Hollywood 1995
Two hours before the performance, four boys are practicing at a place called The Orpheum. The Orpheum was known for many huge rock bands and musicians. But to four young men it was a fantasy turned into a dream but turned into reality. It was the start of a new beginning. A beginning of greatness. But sadly it came to end.
The three members of the band Sunset Curve had passed away due to a tragic accident and it had shattered their dreams of performing at The Orpheum.
The boy in a pink hoodie and blonde hair starts the song, "One two three!" He proceeds to play his drums.
The boy in the right and center of the stage known as the lead singer because he wrote the music starts to sing, "Take off... Last stop... Countdown till we blast open the top."
His other two band mates jammed along with him playing their guitars. While the boy in the pink hoodie continued playing his drums.
"Thank you, we're Sunset Curve!" The burnet boy wearing an all back outfit and black leather jacket yelled.
The song ended leaving the four boys hot and sweaty like they were at the gym. They slowly heard slow clapping. They turned around and saw a girl with curly hair standing by the table cleaning with a towel in her hand.
" That was great." The girl says.
'Too bad we wasted the tightest we've ever played on sound check!" The fourth boy said. The lead singer nodded his head, " Oh wait until tonight man. When this whole place with record exces!" He says excitedly.
" Alex you were smoking!" Said another boy. Alex shakes his head.
"Oh no I was just warming up, you guys were on fire!" Alex said.
"Can't you just own up to your awesomeness for once?" The same boy from earlier spoke as Alex grinned. " Alright, I was killing it!" The lead singer patted him on the back, " Yeah you were!" he says grinning.
" Hey is there anyone up for hotdogs tonight before the show?" The lead singer asks and the boys let out oohs. " Hey Bobby, where are you going?" He asks.
"I'm good," Came Bobby's response. Bobby walks up to the woman. " Vegetarian I could never hurt an animal." He lied.
"You guys are really good! I could connect with you guys," The woman said to the four boys.
" Thank you," The first boy said.
" I've seen a lot of bands. Been in a couple myself. I was really feeling it." She continued.
" That's what we do this for, I'm Luke by the way." Luke says.
"I'm Reggie,"
"Alex,"
" Bobby."
"Nice meeting you guys. I'm Rose." The woman said as she watched Luke wet willy Bobby.
"Oh here's our demo! And a t-shirt size beautiful. " Reggie says flirting while pulling out a cd and white shirt with the sunset logo on it. The woman looks at it in awe.
" Thanks. I''l make sure not to wipe the tables down with this one." She says putting it on her shoulder.
"Oh good call whenever they get wet just- fall apart in your hands." Alex said.
"Don't you guys have some hot dogs to get to?" Bobby questioned.
"Yea," Says Luke pushing Bobby back. " He had a hamburger for lunch." He told the girl. They walked out back from The Orpheum to get the hotdogs. As they walked, Reggie gave a t-shirt to one of the girls in line and they screamed out,
" Reggie wait!" and "Sunset Curve we love you!"
Little did they know that it when they got the hot dogs would be their last night here on earth.
