Jay POV

Bey and I were coming from my mom's crib and I looked over at her while I drove. She was gorgeous. Every time I look at her I think about how helpless she was. I know what I did was stupid. I shouldn't have left her and tried harder but that's my bad. Maybe everything happened for a reason. Robin is pretty chill. Its refreshing, but so is Bey. I never got to explore her but I don't want to string her or Robin along. I want to try with Bey but I know she's not ready right now. I had the bag and fumbled it, but tonight imma make it up to my bumblebee. 

"Why you looking at me like that?" She asked scrunching up her face.

"I'm just admiring how gorgeous you are. I missed you these past two weeks."

"I missed you too." She reached over and wrapped her hand in mine. "I was going to call you, but I didn't know what to say. I had saw you on TV with Robin and figured you wouldn't want to hear from me."

"I always want to hear from you, even if I'm made. When you saw us on TV she was literally a stand in for the night. I barely knew her but then we talked more throughout the night and hit it off."

"I wish I would've known. I would-"

"Bey you weren't even in the right headspace to talk to anyone. It's my bad. I should've tried harder, but Imma show you just how sorry I am tonight." I smiled genuinely at her, while she blushed.

"Thank you Shawn."

We pulled up at my spot and parked in the garage. I waited for Bey to get out before getting inside. I grabbed the food and put it in the fridge while Bey sat in the living room. 

"Go upstairs to the guest room. I have stuff in there for you."

"Gifts?" She said sounding excited.

"Something like that." I chuckled.

Bey went upstairs to the guest room while I went to my bathroom and started running tub water. I know she likes it hot so I made it just how she liked it. My friend TyTy, is a chef, so I had him whip up a few mini desserts for Bey. I let the water fill up as I went back to the kitchen to get the desserts out of the fridge. 

I took them to my bedroom and placed them on the table next to my bed. I ran back into the bathroom to make sure the tub didnt over flow. It was just at the top, it seemed like enough for Bey to get in and not make it spill over. I added some bubbles and smell good flavor to the water. The bathroom smelled like Japanese Cherry Blossom. 

"Mmmmmm It smells good." Bey walked through the bathroom door with a huge smile on her face. She was wrapped in a white robe that I had upstairs. 

"Good, I tried to pick out something girly."

She giggled and rolled her eyes. "Well you did good. This is for me?"

"Nah its for Robin. She's coming over." I said acting nonchalant, but not before I felt a sting on my back.

"Why would you invite me over here when you knew she was coming." She said mad.

I laughed at her. " Bey chill. I',m kidding. Why would I tell you to get undress and put on a robe if I wasn't gonna put you in the bath."  

She folded her arms and pouted before I reached for her embracing her into a hug.

"C'mon, put your robe on the door and get in. Ill be outside the door. Call me when you finish."

She smiled at me before letting me go and watched me walk out. She looked good, but I knew I couldn't try anything. I wanted to be there for her as a friend. I figured she would want time to herself, so I went in the guest room and showered. Thoughts of the trial crossed my mind, I dint know how it would go. Bey didn't speak on it too much as far as what Keith was pleading or anything. I just figured he would be pleading not guilty because thats how criminals are. I was scared for her, not in a cowardly way, but just that if he were to get off, she would probably be a mess. I couldn't imagine her walking through life fearful that he could come back again. I hurried up in the shower and got out. 

I put lotion on my body and threw on a wife beater and basketball shorts. I went back into my room and heard sniffles. I knocked on the door before coming in.

"Bey?"

"What's wrong?"

"Everything..everything is wrong Shawn. I...I... don't know how to feel. I'm so sad and mad and fucking confused. I don't know what to do. The pain hurts so bad Shawn." She said as the tears raced down her brown cheeks. 

"Bey, I know I can never understand what you're going through, but I know that you can not let this stop you from being who you are, which is a strong, independent, happy mother. You are the nicest and most beautiful woman I know. You are exceptional in every sense of the word. If I could take the pain away from you I would. Give yourself time to adjust and process what happened. If you ever want to talk, I'm here for you. You know that. "

Bey looked at me and wrapped her arms around my neck. I didnt mind that I was soaked, I just wrapped my arms around her and let her feel the love and comfort I offered. 

"Shawn?" She whispered into my neck.

"Yea."

"Can you take me to the bed?"

I silently lifted her out of the tub and carried her into my room. I grabbed the towel on the way out. Once, we hit the carpet, I stood her up and wrapped the towel around her body.

"Lay down and relax."

Bey went to my bed and laid down in the towel.

I took off my shirt and shorts and threw on another pair of shorts and walked out my closet shirtless.

