Oh, hey guys
I think you already know what today is.
Yep, you guessed it, it's the live shows.
The crowd here is bigger than ever and I can't seem to spot my friends or family anywhere. The most nerve racking thing is that I'm going to start the show.

As I'm standing there backstage I see the judges walking on stage and I hear the cheers of a lot of people. My hands become very sweaty and my heart is beating at a very fast pace.

"Can Harper Woodsen please come with me?,"
A member of the crew says and I do as I'm told

"On five you're going on stage,"
He says and I nod

I can see the stage doors opening

4..
I hear my name being called out

3..
The cheers get louder

2..
I get a glimpse of the crowd

1..
Here goes nothing

When I'm done all I hear is the clapping of hands and the cheering of the crowd.
I look around and finally see my family and friends. They're jumping around and shouting my name.
God, they even have T-shirts with my face on it!

When the clapping and cheers turn down a little the judges start with their comments

Simon: "Great way to start the show, I loved it, it was fun and it fit the theme perfectly. Good job."

Nick: "I really liked it. The long note I thought was amazing and yeah that's it."

Cheryl: "It was fun. The long note was good and I loved when you sang the soft parts your voice, it's just so calming when it's soft. Great job."

Rita: "Really nice and fun way to start the show and yeah, I'm really proud of you!"

With that I thank them and quickly wave to my family and friends before getting off stage.

Now, I can just relax and see the other contestants perform.
