Shawn and I made up and I can honestly say I'm happy that he knows what happened. I feel better about it. I still get scared about men around me, but I'm getting better. We haven't talked about us saying I love you. We are just hanging out, we haven't determined if we are back together either. He's still seeing that chick, Robin. I, of course, asked him about them and he said they are seeing each other because he thought him and I were over. Those two weeks the that we didn't speak, he took that as a hint that I didn't want him. He apologized because he didn't know what happened and if he did he wouldn't have taken that step with her. It's ok though. I know that I could have him if I wanted. I just wasn't completely ready to give me all of him yet. Soon though, I don't want him to get away. We have been talking consistently since the ice cream shop and the chemistry is still there. I spent last night over his house for the kids, but didn't sleep in the bed with him. We all had a powwow in the living room and watched tv. The kids slept between us.

Tomorrow is the trial and I need to take my mind off of it. We're at my house now, so I asked Shawn if he could come with me bed shopping. I really didn't want to be in the house by myself because I knew I'd probably just start getting sad.

"Shawnyy" I whined.

"Yesss BB" He said mocking me.

"Can you come with me bed shopping?"

"Why you getting a--Nevermind. Yea. Got you. You trying to go now?"

"Yea, I want to go to Neiman Marcus."

"Ok lets go." He said lightly hitting my thigh.

"I really want a canopy bed, but we will see what they have."

"You gonna be fancy as fuck Bey."

"I know. Imma feel like a princess."

"You not a princess, you a queen." He said kissing my temple.

I smiled at him and we got in his truck. It was a 45 minute drive to Neiman Marcus.

We pulled up to valet and went inside straight to the bed section.

"You think its weird that I want a new bed?"

"No Bey, of course not. I understand it." He said putting his arm around my neck.

"Thank you for being here for me. I appreciate it." We kept talking and found a bed that seemed nice.

"What you think about this?"

"I think it's good. You should try it out." In a swift motion, Shawn picked me up and threw me on the bed.

I screamed out loud. The bed was so soft and I couldn't help but laugh.

"SHAWNN. Why you throw me? Help me up!" I kept laughing while I reached out my hand. He grabbed it and I pulled him on top of me. Oomph. He was so heavy but it felt nice to have him on top of me. He leaned up a little bit above me looking me in the eyes. We were so close, I was sure we were gonna kiss, but then he pulled up.

"Come on." He reached out his hand to help me up. I can't lie and say I was a little sad he didn't kiss me, but I guess I shouldn't have. He does have a new girl now. I grabbed his hand and he helped me slide off the bed.

"What did you think about it?" he asked.

"It was good, I liked it. I think I might get it, but I wanna check out the canopy bed."

"They got one over there." He said pointing to the other side of the room.

"ok lets go check it out."

We walked over to the canopy bed and tested it out. It was more comfortable than the first bed and its exactly what I want. I wanted it really really badly.

"You like it Shawn?"

"Yea, it's dope. You gonna look like a princess in it."

"You going to come sleep over in it?"

"You trying to make me your prince?"

"Nah. I need a king."

Shawn laughed at me and wrapped his arms under me.

"You stupid Bey. Lets go get someone to get the bed for you."

As we walked around looking for someone to get the bed for us. Someone called Shawn's name.

"SHAWN" A woman yelled from across the room.

We both turned and saw the lady he escorted to the awards that night.

"Thats her?"

"Yea Bey." He said sounding kinda disappointed.

"Hey baby. Whats going on?"

"Hey Robin. This is Beyonce. We are shopping for a new bed for her."

"Oh wow. I thought you didn't like house shopping?"

"I dont, but Bey wanted me to come."

"Mhmm. Hello Beyonce. Nice to meet you." She extended her hand for me to shake, which I did.

"How do you know Shawn?"

"Our kids go to school together." I said smiling up at Shawn.

"Oh you look so young to have a kid. You must've had him young."

"Thank you, but I'm not as young as I look."

"Your husband doesn't mind you shopping around with another man for your house."

"My husband died, but I'm glad I asked Shawn. He's been great at helping me test them out." I smiled smirking at him.

"Well, Shawn and I are going out for our date, so I hope you found one."

"Robin, I actually wont be able to make it tonight." Shawn spoke up, referring to our new plans to hang out and keep me company.

"Why?"

"Bey needs me right now and I want to be there for her, but we can pick another day."

Robin tightened her lips and looked at me and Shawn. I smiled back at her before grabbing Shawn and leading him away to the counter.

"Shawn" I said looking up at him

"What?" Acting dumbfounded.

"You know i don't like her."

"What you want me to do Bey?"

"I have an idea." I said eyeing him.

"Just give her a chance BB. She's not that bad."

"Yea ok."

We found an associate and spoke with them about having them deliver the bed and assemble it as well as getting rid of the old one.

"Thank you for coming Shawn."

"No problem Bey. You know I'm here for you."

"I know. I appreciate it and if you really don't want to be with me tonight. Go with robin."

"Nah, I'm not leaving you again. That would be stupid of me."

