchre in his Startech. Yoongi's hands and brain completely on the steering and the road. Sera knew Yoongi wasn't the one to talk much but she felt it was much needed to at least be informed of where they're heading. She decided if he wasn't the one to speak anything first, then she wouldn't herself; Instead utilized the time glueing her eyes on the man. He, on the other hand, had zero care if he was or not being peered at.
/Yoongi had been a great assistance to Sera since the week she first landed in Seoul; right from finding her a house and workplace to anything and everything. The excuse would always be his appreciation to Sera for buying him meals and measly other materials(of definitely not of worth of how Yoongi would pay back in the present). Sera never understood him, they shouldn't have been on good terms when Yoongi had left Daegu for Seoul, but he still was courteous enough to go bid his goodbye to her. The reunion with him that she had five years back, she hadn't intended for it at all; it was just that Sera's elopement had been famous enough for him to have her hunt down./

"I'm serious Yoongi, the last time I asked you, we had this big fight so I let it go for a while. After that, you shocked me with the other two times you brought in even bigger sums and—The fuck? Are you even listening, dimwit?"
Yoongi who was busy shaking his wristwatch vigorously in hope it would help it work again, stopped. "What makes you think I am not?"
"Whatever! And I heard you've been coming here on the days when I'm not in charge. Really dude, where do you get this money from?"
"Fine, you call me your friend now, that's progress, you deserve to know. But I don't think you'll like it. I'm trusting you with this, so don't tell 'don'." Yoongi said the last word in English.
"Yo, stop calling my appa 'don'."
Yoongi smiled his iconic gummy grin. "You do know that I work now, right?"
"But then what kind of work pays so much, you never told me anything about your work. Besides, why would you exchange it here for duplicate when you have enough money to pay off all your debts."
"Sera, you never asked me what my job was."
"Just because I call you my friend now, doesn't mean I should get bored meddling in your personal business and drama."
Yoongi raised a brow.
"Alright, I just thought it was a mediocre job that pays less than enough, like waiting tables or something."
"Well, I am different. You should've—"
"What the fuck is it?"
"Stop getting impatient, will you? You know Mr Kang, right?"
"Ooh!.. So it's drug business? Alright." Sera had an amused smirk on her face.
"Let me finish, stupid. Mr Kang's empire's big, you really think someone like me will be accepted? It's his wife's brother who was recently released on parole for his fraud sentence. The guy neither has any experience in the drug world, nor does he have any connections for direct importing. I work for him, my job is buying and transporting the stuff without getting caught, which I'm very good at," Yoongi said the last sentence patting himself on the shoulder.
"Who's the supplier?"
"A rookie gang. Like I said, it's not a direct importing. I don't even know if they get their stuff direct. Mr Shin is a fool in my opinion, he's ready to pay huge amounts but not take a risk."
"You're in for a risky business. You're in the face. Really, you fear no one," Sera laughed. "So the money?"
"Yup, since he doesn't have enough workers and maybe because he trusts me, I don't know, he doesn't care as long as I bring back the stuff worth the money he gave me, I'm the only one who transports. On my way to the supplier, I take away half of the money and double it here and then refill the part that was taken. Who I gotta fear? It's a rookie gang and you Geums are really good at your job. No one has any clue so far." He winked.
"So you earn the other half of the counterfeit, hmm? Alright, that works too. My family doesn't work hard for nothing."
"That's where you are wrong. On weekends I travel to Gyeongju, the black market there gets me half of that in real cash. REAL CASH." Yoongi smirked.
"You earn a quarter of what Shin gives you every transaction? Wow." Sera's eyes lit up in thrill and appreciation.
"Yep."
"Boy, I don't see you getting any richer though."
"I'm slowly paying off the debts, I want no one to notice, and that is why you'll never see me physically flourishing." Yoongi smiled. "I thought you'd be mad at me because you know, I'm basically getting my money from you and doing the same business."
"But you do it in Gyeongju. Appa would mind it, it would hurt his ego but who cares about the old man." Sera smiled the brightest, widest smile.
Yoongi looked at her fondly. "I've never seen you smile like that."
"You're my first ever friend because I thought everyone was incompetent to match up to me. Now that I got you I think I chose wisely. You don't know how happy and proud I am, I could kiss you."
Yoongi smiled. "Who's stopping you then?"
Sera was taken back for a split second. "Well, you don't ever joke, dimwit." She harshly pulled Yoongi by his collar to help connect their lips. The kiss went slow and passionate until he pulled back from his elixir, snaking his arms around the other's waist.
"Be mine," he said.
Sera nodded and went back to tasting him.

/Both of them dated for a year. It was short-termed. Somehow Geum Shihyuk came to know of the whole deal. He didn't consider Yoongi of their standard, but it was the least of his concern as long as they didn't end up long enough to marry each other. But when he witnessed Sera changing, being soft and empathetic although she was still as dedicated in her work, he decided Yoongi wasn't good for his daughter. Knowledge on Yoongi's underground currency exchange business in Gyeongju's black market only pushed it.
He knew Sera was a tough child. The only way was to threaten her to finish Yoongi if she didn't end it with him. As soon as Shihyuk said that, Sera agreed. It was true that appa Geum didn't ever go as far as killing. He'd ruin his opponents' life, but killing? No, it could land him in prison. But Yoongi was just a poor boy whose only family was his mother. Who was to complain if he were to die on the road? Who would ever think of it as murder? Shihyuk thanked that he was blessed with a sensible and intelligent daughter./

Sera put back her phone on the table with a heavy sigh. She had all the time to think of it. It was decided that backing up wasn't an option.
"Leave everyone," she said without looking up. "Everyone but Jongin."
Jongin, or even the rest of her father's men, were older than her, but she stood higher by wealth, standard and designation. The others left the warehouse without any questionings. They were a bit taken aback, but they had an idea on what was to come. It wasn't the first time, Sera had had sex with each one of them before, more than thrice with each, at least. But it was definitely the first time in the past year.
"Why Jongin, won't you come near me?"
When he approached her, she took his hand in hers and placed it on her chest.
"Feel free to explore," she whispered. Jongin was quick to act.
Things escalated fast after that. Seemed like Jongin missed his boss' daughter's body. He was now seated on the chair with Sera kneeling in front to meet his lower half.
"We really thought you were dating that pussy."
"Who?" Sera asked.
"The Min guy."
Sera snickered. "Well, you must know he is no match for me. And so are you. He was all that is you to me." Sera unzipped his pants to reveal in her palm his erect manhood.
The door of the warehouse slammed shut in haste.
"Oh, was it the Min guy? I think I saw a glimpse of him," Jongin said. Sera only rose to her feet and started walking away in quiescent.
"Wait, where are you going?"
"Go to your home, I'm not in the mood anymore." The job was already done. Her method was cliche, but she knew it would work either way. Yoongi wasn't a dramatic guy, he'd respect it if he knew it was a deliberate attempt for a breakup.
"You're giving me blue balls."
"I'll apologize well to you tomorrow then," she turned back and winked.

The sound of Yoongi brought Sera back to the present.
"We're here," he said unfastening his seatbelt.
"Where are we?"
"Someone's place. To meet them."
Sera felt somewhat relieved. Maybe he wanted to get her a loan. That seemed extreme, it wasn't like her business failed, all she wanted was to prevent that from happening. Money could help her, but she won't need much, and loan sharks don't lend amounts the interest of which won't get them much profit.
"Who?"
"You'll see."
