Katelyn's POV

          After we ate dinner, I put on some comfortable clothes and went to my room. I laid on my bed and couldn't help but just remember all the bad memories of my divorce with Jeffory.

First he found another woman and had a child with her, and now he's coming back to me and say that he loves me??!! Who does he think he is??!!

He's already living a good life with that other woman and child so he better stick woth it than bother my own life.

Someone knocked on the door and I knew it was Travis.

"Come in!" I called out.

He entered the room and closed the door.

"Karina's asleep now." He said.

"Thanks Travis."

"No problem."

He sat beside me on the bed.

I patted my lap gesturing for him to lay his down on my lap.

He laid down and I started braiding his hair.

"I really wish Jeffory didn't have come here. Everything was just going fine until he came along." I said to Travis.

"Its okay Katelyn, we're all here for you and your daughter."

"Thanks Travis. Especially standing up to me a while ago."

"Its no problem. I'll do anything to help you out." He smiled.

I smiled back.

A few tears started to stream down from my face because the memories keep coming in my head.

"Oh no, Katelyn."

He sat up and wiped my tears.

"Katelyn, you thinking about Jeffory is just gonna make things worse for you."

"But what happened to two years ago was just too painful that its just stuck there and it'll never be forgotten." I sobbed.

"I know. We all feel the same thing: sometimes we wish that the bad memories or mistakes that were made in the past would just be gone but they won't, they're always a part of us. We just have to learn how to move on and learn from them."

"How do I do that?"

"How about I take you and Karina a little outing this weekend? Maybe that can help you have your mind cleared up from Jeffory."

I smiled to the idea.

"Yeah, I think Karina and I will like that."

"Great. Now stop crying, it isn't a good luck on you."

I chuckled and wiped my tears.

He hugged me and I didn't even thought of punching him. I just hugged him back without hesitation.

I really needed this. I really needed the comfort right now, and Travis was the perfect person to do so.

"Is it okay if you sleep with me tonight?" I whispered to his ear.

"R-Really? Why?" He blushed as we pulled away from the hug yet still holding each other's arms.

"I just need some comfort right now."

"Is this the time where you already fell for my charms~"

"Travis, don't even think about making me regret my decision." I glared at him.

"I'm just teasing. Sure I'll sleep with you if it makes you have a better sleep."

I smiled, "Thanks Travis."

"Anytime."

We both laid down and went under the covers. I switched off my lamp.

I turned my head towards Travis and he was just staring at the ceiling probably thinking about something. I was just staring at him.

I softly smiled and placed my head on his shoulder before drifting to sleep.

Travis' POV

Oh my Irene, I can't believe Katelyn wants me to sleep with her!!!! I know I seem calm on the outside but I am mentally freaking out right now.

Okay Travis, don't blow this or else you'll definitely be sent to the hospital if you try making stupid moves on her.

Although I do feel bad for her, Jeffory literally just came back to his ex-wife and now he's telling her that not only he loves her but KISSES HER??!!!

He's literally just getting himself into more problems. Katelyn doesn't deserve a guy like him. She deserves someone who will be there for her no matter what, and will love her and will never leave her.

I sadly ain't that person cause I don't think Katelyn thinks of me as more than a friend. Yet I can still try to win her heart, as long as I don't make the qrong stupid moves then I'll be fine.

I felt Katelyn placed her head on my shoder and she soon fell asleep.

I watched her as she softly snores and I smiled.

I turned to Katelyn's side and wrapped one arm around her before I soon fell asleep.

The next morning...

I woke up and checked my phone to see the time. It read 6:00 a.m. in the morning.

Ugh its still too early.

I looked down and saw Katelyn's head was on my chest while she had an arm wrapped around my waist

I blushed and soon began stroking her hair while she was asleep.

I then received message from Dante.

Dante: Hey bro, are you there?

Travis: Hey Dante, whats up?

Dante: You didn't came home last night. Did something happened? Or was it just the power of love between you and Katelyn?😏😏

Travis: DANTE!!

Dante: I'm joking. But in all seriousness though, did something happened last night?

Travis: Yeah..

Dante: What happened?

Travis: Jeffory.

Dante: Oh no...what did he do?

Travis: He all of a sudden found out about Katelyn's address and told her that he loves and her. SHE EVEN KISSED HER!!

Dante: Oh my Irene, is Katelyn and her daughter alright?

Travis: So far, they're doing fine. Although I don't think its gonna be that easy to just move on from what happened.

Dante: Are you planning to do something?

Travis: Yeah, I was planning on having Kately and Karina to have a litte outing to get their minds cleared off from Jeffory.

Dante: That seems like a good start. Man, Jeffory was such a really nice guy back in high school. He really cared for Katelyn and he loved her. I wonder why would he do  that two Katelyn after everything they've been through.

Travis: I know right? First he cheats on Kately and now he's gonna cheat on his new wife? Who does that?

Dante: Well if it sounds like he's planning to have two wives then I suppose that sounds like me since I had two girlfriends back in high school.

Travis: Yup, and its still weird for me to think that again =_=

Dante: Hey!

Travis: Hahahahaha. Anyways, I better get going. I'll see you later tonight.

Dante: See ya bro.

Our text conversation ended.  Damn, typing with only one hand is hard. Just then, Katelyn finally woke up.

"Morning blueberry." I greeted as I still kept on stroking her hair.

"Good morning." She yawned.

"Had a good sleep?"

"Yup."

"You're welcome."

She glared at me and punched my arm.

"Ow."

"Sorry."

"Its fine. It was worth it anyways."

She playfully rolled her eyes and got up from bed.

I did the same and head to the bathroom to do some business. (You guys probabaly know what that means but just in case you don't, then ask someone else XD)
