Ch. 3
"Come on Lia, please" Complained Sarah. Sigh, that girl loves romance.
"No, Sarah, and it's not like he knows me anyway. I bet he doesn't even know my name."
"He might not now but he will soon"
"Sam, your smart you should know that one singing contest isn't going to make him like me."
"Maybe not in the blink of an eye but we have ours ways" Sam said in the most devious voice I've ever heard from her.
"And may I ask what those plans are"
"No you may not my friend, no you may not. Anyhow, I should get going I have to go to the Mathletes meeting early to help set up."
"Okay. Bye!" We all said in unison. Sometimes I wonder how we're all friends when we're all so different. I mean like we have Sam who just left because she's the leader of the Mathletes. Jules the best athlete in our grade, maybe even school. Sarah the most love sick person you will ever meet. Note to any boys who want to ask her out do something really cheesy.
And the last of my friends, MiMi, the best artist I have ever meant. Okay, I might be being a tad bit bias but she already has scholarships being offered to her and it's only September. You know that and the fact that she's only a Junior. She keeps on declining them and telling them to contact her when she's a Senior.
She says it's only because she's not a Senior yet but I feel like it's my fault. She always says she's dreamed of 2 things: to become a world renowned artist and to go to prom together. And she has so many opportunities to complete the first one but keeps on putting it off until she completes the second one. Which isn't nearly as important.
After Sam left Sarah and Jules left too. The only people who were left were me and Mia. This isn't uncommon though and do our daily gossip session.
Everything is so typical the common they got together, they broke up, sigh nothing interesting happens at my school.
"Oh, Lia, Sarah told me they might have Morp this year." Wait never mind this might be interesting. Also, why am I not surprised that Sarah knew this she is on practically every dance committee in the school.
"But that's not the best part. Instead of just Seniors they might let the whole school come"
"What that's amazing. They never let the whole school come to dances"
"I know! But that brings us to the next subject. Who are you going to ask?"
"Hmmmmm. Probably, no one."
"You can't go by yourself!"
"Yes, I can"
"Fine, but ." Oh no a but. " you have to wear a nice dress this time.
Oh, that's not too bad "Fine."
"Cool. Now to another subject. I'm defiantly Mark but how should I ask him."
"You've been dating for three months now MiMi. I'm sure if a you just ask him he'll say yes"
"Thanks. How are you so good at giving relationship advice?"
And to that I can only shrug.

I'm sorry for the chapter being shorter than normal but I'm trying to get this book to really seem good even if it is kind of bad.
So, please don't hurt me I'm just kind of writing chapters in advance so you don't have to wait like a month. Then again when people take a month they usually have like 70 pages. So 8 pages every week isn't too bad, right?
Sorry for not updating. I wanted to try and update on every Friday and I already have the chapters typed out but I'm just too forgetful.
