TF — what's the silliest misconception you had abt the series b4 watching it?

that it was gna suck 🌚🌚 i first heard abt jojo (in-depth) from one of my classmates, & he made it sound like every other shonen anime but with +200 weird factor & bad pronunciation of english words (za warudo??) so i was like,,,,, "eh how abt nah" but oh how the turns have tabled 🌚

OP: "BLOODY STREAM." i usually watch ops the first time & skip thereafter, but i rewatched bs basically every ep lmao :'D "fighting gold" is also amazing! (the symbolism is 💯 yall)

kakyoin vs death 13!!!! the concept & death 13 itself are both really cool, plus hot dang where am i gonna get that sweet black&white kak color scheme 😍😍 i feel like i haven't made this clear, but i, like many of yall in the fandom, actually like kak a lot 😳

joseph vs kars also had some crazy plot twists that made me lol tho xD and final kira fight where (1) plot twist where we thought he survived but homeboy just delusional 💀 (2) splat the world BEATDOWN (3) kira's head getting fuckin crushed by that ambulance & the skin on his face getting mfkin ripped off like,, thanks araki that was,,,,, i enjoyed that 🌚🌚🌚

i usually don't reread/rewatch bc i find it to be boring 🌚 but!! this one time i was rl bored i went back & rewatched the kak vs d13 eps haha 💩 i just rl enjoy that fight, i was in my kak phase back then, plus those couple eps were just so entertaining & high stakes & interesting all at the same time 👌

i dislike kars, but the worst villain in terms of the way they villained, diavolo 🌚 yes i love him but also,,, dude you didn't have to do any of that, if u just left ur daughter alone or better, actually protected her fr, she might have become a very powerful asset & you wouldn't have had to lose ur empire & ur life like infinite times 🌚 jeez dawg get a grip

tbh...... does it seem like i like making characters depressed bc i do it's my guilty pleasure 🌚 im sorry jotaro & diavolo (& abbacchio when i was in my p5 phase) yall didn't deserve this. but at the same time those fics that bring up mental illnesses just for the sake of drama or hurt/comf & doesn't bother w making it actually realistic &/or relatable?? byeeeee 😩👋👋

this is hard to think of off the top of my head, plus i don't have a lot, but these two have been on my mind:

- kakyoin survives au: after that "final" emerald splash, he unraveled hierophant green & used it to essentially fill the hole in his stomach, reconnecting any vital blood vessels & nerves & whatever else, & kept himself alive that way until help arrived.

- (not mine) melone is blind in his right eye!! never did understand or like the design of his mask, it's so impractical?? except for in scenarios involving this hc 😌

jotaro, he'd be very reliable & obv very helpful in a fight. caesar bc i like him but honestly i don't think we would vibe together. maybe kakyoin instead. josuke would be super helpful bc crazy diamond, & also he's a nice person 🥺 p5 ppl are batshit crazy & intimidating if i ever have to work w them, maybe trish tho bc i feel like she'd be nice to hang out with, & would be a good female friend.
