Chapter 7
"That is a big crack indeed."
Jacob exclaimed as he examined the watch. He came to take over Lucas's duty since it was supposed to be raining in human planet. He was not really expecting to see a moody figure depressing at the corner when he entered the office. When he asked him what was wrong, a watch was shown to him.
Lucas kept on asking him if he knew any place that could actually fix watches in Galax ever since he had arrived.
"Well, I guess there is one but I don't really know specifically where. I've read it in a book long ago but as far as I know it's a myth," Jacob passed the watch back to him and shrugged as he answered the question. He drew something on a piece of paper and gave it to Lucas.
"But you have the whole day today so why not give it a try?"
He nodded in agreement since Jacob was taking over his job today. He decided to leave the office and walk around the Galax since he had no idea how to get there so using transportation would only bring in more hassle.

Since he had time, he wanted to stop by Leila's office but then remembered that it was forbidden for any Galaxians. It's still a mystery as to why and he really wished for that rule to be lifted soon.
He continued to head to the watch shop which he had no idea where it could be found. He just continued walking straight. He paused and stared at the paper he received from Jacob. It was a drawing of a simple map showing very vague directions to the shop.
"How am I supposed to rely on this?!"
He had been walking round and round the Galax but there was still no sign of any watch-like shop. He asked Galaxians that passed by but no one really knew if it actually existed.
Galaxians do not really wear watches since they were born in a way in which they could tell the time based on the sky. So, it was not surprising to find out that they do not know the shop.
However, Lucas was determined to find that shop by the end of the day. He did not give up and continued to search for it.

It was raining heavily outside. Jacob seemed to be working really hard. With such rain, it would be very cold and dark but the lights in the Galax made it bright and warm inside. He finally became tired and decided to rest for a bit. He had been ending up at the same place for ten times and there was still no sign of any watch shop.
According to the map, he was at the right place but there was nothing but walls. He was famished and exhausted from all the walking so he decided to teleport to a café to grab a drink before coming back.
"Hmm? Did I do something wrong?"
He tried teleporting again and again but it did not work. Beads of sweat started to drop from his forehead. "Is this like an out of zone area?!"
He could not take it anymore. If he ended up in an out-of-zone area, he would not be able to teleport and would have to resort to walking all the way back to the free zone area which is miles away. He sighed and totally gave up. He had no more energy left.
He leaned against the wall and heard a click when his back touched the wall which crumbled down all of a sudden. He dropped on the floor flat on his back as the walls were completely destroyed.
He got up and rubbed his painful back to soothe the pain away. He slowly looked up and saw a route to a place with a wooden door. He looked around to observe the place which he had never seen before.
"Is this like a secret route or something?"
Since he had no other choice, he planned to explore the room.
After knocking twice, he turned the door knob open.
"Hello?"
The place was filled with different types of watches: vintage, modern, branded and so on. It was the watch shop that he supposed he was looking for.
"Sir, how may I help you?"
An unfamiliar voice was hard from the counter so he turned his head to find a man with a nice smile, probably the same age as Aaron, standing there.
He was well-built and had a blonde hair which was combed backwards. He had never seen him before and the scar on his face made him look less friendly but he was definitely handsome. Even as a man, he found him very attractive and his heart skipped a beat.
Lucas gulped as he smiled sheepishly and out of his control, his stomach growled, making the situation very awkward.

"Here you go, Lucas."
Lucas looked at him confused. He had yet to introduce himself but he already knew his name, "I know a lot about you as a Guardian of the Sun."
Lucas munched on the sandwiches he received and nodded.
"Well, I'm curious as to how you managed to find this shop."
Lucas explained everything to him and passed him the watch to have it repaired. There seemed to be a tag clipped onto his shirt which stated, Alex. That must be his name.
Alex laughed heartily as he listened to Lucas, "It is an out of zone area since this shop is only open to certain people." He went to the counter and searched for his tool box in order to start fixing the watch.
Lucas looked around and was amazed by the amount of watches in the shop. "Did you make all these?"
Alex shook his head and placed the magnifying glass above the watch for a clear view.
"This shop belongs to my lady. She loves to collect watches and store it here. All of them are made by her."
He scanned the watch and looked at Lucas surprised, "Did you buy it?"
Lucas replied by shaking his head and told him that he got it as a present.
"Boy, you should take good care of this. You are really lucky to have gotten this. A marvelous work of art by an Angel."
Lucas blinked and stared at the watch. He had the watch made by the Angel all this time and he thought it was just a broken watch. So, angels do exist? He knew it was not something that could be bought easily and wondered how did Leila have it and why would she give him such a luxurious thing. Curiosity in him began to grow.
"I'm sorry but I don't think I can fix this, Lucas." Alex caressed the crack on the watch and passed it back to him. "Is there really nothing you can do?"
Lucas took the watch back worriedly. He did not want it to remain broken since this was the only way to reach to her. Knowing that it was the work of the Angel, he wanted it to be fixed even more desperately.
Alex shook his head and apologised, "I'm sorry, lad. There's nothing I can do but-" He paused in between his sentences.
Sensing that there could be a miracle, Lucas waited for Alex to finish his sentence.
"But there is someone who can help you."

From the outside of the watch shop, footsteps could be heard. A woman stood in front of the collapsed wall and picked up a piece of it. She crossed over the pile and continued walking.
As if it was magic, the pieces of wall started to move and just like magnet, they attached to each other upon her touch. By the time, she arrived at the door; the wall was back to normal as if nothing had happened.

"Well, who is it?"
Lucas was eager to learn about the person who can help him. It could be anyone. He just wanted the watch to be fixed fast.
A door creaked open behind them and Alex motioned his head towards the door, "Her."
Lucas turned his head to the door and was amazed to know who it was. He was both shocked and happy to see the person.
Leila Song.