"Shawn, it's not your fault. I didn't tell you."

"Yea but what kinda man does that make me, that I'd be so quick to go."

I had nothing to say so i just grabbed his arm and rested my head on his arm, while we walked out and back to the car.

We drove around for a bit before we made it to the mall.

"What are you getting?"

"I wanna get you something."

"Shawn you don't ha-"

" i know i don't have to. I want to."

I smiled and we made it back to the jeweler that Shawn initially took me too.

"Yoooo my man. How you doing?" Shawn's friend said as we walked in. "Hey Beyonce. It's always good to see you again." He smiled at me.

"What up man? I just came through to get Bey something."

"Ok well you know we got some new stuff over here in this case."

Shawn and I walked over and i saw a few pieces i liked instantly. I really didn't want Shawn to buy me anything but he was adamant about it.

"You like this one?" He said holding up a pair of bamboo hoops.

"Those are dope Shawn. I love them."

"Here try them on" I grabbed them from him and put them in my ears.

"What you think?"

"They look sexy af on you. You look like a Lil thug."
Jay complimented. "You definitely getting those." He said passing his card to his friend.

"I don't see anything else i really want."

"You sure?"

"Yea, can we get some food though?"

"Yea, you want some phó?"

"Oh my gosh, yesss. I haven't had any in a while."

"Alright we'll go to Pho King and back to your house. They said your bed should be delivered by 1 anyway."

I checked my phone and it was going on 11:30.

"Alright sounds like a plan."

"Bye man, I'll catch you later. Until next time Ms. Beyonce."

I laughed at him and we left going to the food court to eat.

"What you wanna eat?" He asked looking down at me.

"Imma get the vegetable phò and a water."

"Ok"

I found us a table and Shawn went to order. I was on my phone scrolling through my timeline when i saw a picture of me. The caption read "Looks like Jay Z has a new thing, with Designer Beyoncé Kennedy." I was at jeweler with Shawn and it was me trying on jewelry. I went to the page that posted it, but it was a spam account. I was irritated. I know that we have pictures of us all the time but i don't want people thinking I'm a home wrecker. I read the comments and they were insane. Some people didn't care and some people felt like i was a bitch for trying to steal him from Robin. I was so over it. I didn't comment but i already knew what i was gonna do..

Shawn came back and could sense my mood change.
"What's wrong?"

"Your annoying ass fans."

"What you talking about?" He said unwrapping the food and passing me mine.

"Look." I showed him my phone and he just laughed it off.

"It's not funny Shawn. They are talking so much shit about me."

"Bey don't worry about it. They don't know everything."

"It doesn't matter, you know how they can be."

"Well do you want to get out of here before anybody else sees us."

"Yes thank you." I snatched my purse and Shawn followed with our food. We got in the car and drove back to my house.

Shawn put his hand on my thigh as he drove and i just looked out the window. "BB, don't let it bother you please? I don't want you to get upset over this.

"How can i not? They are basically saying I'm a sleaze. They gonna do me like they did Alicia."

He sighed before pulling over.

"What are you doing?"

He stopped the car and looked at me. I was just confused as fuck. "Relax. I care about you and i will go to bat for you, even if they mutilate me with you. I'll do it, but i will protect you from anyone who tries to come at you sideways."

I smiled at him teary eyed before throwing my arms around his neck and kissing him on the cheek.

"Thank you Shawn."

"You feel better."

"A little bit I'll be better when i get home and eat."

With that, he started the car and drove back to my house. It wasn't long, but the anticipation of eating was killing me.

Shawn and I ate in the kitchen and joked around for a while before it was time to get the kids.

"Bey, you want my mom to watch the kids tonight? I already asked and she said it would be fine."

"That's sweet. Thank you."

"I just want you to have a free night with me to relax and let me take care of you. I want to take you to my house for the night and we can leave for the trial tomorrow from there."

"Ok that sounds good. I'll pack a bag for Erin and I."

"Alright, you finished with your food?" He said pointing to the half empty bowl."

"Yea for now. I'm full."

"Imma bring it because i know you gonna want it for later."

I went upstairs and packed a quick bag for Erin. It was only one night so i grabbed a little outfit and his favorite toothbrush.

I brought a bag and filled it with some important clothes for tomorrow. I grabbed the bag and got ready to see Shawn. 

"You ready?"

"Yea I am." 

We left the house and made our way to the school so we could pick up the kids and drop them off to Shawns moms house so his mom could watch them. 

"You guys had a good day?"

"Yea we talked about dinosaurs and a bunch of stuff. It was so cool." Erin talked on our way to Gloria's. 

"Yea and then we each got some cookies for finishing our work faster than everybody." Tiera said.

"I'm glad you guys had fun. You guys are going to Grandma's house and she will take you to school tomorrow."

"Yayyyy. I like her a lot."

"Thats good because we're here."

We got out and saw Ms. gloria. Of course she greeted the kids and we hugged and said our little pieces. Time to start our pamper time.....Just me and Shawn.
