Jesus is the ultimate relationship

Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born []again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." - John 3:3 (NKJV)

The best thing that ever happened in the history of this world is having Jesus visit us. When Jesus visited, He reconciled the whole of mankind to God. You might ask, "What do you mean the whole of mankind?" Good Question! Salvation is for everyone. Not everybody is saved, but salvation is available to everyone that accepts the gift of the son of God.

Salvation is for everyone

God has shown us clearly how very kind he is. He has now come to save all people. - Titus 2:11 (EASY)

God wants everybody to dwell in Heaven. But did you know that how we live our lives and what we choose everyday determines whether or not we want to live in Heaven? Heaven is found in a man. Only He can show us how to go to Heaven. It's not about Do's and Don'ts. Its about Jesus. Jesus is the only way to the kingdom of God. He is the way. The truth. And the life!

Salvation does not discriminate

I am not ashamed to tell people the good news. God uses that good news to show his great power. He uses it to save all people who believe in Jesus Christ. First, God saves all Jews who are believers. And he also saves all Gentiles who are believers. - Romans 1:16 (EASY)

The Bible was written by Jewish men. Only one book was written by a Gentile. That's the book of Luke. Everything else is inspired by Jewish men. That's why even today, Israel is a special place to the people of God. Everyone plans a special retreat to have in Israel.

The word of God says, "He uses it to save people who believe in Jesus." All you have to do is believe. The gospel is not for black people. The gospel is not for white people. The gospel is not for the poor neither is it for the rich. The gospel is used to save all people. If you believe in Jesus, you can be saved. The world's problems is in accepting people a little different from them. You meet black people and suddenly, you are afraid. Or you meet white people and suddenly you cannot relate anymore. But the kingdom of God accepts everyone. Being black is no credential for being in Heaven. Believing in God is what saves us.

Salvation is not for the Adventists. The Pentecostals. The Catholics or the Episcopal. Salvation is for everyone.

The good news explains how God accepts people as right with himself. He does this when they believe in Christ. It is only because of their faith. Nothing else. This is what was written in the Bible long ago:'Everyone that God accepts as right will live, because they trust him.' - Romans 1:17 (EASY)

The only time that God can save you is if you believe. You can start right now. Perhaps your relationship with God hasn't been what it's supposed be and maybe you worry that you ran out of grace. I want you to believe that God can forgive you and that you can start anew the greatest relationship you will ever have. Did you know that only God accepts us as we are? If you found out my little frailties or weaknesses, you could change in the way you relate with me. But look at Jesus:

But God has shown us how much he loves us. Even when we still did not obey God, Christ died on our behalf. - Romans 5:8 (EASY)

I couldn't think of a greater love than the love that God bestows upon His children. Can you think of anything greater? When you allow God's love to permeate your heart of hearts, you would have allowed the greatest and sweetest thing ever to envelop you in the riches of God's grace. The love of God is the grace of God.

She slid in my DM

In 2015, I got into my first relationship as a born again believer. It actually started through the phone. It was so weird. A girl I never knew texted me and said they wanted to be my friend. At first, I ignored the messages. I was honestly afraid and thought it was going to be some weird social media experience that would ruin my life. But after a few weeks of being buttered up, I gave in and sent my number to this mystery girl.

I was in boarding school at the time and because of that, I spoke to my mystery girl only on weekends. And before I realized it, we had made plans to link up. We talked so much over the phone and I do not remember ever mentioning that I loved Jesus. I had been born again only a couple of months but I knew enough within me that I probably had to say it. But I didn't. We just talked and talked and talked some more.

Boy meets girl

Circumstances can change the relationship you have with God. If you have made it this far, you know exactly what I am about to talk about. Yes! You got it right! Right on sister! We are about to talk more on being single. I want to show you that relationships affect you more than you are usually willing to admit. Most times, we really know that we are not supposed to be involved in a type of relationship. It doesn't take the Holy Ghost descending upon us in form of a dove to know that we are not supposed to be involved with that guy. Okay?

I met my mystery girl and we had already started dating. I don't remember the exact date. But it happened some time in 2015. Do you want to be in a relationship that is so undefined that you don't even know when it started? How you start is important. Mine started in a DM. And today I can tell you that I am not with this girl.

Was she a Christian? Yes. Was she godly? No! Ladies and gentlemen, I write not to shame anybody or make myself seem super super spiritual. I am only writing as honestly as I possibly can. The reason why my relationship failed is because of the way it started. It didn't start right. Maybe we could have had a better chance if we had decided on knowing each other. But I started a relationship that I wasn't willing to define. In the spur of the moment, we can do anything. The other reason why my relationship failed is because we were different. We were not compatible spiritually. We both needed to grow in God, at least, to the level were we could both meet. Assuming that somebody knows God is not enough to sustain your relationship in the long run. Time tests everything.

Final thoughts

I have an uncle and aunt who have been married 33 years. My uncle also happens to be my pastor. He was with my aunt 15 years before they got married. In the 15 years, they dated. Got engaged and grew in their knowledge of each other. He shared with me that he never tried to impress his babe. He was just himself through out. He never had much money. He didn't have much of anything, but all he had was faithfulness to the one girl that he eventually married. He also shared with me the temptations they had in wanting to redefine their relationship. In my aunt's own words she says:

He tried kissing me sometimes, but we both ran away and just avoided doing that. We never spent too much time together, but we learned to value one another in our differences. For 15 years, he was the same guy. And today, I am only thankful that God gave me such a husband.

I am not asking you to date for 15 years. That's very long! I am only asking you to wait and patiently pray for your God-given partner. Even in your youth, you can enjoy a wonderful relationship.

Note: I dedicate this chapter to Eternela and  Slytherpuff1996 . Thank you so much for being wonderful and being kind enough to comment, to vote and to read. May God bless you in ways unimaginable! Thank you so much. Have a wonderful day.

Thank you readers! You are so wonderful!
