The next morning...

Katelyn's POV

          Welp...yesterday was awkward. Travis and I just had that weird awkward stare and once we realized it, we just couldn't help but be more awkward towards each other. 

I mean, I told Travis he can come back yesterday...so I'm just hoping that everything will go smoothly as possible and act as if nothing happened yesterday.

Karina was watching more My Little Horsies while I was wiping the dishes since we ate breakfast.

The doorbell rang. "Karina, can you go get it for me, sweetie?"

"Yes mama!" She smiled as she went to the door.

She opened and it was Travis. Welp...I'm dead.

"Daddy!!" She tightly hugged his leg.

"Hi Karina!!" He hugged her back.

Karina let him in and his eyes landed on mine.

PLEASE DON'T MAKE US HAVE THE AWKWARD STARE AGAIN!!

"Can you play with me daddy?"

"Oh of course, I just want to talk to your mommy first."

She nodded and went upstairs.

He then looked back at me and I awkwardly smile.

"Hey.." I started.

"Hi.."

"So umm about yesterday..you know..with the weird stare that we had..?"

"Uhh yeah..sorry for the umm..awkwardness we had."

"Its fine..." He said.

We both got ourselves in an awkward silence since both of us don't know what to say.

"Lets umm..forget what happened, okay?" I said.

"Yup..I can do that." He chuckled.

I chuckled as well and we both smiled to each other.

"But for the record, you were the one who started staring at me~" He smirked.

I then blushed, "Wha-no I wasn- I-I uhhh.."

He chuckled, "Its okay blueberry, I know I'm already charming for you~" He winked at me.

(Technically, Vylad is the "Charming Rogue" so I guess he's more of the charming guy since he got the title first before you did XD. But don't worry, you'll always be Katelyn charming dude *wink wink*)

My face turned like a tomato and I slapped his arm.

He rubbed it but still laughed.

I crossed my arms and looked away. He then took my hand and kissed it before heading upstairs to play with Karina, leaving me crimson red and shocked.

Hey atleast we're not awkward to each other anymore.

Travis' POV

          Phew, welp..atleast I got that off my chest. I honestly couldn't take the awkwardness that Katelyn and I had yesterday. 

Karina's door was already opened yet I still knocked on it.

She then noticed me, "Hi daddy!!"

Yep..she still calls me daddy. Wanna know how long this has been going on? Ever since Christmas. Although I'm not mad cause not only does she thinks of me as a daddy, but also I get a better chance with Katelyn.

But still though, her calling me daddy was a bit creepy at first.

"Can we play now?" She asked holding my hand.

"Yup!"

"Yey!!"

For some reason, she wanted to play tag in her room. I tried convincing her that we should do it in the backyard but she didn't want to, so thats why I just let it slide and played with her instead.

After a while, I then noticed that while I was chasing Karina, she was running too fast.

"Karina be careful!"

She wasn't anle to hear me cause of all her giggling.

Just then, she slipped and landed on her butt.

She started to tear up and I ran over to her side.

"Shh shh shh its okay.." I carried her and placed her on her bed and saw that Katelyn came into the room.

"Is everything oka- Oh my Irene Karina!! Are you okay?!" Katelyn asked worriedlt as she ran to Karina and hugged her.

"I'm okay mommy."

"What happened?" She asked me.

"Karina wanted to play tag with me up here but I told her not to yet she kept begging. So I just made her play and she ran to fast and she slipped."

Katelyn sighed, "Karina, next time you play outside, okay? And make sure to listen to Uncle Travis."

"Okay mommy."

Katelyn sat beside her and started stroking her hair as she kissed her daughter.

Karina still started to sob.

"Shh its okay, Karina. Mommy isn't mad at you, so don't cry."

She still sobbed and I didn't know what to do. Thats then an idea popped in my head.

"I know what can make you feel better." I said.

Both Katelyn and Karina looked at me.

I then smirked at Karina and started to tickle her.

She was laughing, giggling and almost screaming happily.

I saw Katelyn just looking at me and chuckled.

          Karina was now asleep and Katelyn and I went out of the room. I slowly closed the door behind us and we both went downstairs.

We sat on the couch beside each other.

"Does Karina always a sleepyhead?" I asked Katelyn.

She chuckled, "Yeah. Ever since Aphmau introduced her to My Little Horsies, Karina couldn't help but to watch the show a lot. Thats why I always get a hard time to put her in bed but you seem to know your ways."

"Well, I learned from the best." I looked at her.

She looked at me back and smiled.

"Welp, I gotta get back to working." She said as she was about to get up from the couch but I pulled her back down.

"Come on Katelyn, I can tell you're still tired. Take a break for a bit."

"But Travis I-"

"No buts..or else."

"Or else what?" She raised a brow.

I smirked and started tickling her.

"HAHAHA NO TRAVIS-HAHA S-STOP HAHA."

"Nope."

She kept on laughing and laughing.

"P-PLEASE S-STOP!! HAHAHA THAT T-TICKLES!!"

"Not until you rest first.".

"OKAY OKAY I WILL!! HAHAHHA"

"And you ahve to go on a date with me." I smirked.

"YES I'LL GO ON A DATE WITH YOU."

"Great." I stopped tickling her and noticed that her eyes widened in shock as she blushed.

"W-w-wait..did you just-"

"Ask you out? Yep, I did."

"Oh hell no I ain't going on a date with you."

"Too bad, you already said yes~" I smirked.

She then blushed even more, "B-But-"

"No buts, you already said yes and so you're going on a date with me~"

Katekyn was still speechless and she looked like a tomato.

"I'll pick you up at 6 tomorrow night. See ya soon blueberry." I winked at her.

I then got up and left the house, leaving a stunned Katelyn sitting on the couch.

While walking to my house, I couldn't help but mentally squealed excitingly in my head on what I just did.

Looks like I'm going on a date with her.
