Katelyn's POV

          I woke up by the flashing light of a camera. I opened my eyes and saw Aphmau standing there with a camera while smirking.

"What?"

"Aren't you aware of the position you're in now?~"

I looked at my side and saw a sleeping Travis whose arms were wrapped around my waist while his head is on my shoulder.

My face started to burn up by how close his face and the position we were in.

"Uhh...I can explain."

"Really?~" She smirked.

I wriggled out of Travis' arms without waking him up.

Once I got out, I glared at Aphmau and started to chase her down.

"DELETE THAT PHOTO NOW APHMAU!!!!"

"NOOO KAWAII-CHAN NEEDS THIS FOR HER SHIPPING SHRINE!!!"

Seriously??!! Now Kawaii-Chan made a shipping shrine of me and Travis now??! Ugh.

I chased her down inside the house and outside for about a minute and after a while, I was able to pin her down on the ground.

I took her phone and deleted the photo.

"NOOOO MY SHIP!!!!"

I stick my tongue out and it was her turn to chase me down.

She was just glaring me throughout the chase while I just laughed.

Once, we made it to the living room, that was then Travis woke up from the noise we were making.

He yawned, "Whats with the noise?? Can't you guys tell that I was sleeping?"

"Couldn't you tell abou the position y-"

I covered her mouth as the words she was about to say muffled through my hand.

Travis raised his brow confused.

"Say another word and I'll make you pay, got it?"

She nodded rappidly in fear and I let go of her as I gave her camera back.

"Uhhh okay then.." Travis awkwardly said.

"Hi momma." I heard Karina ywaned and saw rubbing her eye.

"Aww hi sweetie. Had a good nap?" I said picking her up and carrying her.

"Mhmm." She tiredly replied.

"Did we wake you up?" I asked her.

"A littel bit."

"I'm sorry sweetie."

"Its okay momma."

I placed her down and she went to the kitchen to get a snack.

"Anywaus, I'm gonna go now. See ya guys!" Aphmau waved.

"Bye Aph."

"Bye Aphmau."

"Bye Auntie Aphmau!!"

"Baiii!!!" She waved and left the house.

"Soo...what was Aph supposed to say to me a while ago?" Travis asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Right after I asked why you guys were running and she was about to say something but you cut her off."

"Oh umm it was nothing important." I nervously chuckled.

He seemed confused but shrigged it off.

I let out a sigh of relief hoping that he wouldn't know what happened to us when we were sleeping on the couch.

I also noticed that it was getting dark so I decided to make dinner now.

"Hey Travis, you wanna stay here for a bit?"

"Umm sure."

I cooked dinner while Travis just set the table. Karina is just watching TV.

The doorbell then rang.

"Karina, could you please get the door?" I asked her.

"Okay mama."

She got out of the couch and went to the door.

Once she opened it, I saw the person who was at the door. It was the person who I truly hated and never wanted to see ever again. Jeffory.

"Hi there Karina." Jeffory said.

"Mommy!!" Karina ran towards me and I picked her up.

Travis noticed Jeffory and glared at him.

I handed Karina over to Travis.

"Take care of her for a while okay?" I whispered to him.

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay?" He asked me.

I nodded, "Yeah I think so."

"I'll be here if you need me."

"Thank you."

He smiled and I smiled back.

Karina gripped on Travis' shirt as she burried her face on his chest.

"Its okay dear, mommy will deal with this." I kissed the top of her head and she smiled at me.

I walked over to Jefforu with crossed arms.

"What are you doing here Jeffory? Didn't I tell you to stay away from me?"

"I-I know you did but i just want to try to check on you."

"Since when did you care?"

"Katelyn I still love you!"

"Does loving me means marrying another woman and having a family with her?! No its not!! Thats not how love works. We've been through so much Jeffory: ever since high school we've been together. And what did you do? You ruined it by finding someone else. You left me and our daughter. I loved you but not anymore."

"Katelyn I-"

"Stop!! I don't wamt to hear anymore excu-Hmph!"

He cut me off by kissing me. I immediately pushed him away and wiped my lips.

"What the hell was that for?!" I yelled at him.

"Katelyn I don't care what you say but i still love you no matter what!"

"And do you think kissing her was the way to show your love for her?!" Travis yelled as he walked to my side.

"You don't tell me what to do, she doesn't even love you the same way you do to her."

"Whether she loves me or not, I still care for her. Thats what real love is: whether you're in a relationship with that person or not, you still show your care and support to them. You obviously didn't show that to Katelyn and Karina two years ago." Travis added.

What he said just made my heart melt. He knew the type of love I needed. It didn't really needed to be shown through a kiss but rather by the actions the person has done for you.

"Stay away from mommy!" Karina yelled.

"And never return!!" I added.

Jeffory sighed in defeat and walked away.

I closed the door and sighed.

Travis gave me Karina and she was crying on my shoulder.

I calmed her down while Travis continied the cooking for me.

Why? Why in the world did he have to be here now?
