SYNOPSIS of SING / SCREAM

LAYLA RIVERS NEVER knew her mother, or her father for that matter. She never knew much about them either. Of course, it wasn't for the lack of trying. It would seem, among hunters of the supernatural, one's word is like gold and even more-so to the Rivers family who made Ophelia & Paisley Kelly swear not to talk about Aurora.

AT THE AGE of fifteen the Rivers family has a test of skill, a challenge of sorts. The first solo hunt after years of training and studying, of acting as backup. Layla could shoot before she could ride a bike and could name every weakness of ghosts, werewolves, and vampires at a second's notice. Though, the real thing was a lot different from the simulations that were set up for her throughout her childhood and adolescence.

CHANCE IS FUNNY. She was dropped off in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Alone. All she had to do was find out what was killing people and put it down, simple. However, it's less simple when two random guys show up and crash her hunt-only for her to find out they were the Winchester brothers; two of the most prolific and well-known hunters in the supernatural world.

IT WOULD SEEM the apple didn't fall far from the tree when it came to Layla.

00. This fic has been years in the making ( including 3 different iterations of it before this, you may have seen it as 'the half-demon girl' or 'vigilante shit') but it's finally here! Layla's story has been a passion project of mine since about 2018 (or whenever season 13 came out) so I hope you enjoy!!

01. Dean is the dad I have always wanted and I will be leaning into that favoritism heavily so Dean antis (do you even exist??) leave now. This is going to be a very detailed and in-depth story with many elements added by yours truly since the cw missed out on the chances to expand the universe of Supernatural (never forget Wayward Sisters and Supernatural: Bloodlines). Note that I haven't watched The Winchesters so if anything I write here contradicts information from there, that is why.