"Shawn are you going to sleep in here with me?" Bey asked looking in my direction.

"If you don't want me to that's fine." I said about to turn around and go to the guest room.

"No, no, no, I do." She grabbed her arm. "I just want you to hurry up. I wanna be held." She said whispering the last part. 

"Your wish is my command bumblebee." I quickly went back to my closet grabbed a shirt I had and handed it to her. She undid her towel and put it on.  I climbed in bed with her back hitting my chest. I had one arm wrapped around her and used my other to  grab a mini dessert from the nightstand. 

"Try one." She opened her mouth and I fed it to her.

"This is really good. You made it?" She said in between bites.

"No, my friend Tyty. You'll meet him at some point."

"I love it. Can I have  another one?"

"Yea." I reached over and grabbed two more feeding her little by little. She looked so adorable and innocent. 

"Shawn?"

"Yea."

"Do you think its wrong that I want you to be in bed with me even though you're seeing someone else?" Bey asked as she played with my fingers.

I sighed deeply. "No...we have a lot of history. It's hard to throw that away quickly."

"But you did."

"I didn't. Even when I was around her, I thought about you. Anytime we hugged or talked, or ki--."

"Ok ok I get it.  You thought about me, but why is not easy for me to move on from you."

"Bey I don't want you to move on from me. I care about you and I want you, but I want to give you time."

"I need you Shawn...I need you to be here for me and be my rock.  Can you do that?" She turned around facing me now.

" I can if you let me. I love you Bey. I meant it when I said it before and I mean it now." I stared deep into her and longed for her. Our eyes wouldn't budge as we stared. She licked her lips before leaning closer and kissed me. I gladly kissed back. Our tongues danced as my hands gripped her waist. We made out for what seems like 10 minutes. Her skin felt soft and nice under my hands. She moaned out, but pulled away. I felt my breathe get hitched and my heart stop.

"Bey, that was...amazing."

She smiled that shy smile that I have grown to love. "Yea it was." 

"I'm glad you thought so." She turned her back into my chest and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"You know what?"

"What?" 

"I kinda want some Chinese." I said lifting my head up slightly.

"Mmmm that would be good." Bey said sitting up. "What we ordering?"

"Probably General Tso and chicken fried rice"

"Ooo yea I want some of that. Can you order from that place we used to normally get Chinese from?"

"Yea, we can. Imma call em real quick." I looked up China Star and ordered the food what me and Bey wanted. 

"They said they should be here in about 45 minutes."

"ugh I feel like thats so long." Bey said dropping back.

"Ah it'll be here in no time. Ill go get you a banana from downstairs." I kissed her forehead and left. It felt good to have her home--I mean in my home...not home as in our home, but anyways it was nice to have her around again, even if she wasn't fully herself. I just wanted to cuddle and kiss and massage her and cater to her, just everything. I hit the main floor when I heard the doorbell ring.

I was confused on who would be here this late but I opened the door and there stood Robin.

"Hey Shawnnnnnn." Robin said smiling walking around me.

"Hey what's up?"

"Nothing. Wanted to see how my man was?" 

"That's cool. It's kinda late."

"No it's not. I've come over later." She said putting her hand on my chest.

"Yea I know, but Ive had a long day."

"Yea with that B girl." Robin said rolling her eyes.

"Beyonce, she's my friend."

"Yea whatever. I can tell she wants you."

"Robin look I think that we--"

"Shawn? Whats taking so long?" I heard as Bey came downstairs.

"What the hell is she doing here?" Robin yelled as she heard Bey's voice.

"She needed me." 

"Yea I keeping hearing that. She's a grown ass woman she doesn't need you at her beck and call. Make her ass leave."

"I'm not going anywhere and you need to watch your mouth." Bey said as she finally hit the main floor.

"This is my man, so like I said" Robin looked at me, "Shawn make her leave." 

"Robin, No.... as a matter of fact, you can go."  I said highly irritated. I glanced at Bey and she looked pissed.

"Shawn, you really gonna make me leave for this hoe."

"BITCH, GET THE FUCK OUT." Beyonce walked in Robins face and I could tell she was about the beat the breaks off this woman.

Robin was pissed but didn't say anything just stormed out and left. Bey looked at me but didnt speak.

"Bey..."

She didnt say anything just walked into the kitchen.

"No, come here." I said as I followed her. I grabbed her wrist and spun her into my arms. " I got you. It's ok. Im all here for you. Nobody else."

"I know..I just got upset that's all. Love you Shawny.

"Love you too baby."

Sorry, I havent updated.I got into a car accident and haven't been up to writing. I'll update again soon.
